This was the best experience i have ever had at a Benihana and any hibachi place. I have to highlight Sharon as our server because she was so incredible. I am vegan and i have no expectations coming in just hoping i could ask for no butter. Sharon made sure to communicate and tell our chef to cook my food separate and that i was vegan. She brought me a miso soup instead of the broth soup and recommended the tofu that i didn't even know they had and it was amazing. It was quiet but eventful with a beautiful view of the water and sunset. Our chef Efrain was also just incredible, fun and professional and also put very much care into my vegan food. read more

Christina, our server was great and attentive! She brought out drink refills before the drinks were all gone - super appreciated that because you know she was paying attention to her customers and always had a smile on her face (If rating solely on service, then Christina would get 5 stars). Food was delicious and our chef was friendly as well. Overall a friendly environment and great experience. Loved the ambiance of this Benihana as it overlooks the river and bridge but the facility can use a little updates. Only feedback is that the hostesses didn't have a clue what was on the happy hour menu or the prices, which would be helpful for hostesses to know if a customer were to ask since they are responsible for answering phone calls, and since the website menu does say to contact your local Benihana for details on happy hour menu items and prices. This place is so OVERRATED! When you walk in the front door it is dark and dirty and smells like mildew. We were sat at a table near the back where they apparently keep extra supplies. It seemed cluttered and messy. The food was SO expensive! I'm talking ~$40 for some mediocre chicken and steak. Fried rice is an extra charge and the club soda was $4!! Our waitress was nice and the chef who cooked for us was friendly enough although he seemed like he was in a rush. I knew going in that the prices were higher because you pay for the experience, however the experience was disappointing and the food was even worse. Save your money and go to one of the nice restaurants on the water instead! read more

Went on a Tuesday night with 12 people to the Stuart, FL location during a thunderstorm. Water poured off roof and flooded entrance with 2 inches of water under the entrance. Could get out of car, had to pull out of the covered entrance to let the people out in the rain so they could walk back to the entrance. No gutters, water just poured over everyone. We had reservation at 7:00pm and it took them 45 minutes to seat us. Place smells musty, rug all dirty, had a hole in the wall beside us with plastic A/C ducts running along the ceiling, dead lizard and roach above out cooking station in the light cover. Ceiling A/C duct falling out of ceiling full of mold. Food was the only saving factor as it was very good, didn't get out of there until 10:15pm as the waiter kept disappearing. This is pure greed, this Benihana's should be closed and renovated before someone gets sick. Where are the health inspectors, as this has gone on for twenty years. Shame on you Benihana's read more

The only reason I would even consider giving a 1 star and not a 0 is the edamame and the server. We sat downstairs, ordered filet with chicken fried rice and a combo chicken and steak with chicken fried rice. The chicken was fine - not hot at all but flavor okay. The steak was not great or hot. The rice tasted like cleaner and that's when I stopped eating. My fiancé got the filet and it was also not warm and tasted worse than my steak did. It was absolutely terrible, our waitress came over to check on us and I told her it was awful and she said she'd check with her manager that we barely touched anything so she'd Shelley what she could get off.......she came back the manager took off a whole $2 for the UPCHARGE to chicken fried rice. This was the worst hibachi food I've had in a long time and I felt so bad for the waitress she tried her best to help us and not make us feel bad for hating the food but it was terrible.
