    Chicken Hibachi

I came here to celebrate a friends birthday and use birthday coupon that you get as apart of the Benihana Reward's. The chef was interactive and and we had a great experience while our food was being prepared. Ultimately, I feel like the hibachi portions have gotten smaller, but the food was still fresh and flavorful!

I'm sad to write this updated review because I LOVE the food at Benihana. Honestly, they have gotten so expensive I don't think it's worth coming here anymore. I ordered a chicken lunch to go, and it was $28! A similar hibachi lunch at literally any other place is usually $10-13, so doesn't seem worth it anymore, and as I mentioned I got it to go, so didn't tie up time with a chef and didn't get the benefit of the "show". They also still have a 20% up charge if you dine at a table with a chef but have removed that fee if you eat at the bar and bypass the show.

Upcharge to just go to management

We celebrated my son's tenth birthday here, and while he had fun, the rest of us were mostly laughing on the way home at how poorly the night went. Once kids move past the age for this cruise ship style show, there is not much reason to return. It started with a rushed, impersonal check-in that felt more like a cattle call than a welcome. Dinner had multiple issues: missing ingredients, staff yelling across the kitchen for lighters and mushrooms, and to-go boxes handed out before we had even started eating. Our waiter and chef were kind and trying, but the whole place felt chaotic and mechanical. For a bill close to five hundred dollars, it did not feel like a special occasion. It felt like we were being processed. The twenty percent service charge, which in our case was over sixty dollars, was explained as not going to the staff. We were still expected to tip on top of that. It came off as management cost shifting. The birthday boy had fun, which matters, but I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a quality experience.

Went here for my sister's bday tonight. The service was great, Leo was our hibachi chef and he had great flare and was so nice. This location was amazing. If you're looking for a fun evening and amazing food I recommend!! If you're looking at going, I highly recommend making a reservation.

Stopped by here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night. It was hopping. Very busy and active on this night. We had a reservation and everyone for that reservation was there on time and we were seated right away. This location is like most other locations. Cozy. With about eight seats around the table that has the big teppanyaki grill in the center. Placed our drink orders and got our waters. The service was a little slower just because of how busy they were. Placed our order for the entrees. Most of the entrees come with the soup and salad. Clear soup with onions and mushrooms. Tasty and a good palette cleanser to the before the meal. The salad come with a ginger sauce that is refreshing and on this day, it was very fresh and the lettuce very crisp. One of the best I have had at this location. We started with the appetizers, the zucchini, onions and shrimps are cooked fresh with garlic butter and soy sauce. Tasty. Especially with the sauces that are provided. Benihana has the best yum yum sauce in town. Ordered my standard entree, the deluxe treat, which is filet mignon and lobster. Always pay for the extra chicken fried rice. The food was cooked well and tasty, although I found it a little saltier than usual. Overall, this is a fun place to go with the family and even though can be a little expensive (prices have gone up as with everything else), its nice to have nice dinner and a show.

I don't eat the seafood much so can't comment on those. If I did eat seafood it'd be worth my money. These foods are Asian style, NOT American. So if you're here to eat pizza, fried, clam chowder or macaroni you'll be disappointed. Even the textures, tenderness of meats and seasonings are different so if you don't like Asian textures or seasonings, you won't like it. Waitresses are usually attentive but most of them don't speak English or communicate well which defeats the purpose of service beyond getting your plates cleared or water refilled. The woman who works at the front desk is one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered! It surprises me that she still works there, unless she is the owner. When I came here before I had a question about whether we eat first or pay first and she just SHUSTED ME, and continued to SHUST me and wouldn't let me speak. I was with a large group at that time. Customers have the right to ask these questions and inquire about payment requirements before eating. Her shushing me to my face and continue to ignore my question just making making hand movements for us to follow and sit down is the epitome of rudeness and is why I don't like to come here or support this place. Yes, she can talk. She was just being rude. Their options are limited if you want variety. Most of their dishes are carbs or meat. There is very little variety when it comes to vegetables dishes or vegetables with meat. This is bad for a Chinese or Asian restaurant because Asian cuisine commonly has stir fried vegetables with meat. Flavors and textures were good though. Large salad and dessert bar. The chocolate fountain is a gross idea and I wouldn't touch it. Because there's no one monitoring it to keep kids from dipping hands in or sneezing in it or people double dipping.

There are many options for AYCE sushi, but this is one of the best places. You sit down and order per round. There might be a limit to how much can be ordered at a time, but I have not "hit the max". There is a good selection of food categories to choose from--appetizers, sushi (nigiri, rolls, sashimi), noodles, fried rice, and more. To top it off, the restaurant is connected to a mochi donut place. Get some Donuts for the road! Pros: They have weekend lunch prices Very consistent with food quality Ramen is included with the AYCE Great prices for kids Cons: The food service has been slower during peak times. It is handicap friendly, and fine for kids. They have an all you can eat sushi option (which we did), or you can just order by the roll. They also have poke bowls. There is a selection of beer and wine. The food is really fresh and quite tasty. We have been here before and have always enjoyed it, and would recommend it. The down sides; 1) The restaurant is pretty loud. There is no carpet or anything to absorb the sound, so it just bounces off the walls and seems very loud. It isn't horrible, but it could be an issue for those sensitive to loud noises. 2) Even though there are a lot of employees buzzing about, service is pretty slow. This trip we received our first order of food before we got our beverages, and after that we had to wait for each order of food. Our server seemed to be new, and was very apologetic, but when we have been there in the past service has always been a bit slow.

One waiter was responsible for nearly all the tables in the hibachi area, each seating eight people, making even the simplest requests - like a drink refill - nearly impossible. It was clear their main goal was to turn tables over as quickly as possible, rather than provide attentive service. We were celebrating my niece's 3rd birthday, and to their credit, they did a nice job acknowledging it. However, the restaurant felt very money-driven. If you're considering using a Groupon, *read the fine print carefully* - they refused to honor ours because it wasn't purchased 24 hours in advance, which felt unnecessarily petty. On top of that, a mandatory 17%+ service charge was added to the bill, despite the service not coming close to justifying it. A final concern: food safety. I noticed the chef using the same spatula to handle both raw steak/seafood and cooked noodles without cleaning it in between, which is a big red flag. Overall, it wasn't worth the hassle. There are better hibachi options out there. Oh, the owner/manager's strategy to have us return to use the Groupon didn't work, we requested our money back. Sorry not sorry.

Let's start with the obvious: it's a buffet. We're getting our own plates, our own refills, doing the whole "DIY dining" thing. Fine. But for that price, you'd expect at least decent food. Instead, it was bland, forgettable, and sitting somewhere between lukewarm and questionable. Now the part that really sealed it: as we were literally getting up to leave, an employee approached us and demanded a tip. Not suggested. Not politely mentioned. Demanded. Then another staff member came over, pointed at the receipt, and told me I needed to tip. I'm actually a generous tipper, happily so, when it's earned. But being confronted like that? That's not service, that's pressure with a side of audacity. I even tried to clarify, thinking maybe gratuity wasn't included and I misunderstood. I was told, "No, service is completely separate." Okay... then maybe make that crystal clear somewhere? A sign, a note, literally anything. I would have gladly run to my car to grab cash and come back if it had been handled respectfully. But after being cornered and told I had to tip? Absolutely not. If your business model relies on tipping, act like it. Don't ambush customers on their way out like they're skipping out on a bill. Between the overpriced, underwhelming food and the aggressive tipping situation, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while.
