Thank you Benihana for your generous portions and fun staff making a birthday celebration for all ages delicious and entertaining. It's been a few years since I've visited this location and I would come back. Courses will well spread out, chef used up all his tricks and my toddler daughter enjoyed them all. Now it's not Benihana without the garlic butter and fresh veggies. Thankfully the food was flavorful and enough leftovers for lunch the next days. Did you know they have souvenir mugs? Bathroom cleanliness does not correlate to the prices on the menu. I should have taken pictures. Changing station in men's bathroom was covered in layers of dirt and took half a pack of brand new baby wipes to "clean" before I washed it with soap and water. Came here for a bday lunch. 2nd time visiting Benihana, and this visit was pretty consistent with my prior one. They do offer a lunch special and the pricing was quite reasonable, especially relative to the dinner pricing. Ordered the hibachi chicken. It was actually a little dry, and I didn't love the teriyaki flavoring. I did try some steak as well which was a lot better, so if I was to return I would get that instead. The chef was fairly funny and he did a few cool tricks. Note that they do offer a great bday deal... believe it is $30 off. You need to sign up online and receive an email. Horrible experience! The chef was the only good thing about tonite. One of the waiters came by with the cart and ran over the sleeve of my jacket and ripped it. When I stopped him from causing even more damage he did not seem to care. I spoke to the Manager who stated the restaurant would pay for a new jacket but did not seem to care about collecting all the information. Lastly, when it came to splitting the bill 4 ways everyone received a different amount. I mean anyone with a phone can split a bill 4 ways pretty easily. Today was my first time trying Benihana. I've read reviews before so my expectations weren't high. We went on a Tuesday for lunch. The restaurant itself is very nice. It was super clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were spotless. We had to wait maybe 10 to 12 minutes before we were seated. The hostess was pleasant. Our waiter was being trained and he did an excellent job. He refilled lemonade without being asked. He paid lots of attention to our table. He made sure the kids had the children's chop sticks. I appreciated his attentiveness. Our cook was Emilio. He was great!! I see a lot of reviews speaking on how the food is tastelessand even my friend who I went with said the food is bland. Welllll, thank god for Emilio. Everything tasted great. He did a great job seasoning. We sat with a women who requested extra garlic butter on everything and I think that actually might be the key to having lots of flavor. It also could be that the place wasn't super busy so I don't feel like Emilio rushed to get through our seating. The lunch prices are great! No complaints. Portions we're very good. I hadn't been to Benihana for at least 25 years and thought it would be nice to bring my kids, as we all love Hibachi. We had a reservation so it did not take long to be seated. Once seated it took an extremely long time for anyone to take our order, and the restaurant was extremely loud. Once greeted I was a bit disappointed to find that you only get noodles or rice, not both, as is customary at our local Hibachi restaurants. Our soup and salad arrived and not a server was to be found for the next 30 minutes. I saw lots of employees and a manager walking around, but nobody stopped at our table. The soup was extremely bland and after multiple attempts to try to ask someone for soy sauce, I got up and walked around for 10 minutes trying to locate our waitress. By the time we were able to get soy sauce the soup was already cold. Our chef was very nice and put on a nice show, however the lack if service, length of waiting, not all meals coming with dessert, just isn't enough for us to want to go back. read more

As a person who loves hibachi, this location didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, especially the hibachi steak. The steak was seasoned well and was tender. The benihana mango lemonade tasted watered down, but their mojito was flavorful. The chef put on a good show and made sure it was interactive. He had a good sense of humor. Although it seemed to be a lot of people were present, the wait wasn't bad at all. We were seated fairly quickly. It did take a little bit of time to start preparing the entree, but I'm assuming it was because there weren't too many chefs that night. Overall, the ambiance was nice, and the staff was nice. But the women's bathroom was lacking in cleanliness a bit. They have a spacious parking lot with plenty of spots. If you want to get food to go, I would advise you to put the order in when you put your dine in order because prep time is 15-20 lintures. My friend and I were craving hibachi so we went to Benihana. As Asian food lovers and Asian people, this chain is definitely not the traditional experience. It hit the spot though. Don't come here if you're looking for really good Asian food. Come here if you want the chain hibachi experience that is not at all authentic, very salty, but is also the dinner and a show hibachi experience you've been craving. The chef was very cool and made fun animals and designs because there was a kid at our table. We were supposed to visit a different Hibachi spot yesterday (Thursday), but opted for Benihana because my date and I really enjoyed our last time here (2021). It was crowded upon our arrival and were told we'd would have to wait 25/30 minutes. We only waited 15 minutes. I don't mind eating with people I don't know and thankfully we had an excellent group, and a birthday at our table as well. The food was amazing as was the gentleman who cooked it. Soo, we got here and maybe waited 5 minutes to be seated. Thankful for that. I hadn't realized we'd be seated with others, but that was ok because they were kind people. But didn't taste it. So I asked for me and when she brought out the bowl I just immediately was turned off. Looked...not appealing so I didn't consume it. The spicy fried rice was ok. I could taste what I thought was a familiar hot sauce. I wasn't paying attention when the chef made my bowl of rice. My other guest had hibachi chicken with chicken fried rice. They enjoyed it. They also got a side of corn and zucchini. All of our orders came with a soup or salad. Only one of us ate the soup. I sent my Salad back because they doused it with what appeared to be Russian dressing and k didn't want that. The waiter was ok. Not mean, not overly nice but she got the job done. The chef was very bubbly. The ambiance of the place is moderate. Nice amount of space between each table. Not too loud and not too quiet either. I enjoyed trying the food here. This was my 6-7 hibachi experience, and we had high expectations for Benihana's. Unfortunately, Benihana's brand name seems to carry the success of this restaurant, as there was a line of folks waiting to be seated. Let's start with the good: the decor is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is decent. They also have a nice fish tank that you'll only see if you're going towards the bathroom, seems kind of pointless... I tried their seafood Diablo, and exotic mojito, and they were great. If you're health conscious, hibachi is not for you, as the amount of sodium and globs of butter used are overkill. Now, here's what needs improvement. Although the decor is nice, it is outdated. The bathrooms are what I would expect to find at a fast food restaurant. Benihana's could learn a lot from McDonalds and Chick-fil-a. I believe my review may be specific to this location only, but I find it hard to believe there were not enough Covid funds for building improvements. I recommend the management walk across the street to seasons 52 and the Cheesecake Factory, and learn from them. Our hostess was swift, and although we were waited on appropriately, after dinner we were rushed out of there, not offered a dessert, or coffee, we were presented with the check. Although I understand staff shortages, this is a service business and the issue falls on management. Folks go to Benihana's for the entertainment and less for the food, I mean, let's face it the meat is often dried out, the fried rice too salty, but who cares, as humans we're fascinated by fire and chefs throwing around utensils. I'm not sure if our chef was over worked, but his attire was stained and dirty, there was a lack of conversation, as he looked as though he just wanted to get done and move on. Again, this falls less on the chef and more on what management is doing to oversee and Motivate their staff. I'd recommend Benihana's look at a system similar to enterprise rent a car, where a customer service score determines incentives for the staff, and management. Although I'm always open to revisiting a location, I don't see myself visiting this location again until I hear of renovations to the building. With our check coming in at $425, I expect better, and there are other places I can spend that kind of money for a far greater experience. I strongly recommend the management take a look at the hibachi experience on Royal Caribbean ships, specifically oasis of the seas. Although they do not allow fire, this was the best experience for hibachi I have witnessed. read more

Loved my time here, our server Logan was great and very attentive. We had the Blue Ocean and the Mai Tai for drinks. The kids had a Dr Pepper and a berry blast smoothie. Also the chicken and steak combo off the kids menu. We had 3 Steak and Shrimp combo hibachi meal with chicken fried rice and I also had upon noodles. We had the spicy beef dumplings, the shrimp tempura and the soft shell crab apps. Everything was so delicious. By the time the chef finishes cooking our dinner, I was halfway stuffed from the apps and drinks lol. The best part it the fact of knowing your going to have leftovers that you get to heat up later on and then curl up with yummy food and a good movie.
