After your gorgeous culinary experience, you will be presented with little glasses of Tia Maria and cream. We are always invited then by Mia to have another drink on the house. This is a large restaurant but most nights it is packed out. On Friday nights he has Elvis along to sing. At the end of the evening most people are up dancing. On Sundays there is a buffet but you can still order off the main menu. I totally recommend this place, you will be given a big warm welcome and then be in for a true curry feast. The prices are reasonable too. They do takeaways and you will always be offered a drink when you come to collect, there is a discount on takeaways. You must try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

We checked in on the lady with the tablet on the right side of the entrance. The left side is for walk ins. Super long line even at 5pm. But they were handing out small glasses of chai and something else. Anyway, the reservation line is short and they sat us right away. We wished we could have sat at the patio - it's covered. We went there to get a takeaway and parked in their own customer car park which allows 30 minutes waiting. They took 40 minutes to cook our food . Since we have been terrorised by a cowboy parking company they employ demanding £170 for exceeding the 30 minute parking time (which was caused by the restaurant themselves taking 40 minutes to make the food) we have complained twice about the parking situation but they clearly don't care as we are now getting threats of high court etc from the parking company. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS AS YOU WILL SUFFER THE SAME FATE . There are plenty more Indian and Chinese restaurants in the area and much better as the food here isn't particularly good. The owner is Bengali, and encouraged us to try some unusual dishes from his home that don't appear on the cookie cutter menus of so many other Indian restaurants. The food was delicious-full of flavor, lacking in the unpleasant overuse of oil, cream and salt so common in other places. While you can sample some out of the ordinary regional dishes, classic favorites are also available and prepared superbly well. The only dish we didn't think met the otherwise high standard was the samosas-pastry was too hard and needs to be more flaky and tender.
