Well, after going regularly for several years we've had the last 2 visits turn sour as the staff argued with us over the bill!
If you go to the Sunday buffet be aware that you'll be charged £6.50 for bringing a child, even if he or she doesn't eat anything (our son won't eat Indian food despite our best efforts!). And if you ask to have this charge removed from the bill, the manager prefers to argue with you in front of the other customers rather than remove it.
However the food is really good, we loved it but sadly don't feel comfortable going back any more. Give it a try, but know in advance about the charge for children, so you can avoid embarassing exchanges when the bill comes.
Oh, and unbelievably, the magician told a racist joke to our shocked table when he learned some of us were from Bradford. But we can't blame the restaurant for that they (his INDIAN employers for goodness sake!) employ him in good faith.
A sad end to our 4 years of going regularly: my wife had her last meal here before giving birth to the same son who was charged £6.50 we'd heard spicy food can kick-start labour and it seemed to work!
EDIT: Actually after re-reading this review I have to make one thing clear to be fair. They did remove the £6.50 charge from the bill, but only after we 'discussed' it for several minutes! read more
