It's not everyday you can order a little tray of goodies in a bar and discover a kind of food you've never had before! Those mushroomy looking things are SEA WHELKS (bourgots) - a kind of sea snail. Ever so sea-salty and the texture is chewy like squid. Delicious. SMOKED SCALLOPS?! Divine texture and delicate sweet taste. The rillettes were incredible. So was the smoked salmon. A smear of butter or cream to put on the bread along with the smoked salmon is the only thing I would add to this dreaminess. The price was very good for such elegance, around $24.

My friend and I were surprised when we walked in that it was completely empty... until I realized there was a second room that was full of windows that let in a ton of sun - that's where everyone was! It was too cold that day to be outside, but there was also an outdoor patio area. Our first server was pretty friendly. He told us which beers were part of the day's Happy Hour deal ($5 for a pint!) I ordered a cider because I'm not a beer person, and it was quite good! My friend and I shared a poutine, which was delicious! The gravy wasn't too heavy and the cheese curds tasted great. At that point we were given another server. (Shift change maybe?) The new server wasn't as friendly and came infrequently and in the other room majority of the time, so we had to flag them down for things like water refill and the bill the times they did come back to sunny room. Overall a quaint modern brewery spot. It was a chill day and not too busy, but I enjoyed how we didn't feel rushed and we were able to stay for a good amount of time.

None of the food is healthy, but sometimes you need some grease. It's also very good grease. I had a flight of 6 draft beers. All good. One was a sour beer. At first I was scared if it. With each sip I said to myself this is weird. This is strange. Then this is good. Now I kinda like it. I really like that the fish and chips can include three different kinds of fish. Cod, haddock and salmon. Even more impressive was the bun on my fish sandwich. The outside was crispy and the inside soft and colored red! Amazing bun. The servers are nice, it has a small coed bathroom that lets the ladies have a peek at guys trying to be firemen! I highly recommend, tabarnak, ostie cross Siboire!

It looks really stunning - everything looks new and clean with plenty of seating in the large dining room. When we arrived it wasn't too crowded and were seated towards the side of the dining room close to the windows. At its heart, this is a brewery and they have a good selection of craft beer. We were given the option of beer if we wanted to pay on our own, but we were really there for poutine which was included in the tour. I'm not much of a beer person so I passed, but did partake in the poutine. It was pretty good, though I wouldn't say it was too noteworthy. I have now had poutine from several places in the city, and this would be middle of the road for me. It was tasty and quality, but nothing too exciting. I don't really fault them though, as poutine is not the star of the show here. Service as good - overall I had a fine experience at Siboire. I need to return to explore more of their menu - and possibly a beer.

The place was half empty (strange for a big sunny day during summer but it was like that everywhere). The service was exactly like it always been, very slow. I wasn't the only one wondering where it was. The first time we saw him was for the drink, about 15 min after sitting. He came back about 15 minutes later with the drinks and we ordered a nacho to share among us. Once, the nacho arrived, we ate it. And then waited another 15 minutes for someone to clean the table. We haven't ordered the main course yet. Took another 10 min to order. And once we ate, we didn't see it at all. We asked for the bill when he came back about 30 min after we finished eating. So yeah, service is bad as usual. I remember that in the past, to get good service, we had to sit at the bar. As for the food. The food here is ok. If you like flamekeuche you'll probably like it. I ordered a 3b burge which is a burger with meat cooked with beer sauce. It wasn't bad, could taste the beer in the beef which is good. It was properly cooked and garnish. I'm just unsure for the price tag on it versus all offering near. A friend took the double smash burger. There was one big meat party, nearly as big as mine. But we could see the sauce oozing which is nice. She did like it, but it wasn't a smash. Compared to the smash I had at another location (was a real smash but looked nothing lime what she got), this was a better burger for sure. It did give me the idea to order it from here. The ambiance is typical of a sports bar pub restaurant. Lots of tv, when there's an event you got the audio. It is a nice place to lounge.

For food, had the off-menu Poutine - a basic layering of fries, gravy and curds. The cheese curds were large but chewy and the fries could have been warmer.
