I could have lost sight in that eye except for Dr Reisman seeing me right away without an appointment. Dr Reisman is an outstanding, competent, capable and trustworthy physician. Those who wait for a time past their appointment may experience that because Dr. Reisman is helping someone like myself. If I must wait past my appointment time I will remember whenI needed and received emergency help. Also, the office is clean, bright, well organized and all people there are friendly. He had so many great reviews that my husband and I decided to go and meet with him even-though we live one hour away. We felt that with so many amazing reviews, we needed to meet with him and decide for ourselves if this is "our" doctor. Making the decision to have cataract surgery was no easy decision. I thought about long and hard. However, since I found that my vision was increasingly getting worse and everything was getting blurrier, to the point that I couldn't see clearly out of my right eye because when I was watching TV, for example, it was in "double vision". After meeting with him, both my husband and I found him to be very knowledgeable, informative, professional and had a wonderful bed side manner. He diagnosed me to have two cataracts, one in each eye. He scheduled me for both surgeries one month apart starting with the worst eye first. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to have cataract surgery and chose Dr. Medford as my surgeon. I was extremely nervous on the day of surgery, but while the nurse was prepping me, Dr. Medford came in to see me and saw that I was quite anxious. He then went on and reassured me with his kind words telling me that he's performed this procedure many times and to try and relax. The surgery was textbook perfect. When I went in for my follow up visit the next day, he told me that it went very well and gave me further instructions on how to continue taking care of the eye so it heals perfectly. I then saw him again one week later, at which point he evaluated me and recommended that I wait to operate on the other cataract because in his words "it was necessary yet". I really appreciated the honesty and care. I highly recommend Dr. David Medford, not only because he is he an amazing surgeon, a kind person, but a very honest doctor as well. It's a win-win. His patients welfare is his primary concern.

Dr. Ronald Sachs is rude, impatient, void of compassion, and so disrespectful to his patients AND staff! when asked to remove an object that IS OPTIONAL (and has been left out before) he refused and proceeded to hold her head and attempt to inject her eye anyway. she had to block him from continuing and then he RIPPED OUT the METAL CLIP in her eye (scraping her inner corner and top eyelid) and proceeded to accuse her of lying that he caused her pain. i'd like to add this is not the first time he's ignored the retraction of consent and behaved with no compassion or kindness. i genuinely pray for anyone else that visits this office to have a better experience because this was awful. remember to always check reviews, if we had maybe we could've avoided these terrible experiences.

They are VSP provider and were able to look up my benefits and accurately tell me my co-payments required and when my next contact benefit was available. However, they somehow missed that I also had a "contact fitting" co-pay and charged me $175 because, to quote the office staff, "no insurance company covers this type of exam." Expect the one insurance company you accept? Even after the insurance company paid them whatever the negotiate rate is, they wanted to charge me the difference, not just my co-pay. Steer clear of this doctor. They only want money and could care less about your health.
