I believe it was due to racial and general discrimination, and it was clear that favoritism drives everything here. Management and physicians create a "cult like" environment where only certain people are supported. If you're not apart of that inner circle, you're disregarded, disrespected, overworked, and eventually pushed out, no matter your work ethic. Your coworkers gossip with the manager and work against you rather than working as a team. I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Other reviews echo the same concerns - people leave quickly and describe the environment the same way. This place has a reputation for inappropriate behavior, discrimination, favoritism and poor leadership. Working here won't benefit your career; it will damage your professional reputation. Pros none- maybe . one Doctor Cons no HR, poor management, horrible PTO policy and RUDE head tech/surgical coordinator AS A PATIENT- good luck because you'll get told to shut up by the supposed head tech & you'll wait a million years because they overbook and don't have the space for it.

6-7-21 Had cataract surgery - different doctor and location…read more After 3 weeks of treatment to fix a problem with the surgery, Dr. Reisman identified my problem quickly, notified and arranged for the surgeon that did the original surgery to immediately, correct the problem. I could have lost sight in that eye except for Dr Reisman seeing me right away without an appointment. Dr Reisman is an outstanding, competent, capable and trustworthy physician. Those who wait for a time past their appointment may experience that because Dr. Reisman is helping someone like myself. If I must wait past my appointment time I will remember whenI needed and received emergency help. Also, the office is clean, bright, well organized and all people there are friendly. I strongly recommend Dr. Reisman and his associates and assistants.

I had initially gone elsewhere based on an advertisement that I had seen on tv. I was told by this other doctor that I was not a candidate for Lasik and I was very disappointed to hear that because I needed some sort of correction badly. I had gotten home and decided before I give up to get a second opinion. I chose Dr. Benedetto's office at random and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I should also note that I had my heart set on doing the surgery in Ecuador where I have another home and had a trustworthy doctor that could have done it for $1700. However, because the eyes are so vital and doctors in the US follow stricter guidelines, have better equipment, cleaner facilities, and are accountable to their patients, I came to my senses and realized that my eyes are too vital to take a chance with so I came to the realization that even though it cost more than double that amount it was a much smarter choice. So if you're thinking of getting some discount surgery in latin America, you should probably think long and hard on it. Anyways, I explained to them that this other doctor said I was not a good candidate and asked what they thought. They ran a number of tests on me that day and said things look good but that I should come back and do these tests again next week just to confirm. They spent ALOT of time examining me and it was beyond clear that they weren't about to tell me what I wanted to hear just to get some money out of me. I am very confident that they have my best interests at heart and are very honest people. It was at that point that I knew this was the place for me. In regards to the office, it is new, inviting, appealing to the eye, and the staff are very friendly. The Lasik equipment they use, I had come to learn, is the newest technology available and fully bladeless. The surgery was quick and painless. I had a little more discomfort than most people get on the evening of my surgery but in the morning I was as fresh as a daisy. Even though all of the warnings and literature state that many people get a "foreign object sensation" in the eye and frequent dryness or some other symptoms, I did not and still do not experience any of that whatsoever. To wrap it up, I am very happy with my decision to go with Dr. Benedetto and cannot think of a single bad thing to say about these folks.

It is nice going to a doctor that is not too big that you are just another patient. I went back a year later for an exam - and he treated me as if I have been in there a million times. Great bed side manner! Definitely recommend!
