Okay so yes we're thankful and glad to have been able to have our car running after all the hassle, the first time we took our car in was because it didn't pass emissions and needed the oxygen sensor replaced. So May 26th, 2016 we had taken it to Bending Wrenches and told them the situation of what needed to be done in order to pass emissions, which they then replaced the oxygen sensor and camshaft sensor which the total was $255.88. So we then took our car to get emissions done on it again and once again FAILED. We took the car back to Bending Wrenches and had given the paper from the emissions showing what needed to be done in order to pass emissions. Our car had been taken back for the second time that same day on May 26, 2016 and picked up on August 3rd, 2016. In between that whole time and I'm being completely honest, we were having to call constantly not everyday but once a week or every other week. We were not getting any updates whatsoever, that was the reason we were having to call often and that's when then my mother and father who is a mechanic from another state had to then call also to see what was going on. This was before we were told they were searching for the part that had broken off because they had said they weren't even sure what they were going to do about it in the first place? My mother was really concerned she had began to call after it had already been in the shop for over a month and she had said someone was coming to look at it? That was an update we didn't even here about. I had to get updates from my mother because they weren't even getting back to us the owners of the car? After some time they finally had said they were just going to order the part, which then took awhile again . I just didn't really understand why it took two and a half months for them to finally figure out how to replace the problem when we were willing to pay what ever it had took to just get our car back asap. I had specifically talk to Brian about the price and wanting to see if it would go up at ALL, because having to have them fix that extra broken part made me think it would be raised and he had said no it wouldn't effect the price at all it would remain the same. They called the day before saying it was finally ready to be picked up the next following day, my husband had went in to pick it up and their was an added $105.00 which was never mentioned the day before from the phone call we received. The total for everything was $1052.30 After driving the car finally it didn't take long after to have a leak in it, we had taken it to a different shop and we were told it's leaking antifreeze and the head gasket is going out. The speedometer was acting weird also which wasn't a problem before it got serviced from Bending Wrenches. It still didn't even pass emissions the second time we took it in , after all that work! So I'm not sure why Brian is saying it passed when in fact it did NOT. We have the emission paper showing on August 18th 2016, it was waived do to the fact that we put so much money in to it for service and it still not being repaired properly, It's the picture shown as my profile pic. It's pretty much a waste of money to put any more money in to it because to fix it, it would be more then what the car is worth. So here we spent all this money at Bending Wrenches to still have severe issues with it which we weren't told their were any other issues other then the fuel induction which we declined and it's now just parked. I was just stating a very honest opinion and letting other customers just be aware of our situation so it doesn't happen again. read more
