I will not bring my vehicle here again. I dropped it off for an oil change. They did an inspection and sent me pictures showing they disassembled a good portion of the vehicle to "inspect" it. Including a picture of my brake drum sitting on the concrete next to my vehicle. Along with the pictures I received a laundry list of everything that needs replacing including multiple items I recently had replaced. Down to the recommendation to replace my wipers which had been replaced three weeks ago. Their job is to do the work requested but try to scam you into doing things that don't need to be done to increase the store's bottom line. I called and insisted on only the service I booked for the day, for the price I was quoted. I will take it to a local small business in the future to get a more reliable service and better value. read more

I don't recommend this place. I was quoted an obscene price ($100 per bulb) to replace turn indicator lights, which I requested be done during an oil change. Except they didn't even tell me this -- I saw it on the emailed estimate (that they didn't mention at the counter). I asked Pep Boys next door who offered to do the whole job for $40. Adding insult to injury, they somehow managed to not be able to figure out how to close a hood. I saw it wobbling as I drove down the highway, and examined it when I got to the parking lot. They apparently broke one of the hood release levers and didn't want to tell me, so it never really closed. I can't recommend this place. I'm not even confident my oil was properly changed now. The GM is unethical, un empathetic and has no business being around other human beings. Don't believe me? Go check the ridiculous amounts of BBB complaints just this location has. I grew up miles away from here and at the age of 42 the presence of this location in our neighborhood disgusts me. My father and 4 of my brothers will never give Firestone another penny. Do not waste your time here! Go across the street to Bending Wrenches. They answer their phones unlike this location. They have courteous employees unlike this Firestone. They quote you realistic pricing and completion times and have an app you can see your bid on and accept and pay right in the app. The Firestone employees can never give an accurate bid, they don't answer their phones, always have a problem paying with the Firestone card. Wanted to update this with a 'Tip'... If you have a "newer car" and they quote you something outrageous for something like, say, a headlight, do yourself a favor and call a/the dealership for a quote instead. My 2012 Hyundai Veloster had a headlight out. I wanted to go at lunch and get it replaced. Called the Firestone near my work, and they told me it would cost $205 to replace it... a headlight. So I called the Firestone by my house to check and see if this was a legit price. They said that yes, that's correct because it's so difficult to get to the headlight. I called the Hyundai dealership nearest to my house to see what they would quote me. The bulbs (because of course you have to buy them in pairs) cost around $30, the labor, about $50ish. For a total cost of around $84. That's worlds different than $205, and they told me it really wasn't that difficult to replace. I ended up going to my boyfriend's brother, who knows cars, to see if he could replace the bulb. He replaced both bulbs, I watched him do it, and came to find out that I probably could've accomplished this task myself for the price of the bulbs. The moral of the story is ALWAYS get a second quote/opinion when dealing with places like Firestone, that will quote you the highest amount they can possibly get away with. Firestone in Arvada, CO. We purchased tires on April 24, 2022. Typically, we would use the Littleton, CO store on Belleview, but no one was answering at that store. $1,000 for tires. The wheels were badly scratched. They need touched up. Gouged one so bad we took it back and the manager agreed to replace the wheel. Just called to see when we can get that wheel put on. Andrew said they need at least two hours to do so. He hung up on me. I called back. Asked for an appointment so we won't have to wait so long. We already waited to get the tires put on. Had to go back because they damaged the wheels. He wouldn't make an appointment. Wouldn't commit to anything. It took two hours to do all four tires. Their mistakes. Frustrating. No quality, no customer service. They do not value a customers time nor their car. Today, I am here to get the wheel replaced. Fourth trip, I believe. Again, I couldnt make an appointment. Telling me two hours to do one wheel. Patrick is short and actually rude. I am waiting. Won't leave it here. The staff was careless in damaging my vehicle. They are noncommittal and dismissive. Great service! I brought my car in around 4PM on a Tuesday afternoon and I expected to hear back the following day because I knew it was late and they seemed busy. I got a pretty good idea of costs even when I dropped it off. He told me the diagnostics test would be $25 and they would call if any additional services were needed. We got a call around 5PM just to reiterate what was going on with my car. The mechanic wanted to hear what the issues were from me before he got in and inspected it to make sure the issues aligned with eachother. At 5:30PM, he called back with a full and more thorough diagnostics and pricing. After all was said and done, I paid $$$ for..... I had been having some pretty loud rattling for quite some time, so I was very much expecting to pay a decent amount. I was incredibly pleased with the communication, cost transparency, and low costs of my visit to this Firestone location. Never again!! I've never taken any of my cars here and again I understand why. I scheduled an alignment service for my car about a week or so before said appt, mainly due to the fact they had a good price special, location and decided to take a chance. Upon arriving a few minutes early for my appt, there was one guy at the front desk Andrew, and no one else in the store. He was on a call so I waited to check in. He was friendly at first upon check-in but clearly stressed taking calls, etc. He relayed to me it was going to take about 3 hours to get my car done which I already was not expecting, cause alignments usually never take this long. I told him I had to wait for it cause I didn't have a ride, then instead of being useful, he informed me I couldn't wait in their waiting room, that was their rules right now. Mind you again, no one else's waiting areas are closed right now, there is no one else there, and I am already standing in front of him, and he is mask-less. I'm starting to get annoyed, I ask where I am supposed to sit for hours on end? With nerve damage being a first responder for many years I can only walk or do so much. He didn't seem to care, started to get rude and I wound up walking out not getting my service done! The poor level of customer service and asinine thinking to not allow me to sit in a waiting room by the door is beyond me and the lack of care, even more ridiculous. Didn't seem to care about losing my business, so goodbye. Thankfully I found a different company providing a cheaper alignment and way better customer service! While driving home, my vehicle detected an extremely low tire pressure on one of my tires. I immediately drove to Firestone to see if they could help me. The vehicle services manager, Jimmy Ornelas, was amazing and got my vehicle in for repair even though I didn't have an appointment. Upon diagnosis, they determined I had a leak and repaired it within a matter of hours. Jimmy applied a warranty flat tire repair(road hazard) which resulted in my service being done at no charge! We have taken our vehicles over the years to this Firestone and have had nothing but the best service and customer care. We will continue to take our vehicles here. Thank you Jimmy! read more

It is with a heavy heart that I am blasting this establishment. My entire family has been going to this Firestone for over 20 years and considered the managers there to be our friends. Now none of that management is there anymore, some to retirement and some to changing shops, which I am not allowed to find out to which location they moved. My daughter went to have her brakes checked and they told her that she needed the rear pads AND rotors replaced on a car we have only owned for two years. No grinding, no trouble braking, nothing. Well, they replaced all that for over $1000 and proceeded to leave the brake fluid line unattached. Her brake lights came on the next day but they couldn't see her for four days and by that time there wasn't a drop left! She was driving home from work and had no brakes at all! Thankfully, she pulled into a Brakes Plus on the road to home and they said they could look at it in the morning. She could have been killed! Brakes Plus is the one who found the disconnected line and also that her front brakes needed new pads ONLY. They fixed her up for under $300. We sent all the documentation about the incident that we had from Firestone and Brakes Plus to the Firestone headquarters in Nashville because there was no email address to send them to nor would they answer their customer service line in Nashville. It has been 6 weeks since I sent it to them and no response. I have canceled my credit card with them and my daughter will do the same once she pays off this ridiculous charge for shoddy workmanship. That being said I was called by somebody to schedule an appointment for my 2019 Mercedes so he knew what car he was working on and what date, I pull up to the appointment this morning only to be told my car is too nice and they don't want to scratch my wheels changing my tires. DO NOT use Firestone for any service. Very Poor service. I had a 2:00 pm appointment at the location at 80th and Wadsworth, Arvada, CO. I arrived about 10 minutes early for the requested brake service PLUS I added an oil change on top of the brake service. The service rep, I won't mention his name here, took my keys and said they wouldn't be able to get my vehicle inspected until 3 - 3:30. He said he would call my cell number after the inspection. OK. That's a little annoying because I had an appointment, and it takes them 60 - 90 minutes to inspect the vehicle after the appt. I waited at a nearby restaurant until 4:30 for the call but NEVER received it. LAME. I had my wife pick me up and drive to the location and my vehicle had not even been moved AT ALL. So my SUV had an issue where my front tires wore down abnormally quick. Replaced the tires and was told it was an alignment issue. Firestone was able to get it in quick which was nice. It was also apparently too quick. They fixed the alignment but a couple weeks later we brought it to a dealer to check a clunking noise. They found a major safety problem where the car couldn't actually be aligned and, if a right turn was taken too quick, the wheels could actually come off. Both the dealer and my usual mechanics said there was no way that Firestone should have missed it. To firestone's credit they took one look at the paperwork and refunded the alignment. That's nice but it also doesn't make me feel any better that my family has been driving around in a death trap for three weeks. Edit: Firestone at the corporate level worked pretty quick to respond to my review and refunded the dealer diagnostic fee. It was a nice gesture. Doesn't excuse the major safety miss but I certainly appreciated the quick customer service response. read more

I refused to pay the increase so they charged me $20 and I left only to find a mysterious brand new screw inserted into the sidewall of my tire. It finally came time for some new tires and I chose this place based on a pricing quote I got online. I called this location to see if they had the tires I chose in stock and, although they didn't, they had them delivered within an hour. I brought the car by after work and the gentleman behind the counter was asking me some questions about the tires I requested and quickly realized I was a very uneducated tire consumer. He got me pointed in the right direction, got some different tires ordered up, and set an appointment for the next morning. The install took a little over an hour, but they had "Warlock" playing on the TV in the lobby, so the time passed quickly. Thanks to the expertise of the staff, I ended up with the right tires and at a lower price than what I had anticipated. My only advise would be to buy tires in summer or something...they mark them up quite a bit for procrastinating winter drivers like me. read more

This place is filled with incompetence! I brought my 2012 tundra in to have the fuel pump replaced. They took a diagnostic(charged me an hours labor for it) and said "the pump is fine we can't do anything for you, we dont know whats wrong." So I drive it home and the truck breaks down. I have my truck towed back, and guess what, the fuel pump was broke. Now iv paid them, payed the tow driver, and Firestone wants to charge me $600 for a $300 part they wont garantee will work. DO NOT GO HERE, IT'S NOT SAFE. I have had four (4) separate occasions where I got my car back and my tires were dangerously loose. One time, the day after service, my wheel was making a loud knocking sound. I pulled over at a local shop and they said my wheel wasn't attached properly. When I shared my concerns with the manager, he argued with me and basically called me a liar. It seems this location cannot perform even basic tasks. Two months ago my husband had his car serviced, and when he went to pick it up it had not been fixed. They apologized and ordered the new part (which was what he'd brought it in for). Then next day, they called and told him they'd ordered the wrong part. He ended up missing two workdays (Friday and Monday, because of their incompetence. If you're wondering why I keep going back, it's because this location is walking distance from my house, which makes it convenient, but I've officially lost my patience when last week, I when I had my tires serviced. The knocking sound began again immediatly, and today my husband and I drove it on I25. We pulled over the bolts were so loose we could turn them by hand. Seems to be a given that when I take my car into Firestone for an oil change, they are going to find a bunch more stuff wrong with my car. Today they told me I needed new rotors and even though my brake pads were still good, I would also have to pay for new pads because that was their policy. I took my car elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and was told that the rotors would eventually need to be replaced but that I should wait until I started noticing problems with the brakes. Horrible customer service. I had a tire patched and a full inspection done. I paid over $50 to have horrible service. I tried to pull my own tire out of the trunk with Andrew standing there watching. I had to say "it's really heavy or stuck can you try" before he helped pull it out for me. I was told it would be about a 4 hour wait which ended up being closer to 2. When I picked up my car he never went over my inspection. I had to ask are my brakes and oil okay? He responded with "yep" I asked again "so everything is good?" He said yes the only thing wrong is your low pressure light which should turn off soon. I paid and left to wake up to my tire flat again in the morning. Come to find out there was another hole in the tire not just one. They didnt check to make sure of that before they sent me on my way or get the hint that my tire pressure light was still on for a reason... I fill it up and make plans to have it refixed elsewhere. I called and told Andrew the situation and he said "not to argue but how do we know you didn't run something else over after leaving here?" I was astonished he even had the nerve to say that to a customer. Then said yeah come on in and we can take care of the refund. When I showed up for a refund he told me I had to show proof that I paid to have it re fixed elsewhere before they can issue me a refund. I think it's irreverent who or where re fixed my tire. The bottom line is they didn't do their job right the first time and exemplified horrible customer service. I would never return to this location. I now have to deal with disputing these charges through my bank. Save yourself the time, money and headache and choose another location. By the way firestone, discount tire doesn't charge anything to patch a customers tire. Maybe y'all should take some advice from their customer service. I am not one to normally complain, but I work management in the customer service and financial industry and the behavior that was presented was absolutely unacceptable.
