I called the service department 8 times before somebody answer the phone to get a appointment for my pickup.

I bought my truck 4 months ago for $25k, 4 months land less than 8k miles later, a whole lot of things including the wheel bearing, Axle, and brakes all failed at once causing over $2k in damage and counting. So the Bender GM World Body shop in Clovis had our car for 5 MONTHS to "fix" the damage done when we got in an accident Not only did they have it for an unnecessarily LONG amount of time We had to pay $2,000 to get our OWN VEHICLE BACK and it's only been about 3 weeks since but The right front wheel had been squeaking and making strange sounds so when we brought our car in for an oil change here in Santa Fe we mentioned the squeaking and whatnot. Come to find out the man we trusted with fixing our vehicle for over FIVE MONTHS Did not install any of the parts properly which has caused wear and weathering where there should be NONE Should be like new! He used old parts and the Santa Fe shop said if we had drove on it any longer as it was With a loose control arm and the wheel nearly COMING OFF. We drive at high speeds every day to get to work We would have rolled our car and died!!! read more

I took my 2018 Camaro ZL1 to Bender Chevrolet to get my front splitter replaced due to a mishap with a pothole. When I first talked to their parts department they told me the part would be delivered unpainted. Since I was told the part would be unpainted I then asked them to arrange with the body shop to have it painted (without specifying a color). After the new part arrived I took my vehicle in to have it installed and return to my Camaro having a blue front splitter when it was originally black. Seeing that the splitter was the wrong color, I then wen't in to the body shop to inform them that it was the wrong color, When I did this the body shop manager yelled at me saying I told him to paint it that way. With a calm voice I decided to tell him it was ok so long as it got fixed and I have the correct color (black) splitter on my car. He then agreed to order another front splitter and apologized for his behavior. After talking with the body shop manager he informed me that the part actually arrives already painted the correct color and that there was no need to paint it in the first place. When I finally bring my vehicle back for a second time, they install the correct color of splitter but then proceed to charge me for painting it the wrong color in the first place. After displaying an unprofessional behavior and yelling at a customer I would assume the least the dealership could do is not charge the customer for their mistake. Secondly, when I received my vehicle back the interior was in poor condition. My floor, as displayed in the picture was covered in muddy boot prints. I can understand if my floor mats get a little dirty but mud is unacceptable and the customer should not have to clean their carpets after getting serviced by a dealership. read more

Went a year and a half ago, they were great and I wrote a 5 star review. I went this past week and it was the WORST experience I've ever had at a dealership. Summary of issues: Bender service rarely answers the phone during business hours and don't know mush of anything when they do answer.... Every other question I ask they have to put me on hold to ask someone else. Bender doesn't keep people at the service desk. Waited ten minutes for someone to even come in. After I dropped of my car at 9am, they were supposed to call with an estimate. After receiving NO CALL, I called. After 4 no answers, I reached a person who couldn't find me in their system. They 'found' my car and hadn't checked it yet. Fifteen minutes later they called and said it would be $410 for service but couldn't explain the issue nor impact of it to me. I asked to see a formal documented estimate. The next day I got a hand written paper saying the part was 40 and they were charging me 370 for labor and fees. Their hourly labor is 100 and they charge a ridiculous number of random fees. Also, they told me twice that they do NOT CHARGE BY HOW LONG IT ACTUALLY TAKES. They charge based on the highest estimate of time. So they were charging me 3 hours of labor for what should only take 45 minutes. In addition, I ended up paying 109 just for the 5 minute computer diagnostic. Because I decided to take it to a fair mechanic. Now the biggest issue.... They never even looked at my car!!!!! The new mechanic got the same diagnostic error but after physically looking at the issue in question, very clearly saw the sensor was not broken but not reading due to a completely separate part. So bender would have charged me for a part and labor that was unneeded and I can safely assume would have charged for for a second service call when the issue remained. I can assume this because another customer was siting there with a similar problem. They 'fixed' something that wasn't broken and she paid for a second service call only for them to break it further. DON'T GO HERE! My friends recommended me to. Forrest tire down the road. So far, much better service! read more

Took my truck in on Wed to have an oil leak looked at. They called later in the day to tell me the problem and to provide a quote. The associate said they had all the parts and could be done in one day or less (5 hr job max). On Thursday at 8:30 AM I went by the shop and told them to go ahead and fix it. They said it would be ready Friday afternoon. At 3:00 PM on Friday I called to check the status and they said it would be ready in a few hours and they would call me. At 5:45 PM I called again and they said it would not be ready until Monday since they are closed on Saturday. So they are going to have my truck for 6 days for a repair that they have the parts for on day one and would take 5 hours. The associate I spoke to late on Friday said the gentleman who is knowledgeable about it went home for the day and failed to call me. She had to call him at home just to get the status. So here I set without my truck and having to track down the status all because the guy failed to do his job and call the customer. -Doug read more

Service here is awesome. I was stranded in Clovis after an accident while driving to LA and they worked their asses off to get me back on the road as soon as possible. They worked with my insurance company to make sure only top factory parts were used. Robert was the body shop expert assigned to my vehicle and when he was done, the car looked as good as when it left the showroom. Dre, David, and the manager Steve were always on hand to answer my many questions and make sure I was always up to date on where they were in the process. Very happy with the experience. read more
