I want to shout out and extend my sincere gratitude to the incredible employee named Jose, from Bendave Towing, who recently assisted me on 7/21/26. Despite the fact that towing my car was part of his job, he went above and beyond what I expected. Two previous tow companies in the area had declined to help, and I was feeling pretty discouraged at this point, but he took the initiative and successfully picked up my vehicle in North Hollywood and delivered it safely to the Mercedes Benz of Calabasas dealership. His hard work, dedication, and pride in his job truly stood out. It's rare to encounter someone who not only performs their duties well but also demonstrates genuine care and perseverance. I am infinitely grateful for his professionalism and effort. Thank you, Bendave Towing, for employing such hardworking and dependable people. You've earned my trust and appreciation. Great job! read more

I'd give them zero stars if I could. They took over 4 hours to tow my truck after we broke down on the freeway. They showed up with a tow that could not tow my truck. They said they would come back with a flat bed in 30 minutes. Their dispatch told me they were 30 minutes out multiple times. They never showed up. My pregnant wife and dog were stuck in 100 degree weather on the side of the highway for a total of 4.5 hours. I was ultimately picked up by Hadley tow service. Save yourself the time and call Hadley. These guys are horrible. read more

If I coukd give zero stars I would. The owner of this company is a horrible person. He is a reckless driver and aggressive. He drove across oncoming traffic and 2 turn lanes to almost take out the front of my truck with his flat bed truck. He proceeded to brag about how he owns the truck so I cant complain on him and flipped me off and called me a bunch if names. I would advise that no one contact this company for towing assistance. Seeing how he acts and behaves on the road tells me that your vehicle is NOT safe with this company and if hes that kind of a person on the road I cant imagine that hes an honest man that diesnt rip people off. read more

Jose was super careful, respectful & professional! He brought my 1964 Volvo P-1800 from North Hollywood to my garage, and my 1960 Alfa Romeo Guilietta Speciale from my garage to North Hollywood. Trusted him with my very special cars...treated them like his! Highly recommend! read more

My roadside assistance provider assigned BenDave as a provider for me when I got 2 flat tires. Shortly after, when I received the ETA, I called them to let them know we might have an issue with the timing as I was told the dealership closes at 9 and locks their gates. At first they sounded helpful and said they would see what options they had, and we ended the call cordially. I got an automated call about 5 minutes later that they were cancelling the roadside assistance. I was given the option to decline the cancellation, which I did. I then tried to call them with new information that I'd received directly from the dealership that I would be able to drop my car off regardless. They did not pick up my calls, and I found out about 30 minutes later that they cancelled the tow anyway. Overall poor communication, not there to help, while creating a false sense of hope. Do not recommend. read more

Allen is the best tow truck driver Ive ever had! great service. Super kind guy who made sure I was good before he left. Made my day.

I was stuck in downtown Los Angeles last Friday around 3:30 PM with a dead battery and no jumper cables. I called Bendave Towing after seeing them on Google, and I'm so glad I did. David (the driver) arrived in under 20 minutes--faster than I expected for rush hour. He was super friendly, explained everything clearly, and even offered to test the battery before towing. Turns out the battery was totally dead, so he towed me to my mechanic a few miles away without any hassle. What really stood out: the flatbed truck was clean, he wore a uniform, and he even had water bottles in the cab for stranded drivers. I've dealt with sketchy tow companies before--this was the opposite. Hope I don't need them again, but if I do, I'll definitely call Bendave first. read more

I had a hassle free experience with James, the tow truck driver. He made me feel very confident with the outcome of my car. He is super nice and got my car taken to my home scratch free and even diagnosed what the problem was that caused the leak. Thank you so much James!! You are a gem!! read more

BenDaveTowing &Transportation was definitely a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dismal day. The driver, Victor had a "can do" attitude and he did solve my car problem. They also arrived promptly, did the work efficiently and was polite, kind and patient with me. I appreciated Victor's professionalism and empathy. I would definitely call BenDave Towing & Transportation again! read more

This was one of the best of experiences I've had with a tow. When I spoke with Luis, the dispatcher, I immediately felt at ease. He was able to balance being professional on the phone with efficiency, something I've found that other dispatchers with other tow companies struggle with - he also seemed to give a sh*t (I know - shocker, right?!). He coordinated everything on his end with Edgar upon arrival, and my experience with Edgar was equally as smooth. He was friendly and efficient. Very pleasant experience from start to finish - I'd highly recommend BenDave should you need a tow. You'll be taken care of. Many thanks again Luis and Edgar! read more

I was almost side swiped by driver who was speeding. I'm not sure why. He was towing a car, so hopefully, that person's car gets to its destination. But it was scary as a passenger seeing this tow truck cutting us off on my side, and my driver had to quickly step on the brakes while on the freeway. No company should allow their drivers to drive almost 90 mph. (I know it was almost 90mph because we were going 80mph.) Especially while towing someone's car. At least the car was on a flatbed. I did call the company right away. The man asked if it was a specific color truck. I told him yes. He said he knew exactly who it was and that he would talk to him. Now my concern is if you knew exactly who it was and you would talk to him then this seems to be an everyday occurrence and the point of talking is now over. read more

So I cant believe my experience with this tow service. It's 1am and I am in a rental car and have a flat tire with no spare. I call the roadside assistance and they tell me BenDave towing will be there at the latest 90 minutes from now but it should be sooner. An hour later a tow truck pulls up and I'm like that wasn't so bad. He pulls in front of my car I get out and started packing my stuff because the rental company informed me he would take the car and I would have to find another way home. I'm done and look up and he hasn't gotten out of the truck. Then I kid you not he drives off. I call roadside assistance which in turn calls BenDave and they say the tow truck driver had been followed by another tow truck earlier in the evening and he didn't feel safe doing any jobs in that area of town!! I said your client called you and sent you all of my information so you know it's a legit call. Can he come back. He said let me call and ask. Twenty minutes later no call so I called him and he says I'm sorry but he doesn't feel comfortable doing the job. I googled and they are 8 minutes away in Burbank. Did I also mention I am in Los Feliz not exactly the most dangerous place to be in LA. If you have another option don't waste your time with the company. In case you were wondering I am still here at 5am waiting on a tow. read more

To whoever is reading this. I'm asking you from the bottom of my heart to never call this company. As of now I can't say any detail because I am moving forward with legal action but let's just say not only are they rude, they are very verbally abusive and don't care to be careful when taking your car, they literally can care less. I would rather leave my car to get smashed down instead of having to meet with anyone from this company. Please please please be aware read more

The guy was rude drove very fast. He also scraped the front spoiler of my car total idiot

After having a stressful unexpected adventure with a broke down car everything quickly turned around after getting the help from Ben at Ben Dave Towing . 15 minutes after our request for help he arrived with a friendly attitude and was efficient from start to finish . Before I turned around we had already made it home and out of the emergency without breaking a sweat . I can't tell you how nice it was to speed back to normalcy before we could blink our eyes . From the second he arrived everything went from tense uncertainty to Peaceful air and we are so grateful to be done with such a stressful situation so quickly . I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for efficient honest and reliable help. read more

WORST company from start to finish! Especially Sergio. Had them sent through my insurance to change a flat - arrived 2 hours later than scheduled, driver Sergio was Cheeky on the phone and Rude in person, expected me to drive on a complete front flat down a steep hill because his car was too big and he didn't want to walk (or Work), then REFUSED to do the service! Called my insurance back and half an hour later I had my tire Fixed with a smile by another company! read more

I reached out to BenDave towing when my car broke down on the freeway. They responded quickly and helped me through my stressful situation. Their staff was very friendly and answered all my questions immediately. Highly recommend them! read more

Tow driver from NC was really insulting and had a short-fuse the whole time. At one point he demeaned me and then another time when he unloaded my SUV, he noticed it was partially backed up into a handicap parking stall and when I noticed it he said, "Too late I asked you if you're sure you want it there," stating as he unhooked the jumper cables to the car's battery. I made complaint to my insurance company also. This is the most rude and unfriendly tow company I've ever had to deal with. In my opinion and based on my personal experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. read more

Wish I had gotten the name of the tow truck driver who assisted me. He was top tier! They arrived within an hour, the driver was so patient and friendly. He did all of the heavy lifting (literally) and loaded my car in about 10 minutes. I received a text confirmation that my car was on the road and a text when it was dropped off at the mechanic! Highly recommend this towing service if you're in LA. read more

They were super friendly and professional. Towed my car and gave me a ride, no problems.

I booked my towing through StateFarm and initially they sent a tow company and the first company said I needed a flat bed, somehow StateFarm sent besage with a similar truck... David helped tow my car out of a very complicated spot and I did not need to order a new tow/ flatbed! I was extremely happy with my service and definitely recommend David! He transported my car just before it started to rain! Yay! Happy holidays! read more

I was referred to them last night through my auto insurance policy. The driver arrived earlier than estimated, was really kind, and knew was he was doing- he worked so fast! My car was in the most awkward spot in an In n Out parking lot when it broke down and the driver handled it with ease. Sometimes getting a tow can be awkward because the driver is unfriendly or is rushing and you're already stressed out, but this driver was really nice. His car was very clean and he drove me and my dog home, parked my car, and sent me on my way. I didn't pay out of pocket because it was through insurance but I'd recommend calling these guys for an affordable tow with an experienced, efficient driver. Thanks guys! read more

Was in a collision in a rental car and didn't want to get on the freeway to exchange it at the rental place due to the damage. Rental car company said they would be sending a tow truck and the driver would let me ride along to the airport rental location to get a new car. When the driver arrived he was polite at first but when he realized I was supposed to ride with him he quickly turned aggressive. He said that he would not be taking me no matter what. I told him he couldn't have the car if I wasn't riding along but he wouldn't even let me finish my sentence and kept cutting me off. He called his supervisor and said I don't want to take the car. He told me dispatch would send me another driver that can let me ride in the cab and left. Waited a while and called the supervisor to find out they had no intention of sending another tow and I was going to wait there forever. Both the driver and supervisor were not good at communicating, they both were stressed and consequently rude also. Ended up driving the damaged vehicle all the way to the airport. When you need a tow it's already a bad situation, you would think the people they send to help had the situation handled. Good thing I was already at a safe location. Can't imagine if they just left me on the street at an accident site. Can't trust these guys, wouldn't recommend. read more

There are many tow truck companies to choose from, but I only use BenDave. Do not!! I repeat DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! My partner was involved in a 4 car pile up that left us having to tow our vehicle in. It already took them 2 hours to get to me. Just to inform me that "His shift was up" and that he had to take my car to the tow yard wait till his night guy gets in it was 6 when he got to me, them drop off my car latest would be 8pm, he DID NOT get that approved my my insurance company later to find out it's actually against them to do such a thing. Because now we can not track our vehicle leaving us in a bigger situation by not knowing how long or where my car is. We would call multiple times to figure out the location because shops usually close at 6/6:30 the latest I own the shop it's being taken to, so I had my employee stay later till 8 like he said it would be there by. 8:30 rolls around still no sign of the driver 8:45 still nothing... I let my employee go home because at this point it's ridiculous that I had to wait that long. Then it's 10pm I get one miss call which I call back right away to be told " the driver is there and has been waiting" No one is answering!? Screaming at us mind you we also just got released from the hospital all phones are dead.. no compassion at all! Said that's not my problem, I replied with, you have been waiting?!?! I've had a guy out there since 6 waiting for you 4hours! To drive 20min away? Come on. On top of that we would call to ask for updates to make sure someone is there , just to be harassed, disrespected and flat out hung up on because it was "Not there problem" how is this not your problem when you have my car??? I'm confused. On top of that it's now 10pm and my car was finally dropped off.. TO THE WRONG LOCATION! By far the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I will file a formal complaint with the BBB. This company should not be in business at all! And if you thought about using their services, DONT. read more
