At the suggestion of a friend, we scheduled appointments at DermaSpa for them. When scheduling, I told them that my youngest seems to be bravest and so we took an AM appt for her and then a PM appt for my oldest. 1st appointment was pretty flawless and we left with smiles! In the afternoon, we dealt with a lot more tears and anxiousness. Kristi was SO patient, kind, and reassuring and we eventually got both ears done and she is just as happy. Thank you Kristi for hanging in there with a smile on your face and for going above and beyond to show "A" that it wouldn't be so bad!! I will happily send other friends your way!

This is completely untrue since I never received a phone call or voicemail message or letter in the mail. The ONLY communication from them regarding this was the letter saying I've been referred to their collection agency. Bend Dermatology charged me a $3.70 collection fee and I had to pay the collection agency $2.50 to pay the balance (which was $23.18) via credit card (checks are free) so I paid $6.20 more than the balance due to these shenanigans. Save yourself the inconvenience and incompetence of this business and look elsewhere. I should have looked at Yelp before making an appointment with Bend Dermatology as the low ratings (that are well earned) would have caused me to go somewhere else. BTW, my PCP referred me to Bend Dermatology so the next time I see her, I'll let her know that this is a disservice to her patients.

When all I wanted was a phototherapy booth for my psoriasis - which btw she told me they had however they do not. My appointment had 3 men in my room - the Dr., nurse and a student from COCC while I was in my underwear and a gown. I felt violated as the Dr. Analyzed my backside when it came to him anyalyzing my front I said no but he still asked to see my chest. This use to be a great clinic but not anymore. My daughter and I have been with them for years, but…read morethey have become rude and very dis-organized. They seem not to care about their patients at all anymore. They don't return calls and the front desk and medical assistance blamed it on being short staffed. The medical assistance made me feel like it's my fault they are not doing their job. The office staff need to be retrained on customer service. Heidi Holmes was wonderful to me while I was there, but the disorganization, no call backs, no prescription being given to my daughter correctly and after months her face a complete breakout mess I am switching clinics. Sorry Heidi but my daughters face is a mess, and I have been calling you for days with no call back on what's happening with her treatment plan and then to be treated like crap by your staff is unacceptable to me. The lady at the front desk was as nice and helpful as anyone I have ever met, she had a great smile and made me feel like I was important. I filled out necessary forms. it wasn't minutes later the Dr assistant was calling me in, she was very knowledgeable about why I was there, that was very nice and she also made me feel important and very relaxed. I usually am very nervous when meeting dr but for some reason I was relaxed. Dr came in shortly and he too had taken the time to know why I was there, he took a look, was very good at explaining the problem and the solution. He also took time to look at my skin, He is a great communicator and Doctor. I am incredibly frustrated by a recent experience I had with Juniper Dermatology and Dr. Pivik's…read moreoffice. I had several age/sun spots treated with cryotherapy and was told that if any of the spots had not fully resolved after a month, I could come back for a touch-up at no additional charge. About a month later, I returned for a skin check and mentioned that several of the treated spots were still visible--in fact, they were darker than before the original procedure. Dr. Pivik performed the touch-ups during that visit. When I later received a bill for the second procedure, I called the office because it was not what I had been told to expect. The office manager told me that Dr. Pivik recalled telling me that only one spot would be touched up at no charge and that I agreed to pay for the additional spots. That conversation never happened. Had I been told there would be a $248 charge, I would not have agreed to the additional treatment. Instead, I would have reminded them that I had been told the follow-up touch-up would be complimentary if the initial treatment wasn't successful. After I disputed the charge, the office agreed to reduce it by half, leaving me responsible for $124. While I appreciate the partial adjustment, that's not really the issue. I'm disappointed that I was charged based on a conversation that never occurred and frustrated that the office did not honor what I was originally told. The experience left me feeling misled and has significantly diminished my trust in the practice.
