Doctor made a weird comment about porn within 2 minutes of entering the room. Super uncomfortable? I did a rhinoplasty consult and he just did an edit on the computer and it wasn't clean or able to be emailed to me. Dr Villano changed my life. I was referred to him for ENT services - nasal construction: deviated septum, turbinate reduction, and a cartilage graft for the bridge of my nose. (nasal, not sinus related ENT as his offerings have changed) Not only has my breathing improved 10 fold, but I had no bruising, minor swelling, and was back on my feet faster than expected. I also had a wonderful rapport with him and others in his office. He's personal and friendly (sharing tips on his recent family vacation), his office is clean and conveniently located. I was referred to Dr. Villano from my primary doctor because I've been having issues with my mouth/tongue/throat and we wanted a better look into my throat. The process went by really quick. Numbed up my nose, then went through my nose with a scope down to my throat. Not fun at all but still quick. Dr. Villano was very friendly and good at explaining the process (that always helps my anxiety with these things) and I really don't think I could have asked for anyone better. Hopefully I won't have to go through this again anytime soon, but if needed I wouldn't hesitate to come see Dr. Villano again! read more

I had been saving for years to get rhinoplasty and a chin augmentation. We went over the procedure that I wanted the bump removed from the bridge of my nose and that i wanted my chin augmented to bring it out further to make my profile less round. After the procedure I called to ask why they elongated my chin. After coming into the office they agreed it looked bad and removed it. I still have no idea how that was the result nor did they explain to me how that happened. My nose also still has a bump. I feel like there was no pride or quality to either procedure I received. Its been a few years now and I am still so disappointed everytime I look in the mirror. And ever since the surgery I snore loudly, like wake myself up loudly. Even my husband has stated I never snored before. And if I feel the bridge of my nose it feels seperated with gaps. read more

Horrible experience. I went to Villano MD for IPL on my chest for smoother, more even skin. I was badly burned, in horrible pain and left with scabs to heal that eventually left me with lines on my chest. I immediately returned where the esthetician felt horrible, promised me that they would make it right and it would be a slow, long process, as to not burn me again. I went in a few times for treatment, but Dr Villano was condescending and manipulative and tried to tell me that I got a good result. In the end, Dr Villano did not keep his word and simply offered me to pay to fix it or my money back from the treatment and said he's sorry I'm not happy with the result- as if I was the one with the problem. I was left with permanent lines on my chest, as you can see in picture and only got worse if I was in the sun at all. It's been a horrible experience and I simply wanted him to fix the damage that has been done. I went to Carey @ Dr. Villano's for micro-blading. I had tweezed my eyebrows pretty thin back in the day and the distance between my brows was to far apart. Carey was amazing! First she drew on what she thought I would want which was very detailed and took a good amount of time...she doesn't rush through any step. She numbed the area and started the micro-blading. I am almost 2 weeks out and I LOVE the results. NO MORE BROW PENCIL. I will go back in 4 weeks for a touch up that is included in the initial cost and I couldn't be more pleased! read more

I had been vacationing in Bend, Or during the August of 2013 when Bend Memorial Clinic discovered squamous cell carcinoma in my left cheek. After Mohs surgery, I required facial reconstruction and was first referred to Robert Quinn, MD. He chatted with me for 10-15 minutes, saying that he rarely does facial surgery and sent me to an ENT Michael Villano, MD for an evaluation. Important here was that Dr. Quinn charged medicare for $452 for this brief visit and by his own admission rarely performs this surgery while claiming he spent "almost one hour." Subsequently, I filed a complaint with medicare for upcoding to no avail. With assurances from Bend Memorial Clinic, Dr. Villano performed facial reconstruction on my left cheek while I sat in his office back room. He offered me no antibiotics and released me with no gauze (bandage) to cover a weeping cheek. Immediately after the surgery, I drove back to Bend Memorial Clinic for assistance in applying a bandage. The facial reconstruction by Villano was very disappointing. After nearly four years I have been left with a prominent scar at the z-plasty and have had multiple appointments with Dermatologists for consideration of recision. In addition, I had almost immediately developed left eye problems on the same side of the cheek surgery and have visited a number of Ophthalmologists including several at the Procter Institute at UCSF. After I informed Dr. Villano about the complications of my surgery, he immediately responded by withdrawing from my care ( in writing) without explanation. Then, three weeks later, Dr. Brewer, of BMC followed suit, again without explanation. I consider these actions tantamount to abandonment without cause. To clarify, this if for the ENT side of this clinic, they weren't available on Yelp...same people though, beware. This place seemed nice and the people friendly at first...but many problems arose. For one thing, the doctor literally talked about how tired he was and how little sleep he got while he was cutting open my face. He was also surprised I wasn't on antibiotics, which I had called the day before trying to get but his staff that I spoke with never called me back even though she guaranteed she would. Then nobody contacted me about my results (I was waiting for biopsy and culture reports etc), so after three weeks I called them and played phone tag for days. I am a busy person, but they are the ones running a business and should be available to speak with their patients. After all, I was not asking for much, just a follow up on my results that nobody had gotten back to me about. The front desk staff was very rude, it was obvious she was annoyed and was extremely non-caring about my concerns. Finally someone called me with results (this was after begging them to just leave a message with results if they couldn't get a hold of me, but they wouldn't and kept leaving vague messages). After complaining about all this to the office manager, she made a very half-hearted attempt to contact me, and after letting her know by message that she continued to call me on the only day I couldn't answer my phone, and when I told her the days she could contact me, she never tried again. The entire office made it clear that I was not important or of any concern. But who knows, maybe they treat their plastic surgery patients better, maybe my measly procedure wasn't enough for them to care about, maybe they will treat you better. read more

Had an amazing photo facial at Cascades faces a few weeks ago. They took care of me the second I walked in the door and addressed the concerns I had with my skin changes. I also picked up a few of the Obagi products and have to say they have changed my skin in just two weeks! I made an appointment with Dr. Villano for the first time about a month ago. I received one vial of Restylane Silk to plump up my lips and I am so happy with the results! He's fast and efficient with great bedside manner. You can tell he truly knows what he's doing and made the procedure as painless as possible.
