We were driving a VW Jetta, which is apparently an incredibly difficult car to get fixed in smaller towns, but he called around to a few places on his phone for us and found one of his friends in Alpine who had a garage and was willing to work on our car. As soon as she went into the women's restroom, he walked near the men's restroom and started to walk INSIDE the women's restroom. This is especially scary because my girlfriend said the front door to the women's restroom was propped open considering the men's restroom was shut, one of the stalls was missing a door and the only other stall had a broken/missing lock where you could see inside the stall. He only left the restroom when he turned and noticed me watching him. He proceeded to "check" their freezer, returned to the register and we quickly left.

When I drove my car with the spare tire to Alpine, I was desperate and out in the middle of nowhere & all auto shops are closed. Headed into the gas station & Sharon was so nice to call the owner of Auto Glass Alpine on the other side of the street for me. Eventually the owner, Vance, from the auto shop came in and helped me put on a tire that I could rely on & drive back home. It's a 500ish miles away and the doughnut would not make it that far away. I'm so thankful for all helps the people here offered me. PS - Because I was in such bad luck, bought a lottery scratch and killed the time waiting Vance.

Everything was fine until one of the employees started refusing to sell me cartons, this is the long haired ,heavy set dark skinned employee that is there every Friday at 1:00 p.m. , even if there are multiple cartons on the shelf he refuses to sell a carton to me and is extremely rude about it, this has happened on multiple occasions. And each time I have to go down to the triangle to get cigarettes which is very inconvenient. Also they can't seem to keep this product in stock.

The ambience was, of course, a tiny table in a gas station convenience store, so kitchy but not date-night. Oh and two of them are blocked by trucks doing who knows what inside. I saw two truckers complete their fueling and STILL waited for the trucker in front of them to come move their rig. The whole time the speaker advises for those done to move forward. Then there are the cheaters. The ones that know that you can follow the Auto entrance and sneak in to the right of those queuing. Then they act shocked when you get angry they cut in. The bathrooms weren't gross but they were NOT CLEAN. And finally, the "dog area" is carpeted and DISGUSTING. Poo everywhere. Even before entering the building, you could already tell something was wrong because both trash cans were overflowing with trash. As soon as I stepped into the women's bathroom you could tell that place hadn't been cleaned for some time. The floor inside both stalls was wet with what I hope it was water. Anyhow, the only reason why I am not giving them one star was because the store itself had a nice selection of items, and was able to buy some medicine and milk for my baby. The staff was also super nice and helpful at check out.
