The ambience was, of course, a tiny table in a gas station convenience store, so kitchy but not date-night. I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up. I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold. Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! There was nobody else in the store and the only worker (a male) was on their phone at the front register. As soon as she went into the women's restroom, he walked near the men's restroom and started to walk INSIDE the women's restroom. This is especially scary because my girlfriend said the front door to the women's restroom was propped open considering the men's restroom was shut, one of the stalls was missing a door and the only other stall had a broken/missing lock where you could see inside the stall. He only left the restroom when he turned and noticed me watching him. He proceeded to "check" their freezer, returned to the register and we quickly left.

Even before entering the building, you could already tell something was wrong because both trash cans were overflowing with trash. As soon as I stepped into the women's bathroom you could tell that place hadn't been cleaned for some time. The floor inside both stalls was wet with what I hope it was water. Anyhow, the only reason why I am not giving them one star was because the store itself had a nice selection of items, and was able to buy some medicine and milk for my baby.
