Oh lord! This Valero needs some serious cleaning. During our drive on I10, we decided to stop at this Valero for a quick bathroom break. Even before entering the building, you could already tell something was wrong because both trash cans were overflowing with trash. As soon as I stepped into the women's bathroom you could tell that place hadn't been cleaned for some time. The floor inside both stalls was wet with what I hope it was water. Anyhow, the only reason why I am not giving them one star was because the store itself had a nice selection of items, and was able to buy some medicine and milk for my baby. First time stopping here, but not the last. Never know with some of the smaller places what they'll be like. We were pleasantly surprised. Clean inside. Organized. Cashier was courteous and personable. They have all the usual snacks and beverages. They also have a small cafe with hot food ready to go. Hubby ordered a cheeseburger and fries. That was made to order fresh. A very good burger! Fries were crisp with a lite batter! There is a large dirt lot for truck parking. This place is worth stopping at for a break or a quick bite to eat. read more
