I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up. I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold. Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! Is it possible the back scratcher doubles as a bottle opener? Turns out Yes! perfect! So I decided to drink while driving. Fever Tree Ginger Ale that is. Thank you Flying J Travel Center!!!!! Everything was fine until one of the employees started refusing to sell me cartons, this is the long haired ,heavy set dark skinned employee that is there every Friday at 1:00 p.m. , even if there are multiple cartons on the shelf he refuses to sell a carton to me and is extremely rude about it, this has happened on multiple occasions. And each time I have to go down to the triangle to get cigarettes which is very inconvenient. Also they can't seem to keep this product in stock.

When I drove my car with the spare tire to Alpine, I was desperate and out in the middle of nowhere & all auto shops are closed. Headed into the gas station & Sharon was so nice to call the owner of Auto Glass Alpine on the other side of the street for me. Eventually the owner, Vance, from the auto shop came in and helped me put on a tire that I could rely on & drive back home. It's a 500ish miles away and the doughnut would not make it that far away. I'm so thankful for all helps the people here offered me. PS - Because I was in such bad luck, bought a lottery scratch and killed the time waiting Vance.

The drink machine was sticky enough to trap a small animal, and I'm pretty sure my shoes gained weight walking past it. Step outside and it didn't get much better. Trash overflowing everywhere like the cans just threw their hands up. And the dog park -- which should be amazing -- was a minefield of dog turds from every breed known to mankind. We had a flat tire on the fourth of July with field work that needed to be fixed asap and Ben got everything fixed in such a short amount of time and had an extra tire for us to use as a spare for an incredible price. A few days later, we had a possible problem with our air conditioner leaking. He took a look at it and made sure we were all good for free. Incredible service, everyone here is amazing and kind.
