What a beautiful and well-maintained campground! We decided to stay here on our trip south, and…read morewe're so glad we did. The staff was incredibly friendly, our RV site was spacious and well kept, and it easily accommodated our 44' rig with plenty of extra room. Our neighbors were welcoming as well, and we really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the animals. The only thing we wished for was for the pool to be open, but we understand that can be hit or miss this time of year. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

When I arrived I didn't understand my site. My rig is 22' but the site I have is huge. The campground has many empty spots that would be more suitable. I called them to ask for help and Chris the manager came. He did not help me with the spot. Instead he told me my rig was against the law because it wasn't Rvia certified. He threatened to kick me out five times but wouldn't right now. He asked me how much I paid for my membership which is none of his business. I have a higher tier membership but regardless he informed me that thousand trails doesn't like to sell to people like me when we were discussing full time RVers. The final time he threatened me I said if you are going to kick me out then do it but you better kick everyone else out who isn't RVIA certified. Again he said he wouldn't right now and that he just wanted to educate me on the fact I was breaking the law. He noticed another van near me and told me to come with him while he checked her. I refused but later spoke with her and she was in tears when he got done with her. After he left I looked at my membership and not being certified isn't against the law. It is recommended but not required. Chris also informed me not to go to any other thousand trail park in PA because they wouldn't let me in. I don't know if that's true but something to keep in mind. I reached out to thousand trails about the situation and wanting to know if the managers were trained to treat "members like me" that are full time this way but it's been several days and they have not responded. In some of the other reviews I saw that 10 years ago the bathhouse was under construction in the no septic hook up area. It is still closed due to construction in 2026. Of all the TT I have been to this has been by far the worst experience. Chris even mentioned that his wife wouldn't even camp at a place like this because she prefers nicer ones. That spoke volumes about the property he manages.

We have two little kids and they loved the playground, outdoor ping pong table and outdoor movie night! They handed out free popcorn and even had a piñata the next day in celebration of cinco de mayo! The coffee and ice cream in the market were both delicious and the staff was very friendly. The rec room had great games and a craft center for the kids which was great since we did get a lot of rain on day 2. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back- the website gives a great rundown on themed weekends. Almost forgot one of the most important parts- the bathrooms were so clean and accommodating! Little things that you may have forgotten were stocked for you in the ladies bathroom.

The staff were amazing and very friendly to interact with during our stay. You can tell they were taking pride in the changes being made to the campground. The common areas and community room were nicely renovated with large outdoor fire pits and seating. Pastries and coffee were available in the store on weekends and regular events throughout the summer were scheduled. As a new campground/ownership, there were a few quirks that we experienced. Check in is all online and when you arrive you go directly to your site. There is no office, vehicle registration, or tags for the sites. This has its positives and potential drawbacks with monitoring who all is accessing, driving, and parking in the campground. A nice mix of sites exist, with some being cramped in, others more spacious, and some with odd placement of hookups which were tricky. They do have buddy sites for people traveling another family/rv. One issue that we did experience was the changing of the type of site we had booked. Several months prior when booking we booked a full hookup site. It wasn't until we checked in did we find out that we were moved to a water/electric only site for our stay. This was a bit of an inconvenience and when we called we were informed that they had to move a monthly customer to the full hookup site and they didn't have a sewer run to our new site yet, but there was a dump station onsite (not the same as a full hookup site). Overall the location is very nice with the trees and creek surrounding the campground. As the owners continue to make upgrades and changes to the campground I do see it becoming a great destination!
