Cute campground near Hershey. Much cheaper route than hotel staying which I have previously done. $600 for 5 nights in a cabin compared to $400 per night hotel. Our cabin was small, full size bed and 2 bunk beds. Small fridge, microwave and no running water...say what?! There's a decent size bath house right next door. Plenty of showers and toilets with updated, modern fixtures. Connecting to the bath house is a mini arcade. The property has a very nice pool and mini splash pad. Comfortable, modern lounge chairs. General store with everything you'd need for your camping experience.

These are the sites with fire rings upfront.

My husband and I full time RV and so we have been to a lot of parks. This was a very nice park close to Hershey park. The bathrooms are clean and well kept up. We were here on a weekend and there was activities going on. Dj by the pool was fun as well as the contests the DJ put on. The DJ I don't think really loved his job but had a great play list. Nice store with items you may have forgotten. We would stay again! They also are open year round.

The wife an I have been full time RVers for about 3 years now and have been to many campgrounds. We spent the past three months here and Hershey Road Campground ranks up with the very best. The facilities are top notch and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is outstanding. We highly recommend staying here.

    Having fun on the playground!

Nice campground! Plenty of stuff to do. Nice laundry room, arcade, and playground for the grandkids.

Game room and laundry room.. as well as nice restrooms and showers.

My husband and I with our two kids spent a couple of nights here. Overall everything was great. The putt putt looks newer and well kept. The pool and splash pad has closed for the season but looks to be new and probably a lot of fun in the summer time. The camp staff was very helpful with our first time visiting. Sites were pretty level and they had a fire ring and individual bbq grills. The catch and release fishing pond was freshly stocked. Playground was fun for the kids. They had Saturday night karaoke and several vendors there as well. I'd love to give this place 5 stars... and really the only reason I didn't is no fault of the campground... it's that the road traffic was constant and pretty noisy all night. It was hard to get a good night sleep and I would've loved to have been able to open the windows at night and listen to nature... not traffic. Overall I really enjoyed it as did my family.

Mid week, 3rd week in august. Kinda empty looking, but folks were camping behind us.

I booked & confirmed the stay, after seeing my Oncologist, I went home and found out that our camper which was in the shop for warranty work was not going to be ready as promised. They were waiting on parts & because of the pandemic they had no idea when the parts would arrive. I waited until the Friday before our trip to check on our camper again. It was not going to be ready in time for our trip. I called the KOA and spoke to what sounded like a young female. She told me that the cancellation confirmation will be emailed to me, but not right away. I received an email from them a few days later on Wed Aug 12, it was a guest policies update about covid - 19. I called them and told them about this email & told the lady that I had cancelled on August 7th. She told me that they had no record of my cancellation. Someone will look into it and get back to me. I talked to the office lady the next day & I was called a liar.I asked to speak to the manager & was told not available, I asked to speak to the owner & was told not available either. I told her that I have the phone record on my phone and that I cancelled at 12:22 pm on Aug 7, 2020. This was within their 7 day cancel period. She said someone will look into it a little further & return my call. Later that day, I talked to the office lady again and things got loud on both ends, then they hung up on me. I called back a few minutes later & they denied hanging up on me. I finally was transferred to the manager. I had to explain everything again. They were still denying that I canceled. She said they will issue a refund. The next day, I had to call back again because they withheld $10 for cancellation fee. I told them that I was VIP and don't get charged this fee. I explained all that had transpired to this person & mentioned that I was going to book another trip there next month after I get my camper back. She apologized for all the problems and was being real nice. After I got camper back, I went online and booked a site there for Sept 17th. A few days later, I get a Email from the owner, Mr. Karl Schmidt. He tells me" that because of the way that I handled the previous reservation and the subsequent cancellation, I decided to have my manager cancel your latest reservation, to allow you the opportunity to find a better suited campground for your needs" I responded to his email & suggested that his people weren't being honest about what had transpired, & letting him know of my phone record showing that I had called to cancel when I said I did.... I'm not sure why he didn't like me booking online? but, Karl Schmidt chose to ignore my email. At the very least, this man Karl Schmidt owes me an apology! Camping is very important to me, especially during this pandemic. I'm disabled, this man violated my rights by canceling my reservation without talking to me personally. He heard one side of the story & made an executive decision. Besides the Bladder Cancer, I have heart blockage, I have COPD, I've had 5 back surgeries, 2 neck surgeries, I have a neck fusion, a low back fusion, & a spinal cord stimulator surgically implanted. I'm high risk for covid and camping is an activity that I can control my own safety. I HAVE DOCUMENTATION THAT ALL OF THIS IS TRUE. MY ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMPGROUND!!!

I came here for a place close to where I was going to attend PA motorcycle training classes (which, btw, are free). Site #46 is quiet,... oh wait,... not really. The acorns are falling out of the oak trees this time of year and, well,... let me put it this way, "shots fired" would be my analogy of what these huge acorns sound like as they come crashing down on the top of my pop up cap and canvas covers. I'm a certified firearm instructor so believe me when I tell you the shots will make you jump throughout the night. Forgot to mention the restroom facilities. Not well maintained if at all. No sink to wash up, no toilet paper (thankfully, I did have some of my own - thanks, Honey for thinking of that). Ah yes, water. I was told I had water at my site and I did,... it flows slow enough that I suspect a reverse osmosis spigot is being utilized so you really MUST pay that 50 cents if you want to clean up. Once again, I'm thankful I brought 5 gallons of water with me to cook my Mountain House meals with. Have I forgotten anything besides the good night's sleep I haven't had since arriving? Funny, all these acorns, not one squirrel or deer to be seen anywhere. Hunters out here must have an exceptionally high success rate and killed everything. I live in Bucks County (appropriately named) where we are inundated with both species of wildlife so not seeing animals wandering in the woods is strange to me. Whoops,... they almost got away with it. Electricity. I paid for it and I got it. The 30Amp breaker doesn't work nor does one of the two 15Amp breakers so,... putting it simply, I got enough electricity to run the refrigerator OR the AC... but not both so I alternated between the two as needed. Damn, just thought about the road to the site,... about the width of a truck and two way? Paved,... mostly. Plenty to be desired especially if your driving a low ground clearance Odyssey like I am and, since air bags are part of my rear suspension, I'm conscientious about those two air valves and lines sticking down on the inside of each wheel back there. Poorly paved road surfaces didn't improve my overall impression of this place. On the bright side: It didn't rain.

Indoors is 2 sets of bunk beds, a small table with three stools, some hooks, a dresser, and an AC. First impression it was pretty clean and simple. When looking on the top bunk between the mattress and the wall it got a little gross however. Mattresses were okay, not the comfiest but good enough. The AC was a life saver with keeping it cool. The bath house is conveniently located near the cabins. This also was pretty clean. The exterior curtain where you change is not quite wide enough to give full coverage though. Shower water gets hot and the water pressure is decent enough. The staff were friendly and the other campers seemed nice as well. Will definitely be staying here again!

Pinch Pond was the closest campground to our house and she thought it would be a good fit. She only made reservations a day in advance for a week's stay and I was glad they were able to accommodate her as she paid cash and they held the reservation without payment. They also recommended a cheaper option, their sister campground at Mt Gretna which was $250/week but wasn't able to accommodate our size camper. When we inquired about a month's stay were told the fee was $800 and an application/approval would be required however they were booked for that length of stay. This campground is open year round and apparently busy year round. The woman checking her in was very thorough in her explanation of the policies, a little winded perhaps but I learned things I didn't know before and I was only there two weeks ago. A week's stay on a no frills rv site was $300, taxes included. She used our rv so we had to set it up and will need to tear it down at the end of stay. Given that that's an unusual situation and they require gate passes I expected it to be a problem. I was pleasantly surprised it was a non issue. I was even provided my own gate pass. The sites are not clearly marked and hubby got very annoyed when we found ourselves meandering through narrow pathways with a 28' camper in tow. Ultimately we had to call the office and ask for an escort as we were clearly lost within the campground. She knew going in that the constant boom of gunshots would surround her but didn't expect it to disturb her young son as much as it did. With every boom on the first day he held his ears and screamed for them to stop. They've now stayed two nights and it's still disturbing to him. My daughter's biggest complaint thus far is the amount of spotted lantern flies and that they even find their way inside. Both very valid concerns.
