They have indoor and outdoor seating available, the service is always amazing and aside from having wondering food in general, they are known for delicious (and massive) cinnamon rolls. My family has been coming to this establishment for over 50 years. Today (10-3-25), my 95 yr old mother & nephew went to the BP Inn during lunchtime. After waiting for about 20 minutes in line, they were shown to a table on the other side near the bathroom where they waited for over an hour to see a waitress. Finally they got to order and waited another 30 minutes to get their fish sandwiches - minimal sized an dry portions on dry, burnt buns - still for $15 each! The waitress also acted as if she could care less whether she did her job or not. I'm glad for the fond memories of the Inn's past, but I'm not sure I want to experience any present times at this establishment. Maybe it was just a bad day.... read more

Daneo was our server 5 stars. I orders the Irish eggs Benedict. Wow! Loved it eggs poached perfectly. Wish I would have told them to toast the English muffin a bit more. My wife had the Veggie Salad adding chicken breast. She enjoyed it as well. Sides were onion rings. I just had to have a mini cini All this for $52‍ Got there at 11:30a on a Friday. Sat anywhere we wanted. By the time we finished, a line out the door. Great place, a throwback for sure as I went there as a teen years ago. Same place, same great food. We recently had dinner (Valentines Day weekend). It was awesome:-). The service, quality and quantity of the food, and the price were all exceptional. The Bemus Inn is one of our family's favorite restaurants around Chautauqua Lake, and today was my first time visiting this year. It was a calm Friday morning when we arrived around 10am, and we immediately seated ourselves at the empty bar. I ordered a hot chocolate, which now comes on a bigger mug, and a #12 breakfast that includes French toast, two eggs, sausage, and bacon. My sister got Irish eggs Benedict, and my brother got toast and eggs. Everything was great and our waitress was attentive without being annoying, some places don't know the balance but I've never had a problem here. The restaurant was getting busy as we left so it was just the right time to eat breakfast. We also enjoyed seeing the restaurants exterior and interior improvements made over the past year. read more

We ate at this restaurant twice on our vacation for lunch .Great happy friendly service. When it's real busy they give you a beeper to wait for a table outside.Prices & portions are great. We took home a piece of pie and a mini cinnamon roll the first time we dined for lunch. They have the staff to serve and cook and customers seem very happy. We had the lunch combos both times consisting of a full sandwich, potato chips, a pickle ,and soup or salad. The kitchen seems able to handle the amount of business. Busy both times we were there. Wish they were open more hours and days ,but totally understand staff need a break. This restaurant is a great Asset to the Bemus point area. read more

This is a casual homey place. It was very busy on a Wednesday at 11:30am. There seemed to be a lot of regulars -always a good sign. The waitress was friendly. We had the veggie omelette and a ham and cheese sandwich with a side salad. Prices, portions and taste- All were very good. The town is cute in a beautiful setting by Lake Chautauqua. read more

The gals there are BFF with my parents. Right off the bat I can tell u from memory the bemus burger is fantastic. I get bacon cheddar, that might be automatic. It's a good burger in a world where lousy buns ruin the burgers. Any CHQ weekend we go there for breakfast. All the breads & bakery are made in house! Eggs bacon home fries standard fare & good. Bagel sandwich. Omelettes. I've had all these over the years. Yesterday special was chipped beef on toast, see pic. I can't pass on good old S.O.S. The official meal of Ft. Leonard Wood basic training for my pop. Fun place. Good coffee. Crowded with regulars. Great gals family business! Everybody goes there so u should too! Like any breakfast place worth a visit there was about a 30 minute wait before we were seated. While you wait to be seated the restaurant has coffee on offer in the main entrance which was a nice touch. The interior has the classic diner feel to be expected for a place that was established in 1946. Tons of options on the menu as well as a few specials to satisfy any breakfast desires. Based on a few plates that passed by they have some amazing Eggs Benedict options. I rdidn't try them this time around but definitely worth a go. Some the options we tried were the regular bacon and eggs and the daily special waffles. At this point it's worth noting that the place is famous for their cinnamon buns but that's not really my thing so I passed. However, if that's your thing it sounds like they're worth every bite. Wow... never have I ever been treated so rudely by a hostess at a restaurant. Arrived and put on a table for two, received a pager. Five other groups came in after us they were seated. She at one point said to me it's too crowded in here you could wait in your car! Really! After the other customers were seated she said you can sit at the bar or you will have to wait. I politely handed her my pager and said I don't think I'll be back. I wasted almost an hour waiting. I seemed to me if you weren't a local or from Bemus point you didn't matter! Our family came here for breakfast while on vacation in the area. We were looking for a place that served regular hearty breakfasts at a reasonable price and certainly found it here. The service was cordial and efficient without being rushed or overbearing. The Bemus Point Inn makes me think of those kinds of places where the staff and the patrons all know each other and everyone in town gathers there on a hot summer day. Well, those traits may be in play, but the Bemus Point Inn was a nice place to stop for lunch on a Sunday afternoon as we made our way through the area. I'd stop here again if I'm in town, for sure. It was easily the hottest day of the summer up until that point, and we needed to be indoors for lunch, since we were going to be outside for most of the afternoon. Bemus Point was a quick drive from Jamestown, where we needed to be after we were done. Bemus Point Inn is a moderate sized restaurant with decent parking, and we didn't have to wait at all to sit down. It wasn't very cool on the inside, but there were tons of fans and we were able to seat ourselves right by a small one. The food was served quickly, as were the waters we inhaled to stay hydrated. I had the Italian grilled cheese, which was a slight upgrade from the regular grilled cheese, with tomatoes and herbs everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but it was a tad greasy. I can definitely work with grease on a cooler day. Sandwiches are served with chips, which gave me some good salt to work with. The only time it felt like anything was moving slowly was when we tried to pay. Usually, restaurants can't take your money fast enough, but it took a bit of time to get our bill settled. Not a huge deal, but we did have to be somewhere. If you're driving through the area, Bemus Point Inn is convenient to the highway and will provide you with a solid lunch option. When we walked into this cozy little establishment we were greeted by a friendly staff with a smile and some pleasantries as we took our seats amongst the perfectly set tables. The old school table doilies and place settings harked back to Grandma's kitchen. The main dining area offered gorgeous views of Chautauqua Lake to patrons seated alongside the windows. The cinnamon roll is a MUST!! Freshly baked, covered in cream and deliciously sweet with a warm gooey center, it's too good not to share! I'd be remiss not to mention that it's HUGE!! Our party of 4 split one and it satisfied us all! For my main course I had the Big Bemus Breakfast and boy oh boy was it good! 3 eggs scrambled soft to perfection, 2 savory sausage patties, 2 flapjacks crispy yet fluffy and a generous serving of home fries rounded out this behemoth breakfast. Unfortunately my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I failed to finish everything but nevertheless I was satisfied. This place is closed on Tuesday but open year round on the other days. It's close to the lake and is very popular.
