I asked for more help from a different employee who did offer the help. A manager needs to be kind and understanding and customer focused. This place did not disappoint! Came here with our 2 year old son for breakfast and it was delicious! Also loved the atmosphere and ability to sit in or outside. Very nice little place to eat. The ambiance is delightful. The service was quick. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Just make sure you pay attention to the register... I ordered a breakfast wrap and they asked me if I wanted toast or fruit, thinking it came with the meal, when I said fruit, they added $1.50, so I opted out of that but the toast was free with the meal...weird.( I realize fruit is expensive and get the extra charge but they didn't say oh, it'll be extra.) all in all, I'd go back and try a lunch item. read more

It was my first time in Lake Chautauqua and this cafe is a perfect breakfast spot nearby. We ended up coming here twice in our short weekend trip because we loved it so much. They have indoor and outdoor sitting areas. It gets crowded during weekends of course. A lot of items for breakfast and lunch menu. We only came for their breakfast due to time restrictions. I got to try their Sausage, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich on a Asiago bagel, wow the size was amazing and delicious! It can definitely be shared. For my coffee each time I had two different types and can't recall what they were but both were very good! The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. They have a decent size staff who is pretty helpful in taking your order and recommendations. They have some parking in the street however it's public so you might have to park further if you come when it's busy. They're located in a very popular area where a lot of other restaurants, hotels, ice cream shops are nearby so it's really great to plan a day of it. They have two restrooms, and they sell some local merch and other items. We can't wait to visit again and come back here soon! read more

Biking to Lake Life Cafe for a late breakfast. Even on a Wednesday it's steadily busy, but having come since they opened a few years ago I still see why. I got my usual breakfast sandwich, but also tried the new August mocha: a white mocha with blackberry cold foam. Even though I usually get hot drinks or a frappuccino this was a nice little change and I enjoy the effort a small restaurant puts into having a changing and diverse menu! Despite other options nearby for breakfast and lunch, this remains my go to for a quick stop. Whether eating in or picking up using the convenient app, I've never had bad service or food. Only on one occasion was the wait quite long, but it was a busy Saturday the week off July 4 so what do you expect? I'm going to drop my review a little, because I believe the quality here has dropped. Coffee still taste good, people behind the counter are nice, but what has happened to the food? Got avocado toast with an over easy egg which I am posting a picture of. Now the avocado toast without an egg is $7. It's one slice of toast with barely any avocado. I mean in places it looked as though it barely changed the color of the bread. I realize that costs are going up but when you have to skimp on something so much that it doesn't even barely resemble the product it's supposed to be... I asked if they could do an over easy egg, to which I heard, "absolutely!" It wasn't even remotely runny, and actually over done. Not a busy morning, just low quality. Cutest little local spot that we happened to visit while heading back to NJ. Customer service is 10/10, food is 10/10 and the ambience was super cute and inviting.
