I wasn't home when they were cleaning the place but my wife was and her impression of them was that the crew was nice and professional. What more could you want? So that was a good thing. They finished in a reasonable amount of time which I'm always thankful for. When they were done, they made sure to add a few extra finishing touches like adding little bows on top of the toilet paper in the bathroom. That was a unique touch that really set them aside. Great job! Now for the cons. I would give them 4.5 stars if I could because these aren't really cons, just small details from what I noticed. When I first walked in, I could tell right off that they really scrubbed this place down. There was a strong chemical smell throughout the house like they REALLY went in. No big deal, because the cleanliness of the place supported the smell in a good way. Just a heads up, if you have small children or pets that you're concerned with getting into any lingering chemicals, I'd pay the extra money to have them use eco friendly products. But with that said, going into the point of them REALLY going in, I mean they REALLY went in. I pay a lot of attention to small details and I noticed over the next few hours a few things around the house were not how I left them. For example, I have an ambient light switch in the living room that's always set to one color that I choose (I'm the only one in the house that uses it). When I went to turn it on that night, it was a different color. This tells me that they crew likely made sure the dust or wipe down the remote. Great! But then I noticed a few other things like a small section of the paint peeling by my front door which I won't ding them for because that section already stood out to me before but this was the first time it had started to peel. This tells me that they maybe dusted or vacuumed in that corer and maybe nocked it lose? Other things like my dog camera not working and it turns out they switched the light switched that it was plugged into to off. There were small details like this that I noticed over the course of the next few hours to days after the fact, Again, this isn't a ding against them necessarily, more so a "great work, just be a little bit more gentle and mindful next time please". Other than that, I wouldn't use this as a reason not to hire them again because the overall job they did far outweighs these small minor details.

I hired Bricklands for a window project involving very old brick, and they exceeded my…read moreexpectations. They were communicative, professional, and efficient--three words most people don't associate with contractors. They answered all my questions and responded to feedback. And they went above and beyond--applying a layer of drywall mud to compensate for an unexpected curve so that the window frame was flush with the wall (without an extra charge). In short, Bricklands provided top quality work at a reasonable price. The final product is exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Bricklands!

Bottom line: I would use All-American again but was a little upset about some of the "delays"…read more I had all-american perform my auto-glass replacement after a rock hit my windshield through my dealership's referral. The day it happened they were very accomodating - the women who work there were friendly and worked with me so I could meet the technician to see if he could patch it. The technician was friendly as well - he tried, however it was too large and I needed a full replacement. I appreciated the try, though. All-American also priced their work fairly and gave me a good price for the windshield and install. All-American recommends you let your car sit overnight after a replacement, which is fine, however I had to bring it into the shop requiring me either a) to go without a car for a day and make other arrangements or b) get a rental. The first time I went in I was able to secure a rental car. However, All-American called that afternoon saying they had ordered the wrong window and would have to reschedule. To their credit, All-American offered to take care of the rental car on my next visit. A week later, I bring my car in again and everything goes smoothly. However, later that evening, I ran my windshield wipers to notice they were completely askew. I immediately called All-American, who called me back the next morning and made arrangements with my dealership for them to fix it. Apparently the wipers were put on the wrong sides. So, to sum it up: Pros: Friendly and accomodating staff, workmanship (window install seems good), knowledge of the industry, price Cons: a few "hiccups" like ordering the wrong part and the windshield wiper mistake.

I especially appreciated his communication and willingness to work with me to ensure I was able to leave with the terms I requested, including no money down. My experience with Sabiya, the business associate, was more mixed. While she ultimately helped finalize the deal, I felt some of the communication around the down payment was a bit aggressive, and I received follow-up calls after the sale regarding documentation. Additionally, there were a few errors with my information on documents, which extended the amount of time I spent at the dealership. Despite those concerns, the overall experience was positive, and I'm happy with my purchase and the outcome.
