I was outfitted to go on a few special trips in the past year with a G Consignment wardrobe that earned me many compliments. Dare I tell them that my designer outfits were consignment? Sometimes it's hard to resist... So that's why I decided to write a review instead. They also carry lovely things for the home, including nice furniture. The owner is so gracious and friendly to deal with because of her integrity. You can tell that she love helping people. Don't pass up on G's treasures at very reasonable prices. When the manager finally decided to show up she couldn't return them either! When she finally figured out how, she said it will be a store credit! I wanted a refund and not credit for overpriced junk! Besides they were unopened toys not jewelry! The reason she gave was because I made my purchases via money wallet app and they don't give refunds only store credit. It wasn't the refund policy but how they treat people! No greeting no apologies no manners! If I could give zero stars I would! I'm not the kind of person who would waste my time writing negative reviews unless it's really an unpleasant experience. At the final fitting my dad said he was much nicer and helpful and allowed him to take the tuxes 2 days early. He overcharged me money and we had proof on a receipt what the price was. After a rude phone call by me and my father, he realized it was HIS mistake and refunded me the money...but of course... Instead of just putting the money back on my card, he said he could only give me a check or cash and I had to go back to the shop to pick it up..... So again.... An inconvenicene I had to go back to the shop and get the money he owed me. I had to wait another 25 min before he even came to the desk to acknowledge me. The hours are limited. I don't know how he can even keep the business running. M-F only open from 12 to 6 or 2-8, sometimes you must call ahead to make sure he will even be there. Both times I went and the time my husband went for his final fitting the owner was late. He was late to opening his own store when we had appointments for 4 people..... and late when they went back with an appointment to pick up the tuxes. Shipping/packing: Poor. The tuxes didn't come in until 4 days before the wedding and no spare time for last minute changes or fixes. When my father and husband went for the final fitting 3 days before the wedding...one of the groomsmens suits was not in..... they said they would expedite ship to the venue.... Which was a destination wedding. So I was wondering if the suits were actually going to arrive on time to the venue and not get damage or have missing parts. my husbands velvet suit was great so thats all that mattered to me, the men looked nice, just very uncomfortable suits Value: IMO The price was ridiculous-about $300 plus tax......compared to Mens Warehouse or other mom and pop shops it was way overpriced. I thought because it was a smaller shop, it would be a cheaper price. Only went with this company because we previously used them for a prom shop over 12 years ago and back then it was decent. You are better off just going to Mens Warehouse or any chain/corporate suit company.

Shady. They swindled my boyfriend…read more He was buying some bracelets that had a sign that said 2 for $8 leather bracelets. He was picking out a few and while he was doing that the worker walked up to him and he said "these are 2 for $8 right?" She says yes and helps him take the ones he wants off the display. She then starts bringing over beaded bracelets from the table adjacent to show him - showing him like 3/4 at a time and does this maybe 3 times. He picked a few out of the beaded ones she showed him. He never touched these bracelets. She just held onto the ones he picked. She told him she could hold onto all the bracelets and took them to the register. He then went and looked at a section further down on the table she was pulling from and picked one more to buy that was a little pricier. He figured he was going to pay like $40. He goes to the register and she is adding up the total on a calculator. While she's doing this he pulls out his debit card and is holding it in his hand with his hand on the counter but against his body still. She is also removing the price tags as she is ruining them up. She reaches across the register and takes his card out of his hand. Finishes adding the merchandise then swipes his card WITHOUT TELLING HIM THE PRICE. He thinks nothing of this - takes the bag - and we walk 6 steps from the register. In this time, he looks at the receipt and sees he was charged $94 for 10 bracelets! That were labeled 2 for $8 and handed to him as if they were the same price. We immediately turn around and go back to the worker and tell her we didn't expect it to be this much. We ask how much the beaded ones were (because they obviously weren't 2 for $8) and she tells us $18!!! (Almost 5 times as much as the specific price range he said he wanted). We say we didn't know they were that much and ask if we can return them. She just tells us no refunds. The receipt was not accurate at all. It showed $94.14, dated in 2000, and said cash when he used a card. They also charged his card $94.16 instead of what the receipt said. Completely scammed him.
