I was lucky enough to visit during their "$10 fill a bag" sale of winter clothing and got some fantastic deals. There really is something for everyone that wears women's clothing here. I was never told that. A shame since the shop has been around for a long time--my mother and sister were frequent customers back in the day. Very disappointing not to mention probably illegal. For example, I bought $400 worth of cute suits today for $44 and I know thst because 2 out of the 4 items had original price tags on them. Score! Selling your stuff- I have never brought anything there to sell, so I have no insight on that. They do have a strict policy for consignment but I see woman bringing in furniture and cloths all the time. Cons: Their hours are very limited, 11am to 5 M-Sat and 11am to 4pm on Sun.

The owner will be notified and I may write a new review if I get my bottoms back or get compensated. My suit no longer has value without the matching pants.

Greg and his team helped me find the perfect dress, and way under budget unexpectedly. I loved that they brought the dresses to me dependent on what I wanted. Other stores didn't listen to what I wanted, but just gave me what was in style. I wanted a classic dress similar to one that my grandmother wore, and Greg was able to find that for me. Not only did he help me find my perfect dress, but he cleaned and refinished my moms veil to better match my dress. He made it possible for me to wear a piece of my mom and grandma on my special day. Greg's ability to listen and help me find my perfect dress will never be forgotten.

All the clothing is separated into different racks by categories, i.e jackets, sweaters, blouses, etc. They also have a great accessory selection for bags, shoes, and jewelry and in the back there is a whole wall for children's clothes and toys. Everything is reasonably priced for a thrift store. I didn't spend more than $6 on a single item. The location is very convenient as well. Right on Potomac ave in Dormont and there is meter parking right out front of the store. The ladies that work there are very nice as well. They told us how they are volunteers and have been working there for years. This is a non-profit store and everything they don't sell within 60 days goes to homeless shelters and a lot of their profits go towards helping the animal shelters as well. The store has been around for 50+ years, which is amazing. The ladies said it originally started out as a trade store for items people didn't want anymore, hence the name. Very cool history and a great place to find a good deal! Will be back!

Although the store is not large it has a variety of clothing, housewares, linens, and seasonal decorations. Donations are gratefully received if one does not want to sign up to be a consignor. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 pm. on Saturday. The store is closed on Sundays and Fridays. Want to meet new friends? New volunteers are welcome.
