He is old school & no nonsense which I liked at first. That's where the good ENDS! The place is not only NOT sanitary in the slightest, the unprofessional operation I tell you what... it is UNBELIEVABLE this place is still in business! Also, this man USED TO BE a human physician that LOST HIS MEDICAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE! That should tell you all you need to know! I feel like I could get the same level of care by asking a hobo off the street & paying him with a beer & cigarettes! The last time I went (which will be my LAST TIME), he said he needed to cancel. Then told us to bring both of our dogs, one of which is a new Rough Collie going through his "terrible two's", and my 16 year old non-verbal daughter that cannot sit still for more than a minute.. we get there and there's ZERO STAFF. We were there on time, meanwhile he was answering phones, catering to EVERYONE ELSE that walked through the door, when he had patients in the room for over a half hour literally doing nothing. Also, he gripped about us not bringing the puppy's shot records. HE'S A "VET"!! But I'm the one that's supposed to supply his records?? The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts, and if you're going to brave it anyway, I hope you like the smell of AMONIA! It stinks to high heaven in that place! All the negative reviews about the Vet are absolutley correct. The people who think he is a great Vet have not seen what he is really like yet. But eventualy they will and they also will leave there and will never go back again like the rest of us. Dr. Chaudhry is the most honest and holistic vet I have ever met. I promise you that he's not doing this for the money, but for the genuine love of animals. We brought our dog into him because she stopped eating. He examined her and said he could run hundreds of dollars worth of test but the fact was that she was dying and going into liver failure. She was a senior dog we rescued. He let us bring her home with care instructions to keep her comfortable for the night to prepare emotionally to put her to sleep. He was compassionate and honest. We have had previous vets run hundreds of dollars worth of tests, give us false hope, and all along they know the dog is dying. read more

They don't know what they're doing here, they examine your pet but give you the most basic information even if it's wrong. I took two of my puppies in for the first time and explained what was going on with them prior to the vet examining them and he literally just told me what I said to him. This place is one of the best I have found for our kitty who is 18 and our Dobermans we been coming for years. Very personal and caring. Handles a great deal of different animals and is a clinic and hospital. Don't let dorky people steer you away. As well the practice is great, service and price is some of the best. We now drive 30 minutes to see him as he is decent. Want your animal to be in some random clinic that treats them as a dollar amount and not a family member? Dr Chandry reminds me of Dr Pole on tv. He tells you what is wrong with your animal, how to do things yourself if possible that is more cost effective and he doesn't charge a lot if he can help it. He does not do surgery but will tell you where you can go if you need it. I think he needs to hire a vet tech to help him and to sanitize between patients but I'm sure this is what keeps the cost down. read more

This vet claimed my male dog's infected tumor was a nipple. He proceeded to squeeze it to show me it was milk filled, pus squeezed out and my dog was screeching in pain. I said "but he's a male dog, how and why would he be producing milk?" He then replied, "I am a boy, and I have nipples"... To which I said "but you aren't lactating"... He then said it couldn't be removed because cancer would spread through out his body. Afterwards, we got two other opinions to which the other vets confirmed it was NOT a nipple but an infected growth that needed to be removed. I am not sure how he is in practice. read more

Best Veterinarian I've known. Very honest, accurate and straightforward. Dr Chaudhry will give you viable options before recommending expensive treatments. One of my dogs had cancer and with his over the counter treatments he lived another 5 quality years. Dr. Chaudrhy is quick to interrupt you as you explain symptoms, doesn't take the time to ask follow-up questions, and rushes to a diagnosis. I took my dog to see Dr. Chaudhry for a wound she has on her face. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AGAIN! He asked me how many hours I work, I informed him that I work from home. His exact words to me were "There is the problem. You pay more attention to your work, than you do your dog." This comment was completely uncalled for and I was flabbergasted at what he had just said to me. This is the best vet I've ever been to in over 20 years of owning dogs and cats. Dr. Chandray not only cares about the well being of the animals, but also about the people who go to him. He always finds time to fit you in for appointments and is very reasonably priced. He is a no nonsense kind of guy who let's you know what he thinks. I really believe that he is his business for the animals and people, not the money. He doesn't try to talk you into expensive tests, procedures and unnecessary medications like so many other vets. I went there twice and they are affordable but the service depends on their patience. The women can be very nice or not if you ask the right phrase. I've been hung up on multiple times and noted that to them. And the doctor is very hard to understand and is very irritated at explaining information. I asked just now about tags for a family member and was subjected to not understanding the price and how it was added, and he hung up on me. I'm not completely unknowledgeable to pets, but when you are this rude to costumers how are you supposed to get business to stay? I will find another place to take my dog and my family will not be recommended anymore. Be wary of the service just because of the price. read more

I originally went here on a recommendation, almost 10 years ago, when my dog at the time became very ill and was loosing all of her hair. She was in so much pain she could barely move and had to lay on a sheet due to the drainage. I was never told the puppies had a kind of mange that couldn't be cured and no medication was working. I went to him and he was able to get me a medication that I couldn't get in Wi. (For whatever reason). And under his care, she was able to live a normal life. So, when my husband and I took on two beautiful rescues recently, he was my ONLY choice. We have an appointment soon for our husky that has some sores that won't heal and I KNOW that he will take care of our fur baby. Worst vet experience for my beagle. The vet secretary was beyond rude & not friendly at all it seemed as if we were a bother to her. The dr is very old school & the setting is not friendly. My dog becomes very anxious at the vet & he wanted to cover her face & had her chained onto this big metal table & she was pulling so hard she was choking herself & I had to ask him to stop multiple times. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because afterwards he gave her water and made sure she wasn't so anxious afterwards...but it was not a fun experience. All he did was clip her nails & told us that she had a mass in her stomach of some kind & needed an ultrasound that would cost 300 dollars...when you hear that your animal has a mass of some kind you want answers & he was not able to answer any....I will never return to this vet. The plus side is he is very cheap & if your dog doesn't require extensive check up then I would say this is the place to go. read more

We always took our animals here for years. We recently took our beagle here because she'd been limping a while. He said it was something to do with a muscle in her shoulder, this was after he did a rough physical exam (I have no problems with physical exams, but he was very rough.) He gave us some pain pills and sent us home. Well, after several days of the pain pills, she didn't seem to be getting any better, so we went to another vet for a second opinion. They did an X-ray there (look at that, actually doing something that makes sense.) And found out that she had 2 brakes in her leg. Will never be going back here. read more

Awful experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone. It took over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged after I walked in with my dog for my set appointment. Rooms were not cleaned between dogs and almost every other owner in there insisted on having their dog go nose to nose with mine. I do not believe that is okay. After in the vet came in my 9 month old puppy was scared and while trying to examene her, instead of gentally lifting her leg, it was totally pulled out and was yanked on. All the staff walked straight up to my pup and almost immediately put their hands on her. It was her first time there and she was extremely nervous. That is not okay. At the end of my appointment, the vet would not let me hold my own dog's leash because she was "too attached" to me. Of course she is! It's her first time there! Awful awful experience. Beware do not bring your beloved pet to this man. Dr. Chandray is a quack or he's just plain lazy and cheap.I would give him a minus star rating if there was one, he doesn't deserve one star but I had to give him that just to leave the review..I brought my older cat in for various health issues, and All he did was roughly rub my cats spine declaring my cat has arthritis and an upset stomach, all with no medical tests mind you and prescribed some antibiotics and sold me some high calorie cat food, all the while calling me mommy. One week later the cat is back for recheck and he says the same exact thing. I finish the course of medication but the cat never gets better, gets sicker and eventually dies. I thought he was a veterinarian, not a freaking crystal ball reader. I could have diagnosed my cat better. Had to take my cat to another vet to be put to sleep. Told that vet without naming names my cat was seen by another vet in the area and he immediately knew who I was talking about, that's how bad Dr Chandrays reputation is. Just steer clear of this man and find a more reputable Veterinarian even if you have to pay more. The man needs to retire. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was here twice with my cat because I heard he was a "reasonably priced" vet. What he cuts in price he also cuts in service, patient care, and sanitation. Both times he was rough with my cat, and went over a sore spot in her back to "prove" she had said sore spot, making her extremely uncomfortable and putting her in great amounts of pain. He had no veterinarian assistant, and had me hold her down while he performed a very painful procedure that I was later told was usually done while the pet is sedated. My cat was obviously in pain at several points, to which he had no sympathy or care, instead trying to rush us out to get to his next patient. After further research and word-of-mouth, I've learned that he is unsterile and untrustworthy. Even without any other opinions, I would NEVER go back, solely based on how rough and borderline mean he was to my cat. I left close to tears, and my poor cat was in pain and hid the rest of the day. This is far the best no nonsense Vet ever. I must say that one review complains about sanitary issues etc., it depends on what you want to pay for. It is not the sterile looking place that some people want but it is clean and they do sterilize very well. I have been with this Dr. for 10 yrs. It is all about what is important to you. For me important is that he is very knowledgeable with animals. Tiger poisoned himself. The Dr. said I could take him to a emergency clinic and it would have cost hundreds of $ and I did not have that kind of money. He said my cat has a 50/50 chance of survival even if I take him to a expensive clinic. He may or may not make it and so I left him there and he was treated with fluids and what ever else he recommended and he made it. He has damages but lives as happy as ever. Lucy had her eye damaged after we think a fight with a raccoon. We did not realize how bad it was I went the next day and Dr. Chaudhry told me I could have called him even if it is a Sunday if he is there I can come. So he took her and fixed her eye. It is not the same but it is still functioning to where she can see something. Sassy had a bad stroke, she loved to roam outside. He told me she could still function but also what was involved she was than 15 yrs. old but I asked him to put the old girl to sleep. I could never let her go outside and she wants to be outside, he did not scold me, he gave me with each cat options and I did according to my financial state and what I saw best at that time. Pete the one eyed stray. Has a lump under his skin and now limps, the lump is a bb from who ever had shot out his eye and he said it will not harm him and for the limp it is not broken just from a bad jump and inflamed. He gave him a shot and we try to keep him inside. Someone could find him to rough depending on how they see their animal but I think he is not. He has ways to keep the cost low, but to me I don't care, for I know he is a great vet who knows how to take care of my cats and the other things are luxuries that I could care less about. And I cannot pay expensive Vets so they can have perfect sterile looking clinics. Yes go to him, he is good. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could! I've used this vet because I'm low income. I've had ill cats, neutered a cat, and have had to put 2 down now. I took my 20 year old cat to be put down...she didn't like being there, as most animals don't, and in order to get her out of her carrier, the dr dumped her onto to the cement floor from table high. She had no claws and was so old, she did NOT land on her feet...she landed with a THUD! She didn't move to get up after this...she just laid on her side as she had fell. Dr had given me the spiel about "if she were to bite anyone..." I understood that... No reason to dump her out from so damn high onto the cement floor. After the 1 st shot he gave her, she fell asleep in my arms... she'd been so sick I felt she had left her body... I placed her in the box we had brought for her. Dr walked in, said her heart was still beating and that she was still alive and took her out of the box, out of the room, to administer the final shot. Highly unprofessional and demeaming to my baby and myself!! I was very traumatized, my friend who went with was upset and I am so saddened by how my baby was treated during her last minutes on this Earth. I will never take another animal there, nor will I recommend this vet to anyone! read more

HORRIBLE! Please read if you love your pet!!! I had taken my pet to him years ago and had a very bad experience! So now when my cat needed a vet, instead driving far to our new one, I took him to Dr. Chaudhary after reading these reviews, thinking how he must be good and it was so close to my home. I'll tell you, the experience was so awful that I plan on reporting him. He was impatient with our cat, rough handling him, made me try and hold him on a slippery metal table so I got clawed & bit and still have scars from it. He then took scissors and cut a junk of skin off him and our cat screamed like I have never heard before. The so called doc then gave us medicine for our cat and told us to spray salt water on the open wound. At home, I gave our cat the medicine and he started foaming at the mouth. I don't know what that docs problem is but what he isn't is the great doctor the other reviews wrote about him. After talking to my friend and she heard we went to him, she said "Oh no, I have heard so many bad things about him! He should be shut down!" The are much better vets out there! We use Mostly Cats because they treat the pets and owners very gently and lovingly. read more
