After calling another plumber first, to find out they couldn't clean the instant water heaters, a neighbor referred Belmont Plumbing who found a way to enable the flushing. Most experienced and professional. I now have a go to plumber. Thank you Belmont's Daniel & crew. read more

BP was recommended by a friend neighbor quite a while ago. He told us they were responsive and do great work. Well, when we needed our main cleared on a Monday morning we called and Daniel was out inside of a half hour. He cleared the problem quickly and efficiently. We and the neighbor next door have lots of trees, so we're planning to see Daniel annually. Great job. Highly recommended. read more

Great job Matt and Daniel! read more

Best plumbers in the area!!! Always quick to respond with great rates and they are family owned

If you're a Senior citizen you will be taken advantage of! Left my job to go take care of another job 10 minutes after Matt got there! Left their unlicensed helper there to scrape caulking off the side of the bathtub for 1hr & 20min. That was put on the inside by Matt to keep helper busy! Wasn't there before. Then used brand new washcloths to wipe down copper saudering & hid them behind bathroom curtain so I couldn't find them! Left before cleaning up. Water all over the floor! And under window dripping because of the wet washcloth. Failed to caulk around plate to seal it to keep water out from behind wall! Failed to screw shower head, handle, etc. Charged me illegally, before doing the job and then failed to do the job. They have 3 different addresses to try to get ahold of them!! Which is correct!! They claim all these great reviews??? Yet I only found one from over 8 year's ago! I called another company, Prodigy Plumbing came over same day and fixed everything for free!! Thank you Prodigy Plumbing!! Use Prodigy! They were soooo kind ! They didn't like what Belmont Plumbing did to me :( read more

I had an issue where I wasn't able to use my restroom or showers and had the hardest time figuring out which plumbing business to go with that wasn't a huge corporation. These guys were GREAT! I called around 7:00 am and they came over a couple hours later and were done within the hour. Daniel, Chase, and the whole team were very professional, efficient, and charged an extremely fair price. Would definitely go to them again and recommend to all my friends. I also love supporting a family owned business! read more

They are good plumbers. However follow up is poor and if the job requires some creativity that will be too much work for them and they will give you a story. One of their plumbers just went 180 degrees on what they said they can do and then proceeded to speak down to me like I am a five year old. I have used them several times over several years. I tend to have extended relationship with vendors I will no longer use them. These are not people you want to have an extended relationship with. Thank you read more

I've had two experiences with belmont plumbing now, both have exceeded my expectations. no nonsense, they get the job done quick, and they leave things clean! I've worked with others in town, and belmont outshines the competition in every category. read more

Fast response, same day. Very accommodating & friendly. Father/son family business. Clean up after work. Second time we have used Belmont. This time was a watersoftener issue and even though they normally don't service units not installed by them, spent about 2 hours replacing parts and left with everything working fine. A pleasure to work with. The family lives & works locally. read more

I had 3 estimates. They were by far the best. Quick, professional and perfect! Thanks Matt! Honest!

Belmont Plumbing was a pleasure to work with! They were responsive and came out the same day to fix my mainline clog. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Belmont Shore area! Thanks guys, you rock! read more

The guys showed up wearing masks, which we really appreciated. They showed up on time and were completely prepared to do the work we needed them to perform. The guys got the work done more quickly than was originally anticipated. We really appreciated that they came prepared with all of the parts and components they needed to complete the project. Nicely done! read more

We live in a house built in 1929... still have the original beautiful farmhouse sink in our kitchen... with the not so beautiful and original plumbing. Our kitchen sink has the original faucet handles with gaskets that were so worn that the water ran 24/7. We called Belmont Plumbing to fix the faucet, swap out several water spigots on our property, and a install a toilet kit. The Belmont Plumbing team came out and assessed the job. It turned out to be a two day job given that the kitchen sink faucet handles were rare and required a special type of gasket. Day one, the team was able to address the exterior spigots but have to return date to to install the new toilet kit and kitchen sink gaskets. All of the installations are functioning absolutely perfect and we are delighted with the results that Belmont plumbing performed. Living in an old house with original plumbing means that there is constantly some type of a plumbing issue occurring. We're delighted that we found Belmont plumbing and look forward to working with them in the future! read more

Wow!!!! I was expecting to have to pay a couple hundred dollars but I paid $0! I called to make a service call because my garbage disposal was not working. The woman on the phone told me to try the reset button. (I didn't know there was one.) It worked immediately. I will definitely be calling Belmont Plumbing again. Thank you for being such an honest company and not just trying to take my money! read more

We are thankful for Belmont Plumbing they made our big plumbing problem a smaller issue to fix. They are honest and dependable and their work is excellent. We would highly recommend Belmont Plumbing. If we have any other plumbing issues we will surely call them. read more

Belmont Plumbing is outstanding, I left a message on Sunday and provided them with brief info about blocked drains and time frame of my availability on Monday Eve. They came back with a time slot of 3:30 PM which was perfect. Of course I thought they would probably run late or be committed to another job. Wrong, their nice office staff kept me informed throughout the day. I arrived at the property at 3:45 PM and both Father and Son were busy taking care of the blockage. This was the first time I felt "Very" satisfied with a local Plumbing Company. They were very fair cost wise. Thank you Belmont Plumbing. read more

When the weather got cold, I tried turning on our old school floor heater. Nothing. I had it serviced a year ago, so I called the guy who did that work. Crickets. Not even a return call to tell me he was too busy, etc. After calling a bunch of plumbing and heating companies,, I found that very few, if any, still work on floor heaters. Luckily, I found Belmont Plumbing. I spoke to Renee, who told me they were swamped with work, but promised to put me on the list and get to me as soon as they could. Renee call me today and told me Matt was available and he was there not too long after. He checked the heater and determined all it needed was a new thermostat, which he had with him. Within an hour, my heater was up and running again. I appreciate that Matt observed COVID-19 precautions and did the work in a highly professional manner. I will use Belmont Plumbing for any future work, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great work at a fair price. read more

Outstanding, reliable, consistent, quick service and repair. they don't try to upsell you on parts and labor; they take care of what needs to be done. Renee gets back to you right away, Matt always enters my house with clean feet and a kind and helpful attitude. Both sent our family a condolence card in response to a death in the family; such a community and gracious extra mile to go for customers...they get it...I'd always call them first and I'd always trust them and believe their judgement with repairs. read more

Our experiences with Belmont Plumbing have been wonderful! Usually when you have plumbing or other home repairs it's stressful and expensive, especially when you have a 97 year old home. Our first experience was last summer when one of our visitors stopped up our toilet. Matt and Dan came out and were so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We felt that the charges were very fair as well. Yesterday our kitchen sink was stopped up and backing into the bathroom sink. We called and they came right out. They were so helpful & friendly and even though it was a difficult job and took a long time, the charge was less than we expected. I know now not to put artichokes, banana peels and eggshells in the garbage disposal. I appreciate working with an honest local family business and highly recommend them for any plumbing work you may have. read more

We have an old-ish house, and we have required a wide range of plumbing services over the years. Belmont Plumbing is THE BEST we have ever dealt with: extremely competent professionals that do a great job, stand by their work, and leave the place cleaner than when they arrived. They always follow up with phone messages, and have never left us hanging (which other service providers have in the past). If I could give them ten stars, I would. It is so reassuring for us to have a service provider that we can count on to do professional work at a reasonable rate. I also really appreciate that they use the best possible parts and supplies, and they charge very fair prices for them as well - way better than the stuff from Home Depot that other places use. BEST PLUMBING SERVICE EVER. read more

Top notch service! Why can't everyone run a business this way?! Belmont Pluming is professional, timely, and congenial. I am totally comfortable with their employees and complete services are performed expediently and in good form! I have had the pleasure of dealing with Renee in the office and Chandler in the field. Not that I want to need plumbing services anytime, soon, but making their acquaintance again will be a pleasure! read more

I can't give a higher recommendation to Matt and his crew for coming to my rescue in a crisis situation! I live in a charming, but needy little vintage house built in 1927. Unfortunately, the plumbing is mostly original, with deteriorating pipes, which decided to present a geyser on my front lawn. In a serendipitous gift of the universe, a Belmont Plumbing truck was in the neighborhood. I followed it in my car for three blocks, honking like a crazy stalker. Matt pulled over, listened to my story, told me he would go straight over and turn off the water. The diagnosis was major surgery. The water could not be turned back on. He gave me an estimate and within an hour had a crew show up, who worked tirelessly. It was a major job, but everything was completed by afternoon the next day. It was hard living without water for two days, but it could have been so much worse!! I cannot thank you guys enough for a stellar, neat, and lifesaving job!! read more

Belmont Plumbing operates out of a house in the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach. In August 2017 we wanted an estimate on plumbing construction. Proprietor Matt Grayley arrived more than 20 minutes after the appointed time. Without going into the crawl space under the house to look at the pipes (which are attached to the floor joists), Mr. Grayley said that we need a copper re-pipe to avoid a lot of problems in "one or two years". He had to retract that statement later, after his employee went under the house and found the galvanized supply lines to be in good condition. (Grayley did not mention the corroded wastewater lines under the bathroom. Did his man miss seeing them?) He talked about "electrolysis" at copper-to-steel joints, when he should probably have talked about "galvanic corrosion" aka "bi-metal corrosion". When his $5,600 estimate finally arrived nearly two weeks after his second visit, it was vague about how many hours of labor would be needed. It requested $3,800 to install pipe of unstated length, diameter, material and insulation in a trench that we, the homeowners, would dig and fill afterwards. We told him the work would be done under a permit from City Hall, asked him to reduce the scope of the work and write a more detailed estimate, including month of projected completion. He declined "due to many prior commitments". (If he knew of many prior commitments, why did he bid the job?) We wasted three weeks on Belmont and won't call them again. read more

Old house, old pipes, lots of plumbers. Called BP and they came exactly when they said they would. Don't you hate when they say "between 8-12" and you're ready at 8 and they come at 11:55? I do! Anyhoo, they came within a two hour window as promised. They were friendly, courteous and insisted on cleaning up my floor when they were done. They worked until they figured out the problem and never gave up on my sludge! The price was more than fair and I will definately call them next time. read more

We oversee the day to day business in the Bldg. we live in, and have seen more than a handful of plumbers. Belmont Plumbing was referred to us by the building's Management Company, and we recently had our first experience with them. It was a rather large job involving several areas of plumbing expertise in several apts. so we were hopeful they would not let us down. The owner, Matt, is a very professional and congenial person who saw to our needs in an expeditious and thorough manner, and his son Daniel and their helper were very nice and task-oriented, seeing the job through quickly and perfectly, plus they cleaned the job site and made sure we were satisfied with their performance. We are, and so far we will have them back for the building's needs, and would not, at this point, hesitate to refer them to anyone. 5 Stars. read more
