This is where the golf course starts and ends. Well maintained 18-hole course. They close in the winter to preserve the grass. Starting January 2025, there will be disc golf in the winter. Not sure if they'll allow both during summer but this is perfect for clear winter days. Pro tip - tickets are cheaper if you come early for "sunrise" or 2 hours before sunset for "twilight."

I have always enjoyed pitch and putt but it is quite hard to find friends who are interested in it. I finally found some people who are regular golfers and don't mind pitch and putt too. Things have definitely changed. I remembered the course as being smaller or maybe just 9-hole? Or it has always been 18-holes? My recollection is not the most accurate now but I did remember just having a putter and ball and tee. Not necessary to have min 3 clubs or a bag like now. You need a putter, pitching wedge, iron 7 and 9 all in a carry bag now. It's still a good idea to have at least 2 balls in case you lose it. Weekends are busy, in both the carpark and pitch and putt. There were several groups ahead of us and we waited at least half an hour before it was our turn. If you do not like waiting, come during the weekdays. I had fun here and it was a pretty good workout. You can get close to 10k steps here going through all 18-hole.

Our…read moregroup takes annual golf trips across BC, and we understand that each course has its own policies -- but the management at King Links seems to go out of their way to be unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Right from the start, one of our group members was yelled at for briefly driving his golf cart to load up our bags from the car. Instead of calmly informing us of the course policy, the staff chose to escalate the situation with hostility. A simple "Hey, carts aren't allowed there" would have done the trick -- like any reasonable course staff would do. We also had an 11-year-old junior golfer with us -- an experienced and respectful kid who had played with us at another course the day before with no issue. But at King Links, we were repeatedly told "no kids allowed," despite there being no mention of this anywhere on their website. They even went as far as to tell him he couldn't practice putting and to "wait in the car." Really? That's how you treat young golfers and future players? The course itself is poorly maintained, and the pace of play is made worse by a hyper-aggressive marshal zipping around trying to rush players -- even when we had just started our round. After reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated experience. Whether it's a power trip or something else entirely, the attitude of the management team is unacceptable. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone who values respectful treatment and a relaxed golf experience.

The course was in awesome shape from tee to greens. Luckily we played with someone who plays here often so we had a little bit of help navigating the course. It's one of the courses where I had to use my driving iron 15/18 holes because of the tight conditions and to avoid hazards. It wasn't a particularly long course, but it definitely challenges you to make accurate shots. Not a lot of room for error if you want to try and score well. It's definitely a course you where a cart helps a lot. They had the biggest gps screen I've ever seen in cart lol. Walking is doable but it's definitely a hike at times. The day we got here, it looks like they were having a preview or soft opening of their new restaurant, bummer it wasn't open when we played because there was nowhere to buy food or drinks but that should be all good now. Overall, if you are visiting Vancouver, and want a fun challenging golf course and with amazing views at a reasonable price, Northlands is definitely worth checking out.

I already felt like I was going somewhere that might treat me poorly as we all know the backlash that goes with golf courses and black people, but I had hope that was not going to be the case. It is disappointing that a professional establishment like Northview would fail to honour basic promises of communication. Candidates invest time and energy into your process, and to be repeatedly ignored is unacceptable." The last time I called I was rudely hurried off the phone by a Women named Reagan, who decided to play a game with me by giving me her own extension number when I asked for someone higher to talk to about my issue as she told me it wasn't a great time for her. Since it is literally her job to uphold customer support in the food and beverage field, I was appalled. These people are blatantly disrespectful, they take 0 responsibly and they will brush you off like a speck of dirt on their shoe. I will never advise any of my friends or family to go here. I also got a phone call by Justin Ingram basically telling me that they are allowed to ghost and lie to potential candidates and that they have a busy schedule which makes getting back to people not a priority and excuses them from any wrongdoing.
