The first 5 holes everything was good, then we got to the 6th hole and it was like everything came to stop. After that we waited on every hole. Round took five and a half hours. There was a marshal riding around but all he seemed to be doing is visiting. There was no course management. It is one course we will be taking off our list to play.

They also do not do frost delays , so they send you out at your scheduled time into frozen frost covered ground and zero visibility due to fog . They also do not tell you that they have tee boxes closed and have mats set out for you to hit off of . 75 percent of their par 3 greens were closed for no reason and they had 12 foot wide sections of fairways set up as greens. hazelmere is not wort 80 dollars at peak SeAsian when they are charging over 100 so they sure are not worth 80 dollars in the winter. they also had no food or drink service between nines. completely unacceptable and a giant waste of time and money. take your money to a place such as northview , where they actually put effort into offering the services a golf course should have. my group of golfers will not be donating anymore money to hazelmere ever again no matter which time of year.

Although hole 8 is interesting and challenges you to go for the green off the tee. Played the Canal only once... and didn't finish. Played in a friend's Chilly Willy Tournament. It was snowing when we played in February. Surprised they actually let us play. Fairways and greens had snow although it wasn't frozen. In fact, the course was a little soggy and the mud instantly froze to the irons after every shot. Snow, ice and mud caked in the shoes that had to be kicked out every few holes. Didn't finish since one of our group didn't dress for the conditions (I was fine but I wore 6 layers). Actually saw and eagle sitting on 17. Didn't really get a chance to appreciate the Canal since it was so cold and snowing. But still enjoyed. Look forward to playing in the summer.

I was told I would receive a call or email three days following my interview. When that didn't happen, I followed up via email on the 30th and called twice in April. Each time, I was promised a return call that never came. As a professional, and specifically as a Black woman who values clear communication and mutual respect, I found this lack of follow-through to be highly disrespectful. I already felt like I was going somewhere that might treat me poorly as we all know the backlash that goes with golf courses and black people, but I had hope that was not going to be the case. It is disappointing that a professional establishment like Northview would fail to honour basic promises of communication. Candidates invest time and energy into your process, and to be repeatedly ignored is unacceptable." The last time I called I was rudely hurried off the phone by a Women named Reagan, who decided to play a game with me by giving me her own extension number when I asked for someone higher to talk to about my issue as she told me it wasn't a great time for her. Since it is literally her job to uphold customer support in the food and beverage field, I was appalled. These people are blatantly disrespectful, they take 0 responsibly and they will brush you off like a speck of dirt on their shoe. I will never advise any of my friends or family to go here. I also got a phone call by Justin Ingram basically telling me that they are allowed to ghost and lie to potential candidates and that they have a busy schedule which makes getting back to people not a priority and excuses them from any wrongdoing. Now I have worked for bigger companies then this and they are able to get back to thousands of people so I don't by it. I will never apply to work here and I will never understand how companies like this can be so bluntly disrespectful well making others feel like their efforts mean nothing. And they took down my google reviews that honestly just shows this company's true colours.

I just knew- I wanted to get of the ship and explore the town and some local businesses. With my handy dandy device, thanks to Google Maps, I find it nifty that businesses have their names popped up on maps. The name in itself got my attention. Once I clicked on the business and scrolled thru pictures- I was SOLD!! I didn't even look at prices! I knew Haunted Manor opened at 11am and we were gonna get there before they opened up. Once you step in- we were greeted and informed lockers are available, no charge. We just did some light shopping at Bulk Barrel and utilized this free perk to stash our stuff. If you decide to purchase drinks- they'll need to be consumed in the immediate front room, at the seating area. Each room is meticulously decorated! The upbeat music gets your game face in motion. We decided not to keep score and just roll with it. I had my medical boot on- so, it was great to see the holes that you're actually using your putter, are well lit along the green. The rooms are mainly dimmed- to add to the spooky aesthetic. You just need to be a bit cautious when stepping onto the green, because there's a bit of a raised border. Some of the holes aren't your typical putt putt. And that's another elevated experience that bumps up the notch for Haunted Manor. Not sure if Canada has the tv show, Survivor or The Price is Right. Because some of these holes, you use your hands to to operate the ball. You'll see when you get there! Each hole has quirky instructions on how to play. Get as many photos and videos inside! I wish San Diego had something as cool as this! It really has Haunted Mansion vibes from Disneyland. When I checked my bank statement- it was $35, I believe in American dollars for two people.

Several holes were dexterity challenges instead of golf. They were some of our favorites! Some rooms had several tasks where the signs say to split up to keep from bottlenecking. Take that advice.
