I opted for the cut with the exception that the upper body hair be trimmed to half the current length. What Chico got was instead all his hair cut to ~1". Luckily I got there in time to save his tail & ears. The groomer (owner?) said that's a standard puppy cut, but when I reminded her of our discussion a couple hours before, she started making excuses, so I had to remind her a couple times of my initial request before she apologized for her mistake. She offered a 20% discount & even figured that incorrectly. Obviously no tip was given. Chico & I are both in shock. He's not the same puppy he was this morning!

Both of the women in the store were delightful and you can tell they truly show love to the dogs. There is a designated gated area for play both inside and out with water bowls, toys, beds, etc. While leaving, he was rewarded with treats. :) On top of ALL of that - they finished super fast. I drove 20 minutes there for the doors to be locked and no one in sight. There wasn't even signage on the store indicating a closure for Easter or modified store hours for Easter. I double checked Google and their own website and the store hours on the door and all stated open. I even sat in the car and called the store and nothing on the prerecorded messaging stated modified hours for the holidays and no one picked up no matter which extension I connected myself to. I went in Tuesday and when I asked about it the employee at checkout was just like "well we were the only ones open in the entire plaza." I told him they were not open when I was there, around 5:45pm, despite everything indicating they were. He said they closed early. It's one of my biggest pet peeves when a company can't communicate their hours effectively. I wouldn't have driven all that way and wasted my time on my day off if it was communicated. I don't even care that they closed early or wouldn't haven't cared if they were closed the whole day. The communication was just crappy. Additionally, there's no place to communicate with this company. No survey option on the receipt. No contact us section on the website unless it's about an order tracking or order pick up.
