However, as time went on, I was paying master groomer prices and my dogs were being done by an apprentice and twice I had to take dogs back due to the groom not being complete. The final straw came when I paid $60 for a bath and blow out. That is correct, no grooming whatsoever, just a bath and blowout on a 48 pound dog. Today I used the groomer at my vet's office to "use a 10 blade to clean the face and feet" on an 8 pound poodle. Specific instructions for nothing else, just those 2 things. I picked her up with a scalped head, scalped inner ears and partially scalped outer ears and tail in addition to the 2 things for which I had asked. Found out the groomer is a groomer for Dog and Suds........never again!

He was the 2nd dog being dropped off. When my husband talked to the front desk she couldn't find his name but agreed that she told me to bring him in today. That's was a red flag. I believe they over booked for the day. I texted at 2:00, 3 and 4 to see if he was finished. They finally texted back at 4:15 to tell me he was just now getting on the table. Which meant he had been in a cage since 9:00 am with no food, NO water and no walks. I was texted at 5:00 to let me know he was ready. I would think you would groom the dogs in the order they are dropped off. Mine wasn't groomed until last. When we got him home he pee'd a small amount and it was a very dark yellow. The poor guy was so dehydrated. He then went into the house and drank and drank and drank. In fact he drank so much he threw it all up. These people are supposed to be professionals. They should know better. They should know how to treat animals to keep them safe. They should have had me bring him back later in the day, or even another day when they realized he wasn't on the schedule. But they put their greed over the care and attention of my dog. This is the worst place for grooming in the tristate if you want your fur baby to get the care and attention they deserve.

The second time was top of his Entire nose "completely" RAW & he didn't act right when we picked him up. He was up front with her, he heard our voices & never responded, we thought she still had to go get him from back. Idk what happened but he will NEVER go there again. & She wasn't explainative of the damage to his nose either. If he was butting his nose against cage why not but something in there to soften it? Clearly could see he was doing harm to himself, I mean who can let that just continue KNOWING it? It's someone who Clearly DOES NOT CARE
