I remember sitting at the bar and being taken care of and the bartender, being very thorough and polite with explaining each spirit and what hors d'oeuvres it would pair well with. I love the old factory/warehouse vibe of the distillery. The building looked very old from the outside with a more modern interior. It was definitely a highlight of the trip and something I would highly recommend for any avid whiskey drinker.

The beer was hazy and fruity so it blended well and felt like a frozen coctail which is right down my ally. The atmosphere was great as well. There were plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating along with some comfy couch seating and bar as well. There seemed to be some good boardgames which is always a good touch. The staff was great. They chatted with us for a while, gave some recommendations, and we're fast. They dont do growler fills or else we would have been here all the time. Overall a great spot for drinks.

While we were there I tried Rookie Card Pale Ale for the first time and immediately loved it. Same with Patty O' Beer Irish Red Ale; both fantastic additions to the list of GLB beers I enjoy. Service was great too. The bartender even gave us a couple samples before we picked our pint, which is always appreciated when you're deciding between a few options. Overall, a great experience for fans of craft beer and definitely worth stopping by if you enjoy GLB like I do. Only downfall was I found the pints to be pretty pricey. Came here for a dog pawty and it did not disappoint! I'm not huge of a beer drinker myself but was glad to find that they had kombucha on tap and it was blue in colour! How exciting. The kombucha was great! Had a few sips of beer which was also pretty good - especially the sour! The dogs here are of course the highlight of this brewery. There were so many dogs here with friendly owners. A lot of them allowed me to pet their dog - a double win! If you're feeling blue or looking for a cool hangout spot, make sure to check out Black Lab Brewing. It'll sure be the highlight of your day.

Rosemary had Mac and Cheese (creamy mac and cheese made with our beer and cheddar sauce, topped with melted cheese, shaved scallions) and Chicken Tenders - Kids Combo (3 kid-sized buttermilk marinated, panko-breaded chicken tenders; served with thick cut french fries, plum sauce and ketchup) ... the mac and cheese looked delish and she took half home but the chicken tenders were overcooked. Kevin had a Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich and fries (classic clubhouse sandwich served on 3 pieces of toasted white bread, stacked with grilled chicken breast, shredded lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, bacon, guacamole and chipotle aioli spread). Alfred had a Margherita pizza (10" New York style pizza, pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and Grana Padano cheese). Christine had a Chicken Caesar Wrap (grilled chicken breast, romaine, parmesan, caesar dressing, wrapped in a 12" flour tortilla) and took half home. Ocean was our server. She was friendly and took good care of us. For some reason, the 3 pizzas came out about 15 minutes after the other meals so they were almost finished by the time we started.
