    Dining Cabinet installation

Miguel and his crew Abroham and Effren have been working on our project for the past 6 months. We have been doing a very large project that had run into a dead end because of us being unsatisfied with the work of the "general" contractor we had hired earlier. We are extremely demanding and picky clients, I do some work myself (Miguel has fixed some of my screw ups :)) and both my wife and me are knowledgeable about construction details and are obsessed about getting things done the RIGHT WAY with extremely high quality of work. Miguel has been our partner in getting our project over the finish line. He has worked on the following: - 600 SF of Rainscreen Nakamoto Forestry Wood Siding installation - 500 SF of Thermally modified Ceiling and Soffit Siding installation - 1000 SF of Thermally modified Ash deck installation after fixing some shoddy deck framing work by the previous contractor - Installation of ViewRail Rod Rails for Lower deck and base rail for glass upper deck and scribing the base rail cover to the slope of the deck surface - Installation of all our interior cabinets - Installing the White oak front door and custom casing work. - Installation of interior doors including pocket doors, casing, baseboards etc. Unfortunately we have had several contractors work on our project so we have other examples to compare with. The attention to detail, quality of work and the patience and precision with which Miguel does his work is above and beyond anything we have experienced so far. Over our nearly 3 years on this project, he is the first and only contractor I am writing a review for. I have attached some pictures to show some of the details of the work he has done. The work on the Facia of the upper deck to the wood material wrapping the beam was complex work involving waterproofing, water drainage, fabricating metal trims to make a clean cohesive finished look. It is an example of Miguel's resourcefulness and coming up with solutions to problems. Miguel is a master at scribing and working with imperfections in drywall and framing work. The picture of the Walnut cabinet that is flush with the walls with no gaps between the drywall and the cabinet is an example. The picture of the front door shows the attention to detail and quality of his finish carpentry work. Miguel's prices are very reasonable, he is never in a rush to finish the work and collect the money, there have been instances where I have asked him "are you sure you don't want some payment for the work you have completed". If anyone reading this review would like to see his work in person, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to show the work he has done.

Owner Izik immediately encouraged us to pull a proper permit, then patiently navigated the City of Sunnyvale's lengthy permitting process by supplying all the required documentation -- which gave us tremendous confidence from the start. What truly set them apart was how much they cared beyond their scope of work. They painted all the soffits and fascia throughout the entire complex for a unified look, caught and replaced vents that needed attention, and proactively fixed numerous other issues that weren't even their responsibility. Foreman Wilmer was always approachable, smiled through every site visit, and had great answers to every concern I raised. Izik was equally patient with all our questions and requests. If you're looking for a contractor who genuinely goes above and beyond, look no further than TGI Builder. Highly recommend!

They handled everything from major structural work to open up our kitchen and family room, to a complete kitchen remodel and some other projects. Demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring/tiling--they did it all. Yossi, Izik, and the team have been great partners throughout the entire process. A project this large and with so many different elements can easily get overwhelming, but they were thorough, thoughtful, and provided expert guidance to keep everything moving forward. The quality of their work is top-tier, and they were also very fair and transparent when it came to pricing. I'd highly recommend TGI Builders for any remodel project.

Stephen and his crew were prompt, clear and an amazing team to work with. Stayed on time and on budget even after a few unknowns popped up as is expected with a project this large. I can not say enough about the clarity, communication and professionalism that comes from this team. If an issue came about, it was fully documented, disclosed and even proactively had a plan to mediate or fix the issue. They were even able to help with additional Home inspection items which were outside the original scope of the project (for an appropriate fee of course). Fantastic Job and I would not hesitate to hire him again much less endorse for anyone else needing their services. Services

They were able to match the paint and make our outside wall look like new. I felt that they went above and beyond by getting to hard to reach areas and we are very satisfied with their work. We especially appreciated that Hugo came back the next day to touch up a few things that we had noticed. Both him and Jose were great! They also charge a fair price for their service. They also did some interior painting work and they did a great job there as well. They are very professional and talented in their craft. Would use them again for any painting needs we have!

Unprofessional, careless, and combative…read more I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your painting needs. Working with this company was a stressful experience from start to finish. Poor Communication & Absent Management: Communication across the board--with both the owner, Ibsan, and his crew--was frustrating. I was asked for my color choices probably 10 times and Ibsan and his crew kept threatening extra charges for finishes that were explicitly included in their original quote. Messy Worksite & Property Damage: Throughout the entire project, the crew constantly left our property in disarray, scattering tools, paint cans, and trash across our front, back, and side yards. They also damaged our attic vents and refused to take responsibility, claiming the damage was pre-existing. The crew also never fully cleaned up--I still have tons of paint chips and paint drops everywhere. Complete Disregard for Property Protection: I specifically emphasized how important it was to properly block off the soffit vents over my garage, as I store a lot of items in it alongside a brand new vehicle. All they did was cover them with a thin layer of masking tape, which blew right off during pressure washing. Instead of stopping to fix it, Hugo, the foreman, kept right on power washing directly into the open vents and shrugged it off when I brought it to his attention. My car and everything stored in the garage were covered with dirty sludge which will take me me days to clean. Sloppy Workmanship & Cut Corners: While they did an excellent job on stucco patching and prep, basic surface prep like scraping and sanding elsewhere was really inconsistent, leaving an uneven finish in several areas. Even on day 1, the crew wasn't even planning to use a commercial mold remover despite visible mold present. Hugo argued with me, as he did throughout the entire project; while Ibsan agreed to handle it, he simply returned with a small spray bottle of consumer-grade cleaner you can get at Safeway and they only bothered to treat my rain gutters. Gaslighting & Constant Pushback: Whenever I pointed out a clear mistake either in prep or painting, the crew always said, "it was like that, you just didn't notice it before" so I had to show them "before" photos proving otherwise and then they begrudgingly corrected the mistake. Getting basic issues addressed required pressing them repeatedly. Hugo tried to convince me that I should "just trust the professional painter" and spent three days arguing to leave an unmasked, un-prepped window frame they accidentally painted--an issue that ultimately took just 5 minutes to clean. Hugo said, "well it's worth trying." Ignoring Instructions & Insubordination: The most absurd moment of the entire job happened on our porch. While applying a specialized product Ibsan admitted they had never used before, Hugo and I discussed the plan earlier in the day, which called for a 4-hour dry time between coats per the label instructions. Yet just an hour after he applied it, he started applying a second coat anyway. When I caught this and directly asked him to stop, he completely ignored my instructions, feeding me some nonsense line about "letting the product talk to him"--clearly rushing to finish the job so they wouldn't have to return the next day as discussed. He refused to stop working on my own property and literally kept painting right in front of me until I had to call Ibsan to intervene. It was completely mind-boggling and if Ibsan hadn't answered, my next call was to the police. To cap it all off, after that major altercation with Hugo, Ibsan promised to call the next day to address what had happened, but clearly didn't care enough to do so. To be fair, the end result looks good as long as you don't get too close, but there were much cheaper bids that would have accomplished the same thing with a lot less stress. If you're not willing to constantly fight and push for what you want, avoid them entirely. Save yourself the headache and hire a team that respects you, your home, your contract, and basic professional standards.

Mike and his crew demolished our old 570 sq. ft. deck and stairs, built a new pressure-treated frame, and installed Eva-Last Infinity composite decking. They also assembled our 12' x 24' aluminum pergola and anchored it on six posts. The backyard looks completely different now, and we're using it far more than before. Their lead carpenter, Rashid, knows deck building inside and out and was meticulous about every part of the build. It was clear he cared about getting the details right, and it shows in the finished deck. Mike was easy to reach and kept us informed. We had a detailed proposal within a couple of days of the estimate, and the final price matched the quote, with no surprise charges. For the amount of work involved, the job was done quickly.
