This was my first time visiting this barbershop, and I'm very happy with the experience. I stopped in for a haircut and met Carlos, who was professional, attentive, and communicated with me very well. I wasn't exactly sure what style I wanted, but Carlos took the time to look at my face shape and consider my age and professional appearance. He explained what would suit me best and recommended a haircut that would give me a clean, mature, and polished look. I really appreciated his attention to detail and the fact that he didn't just give me a standard haircut--he actually listened and gave me professional advice. I'll definitely be coming back to Carlos. Highly recommended! read more

Bello by Daniel Ross - Cut by senior Andrew ! - Barbers Near Me - Verona, New Jersey

I am a gay male and always feel safe here to get my haircut. I have been coming here for a while and I have a great experience! Greeted by the owner who is very friendly. I go to Carlos, he is the best and very easy to talk with. read more

What I like about Bello is the way Daniel and all the barbers treat their customers. No matter who you are or where you're from, when you walk into Bello, you are welcomed warmly. My son has autism, and he looks forward to going to Bello to get his haircut, and while he's there, he is made to feel completely comfortable. Add to that great barbers! You look and feel great when you leave Bello. I cannot recommend Bello enough. read more

I know it's a guy's barber shop but I just needed to even out my hair as it grows in from chemo. The place is great. The guys are super friendly. It's decorated very nicely - big TV - expresso machines etc. Chairs are old school barber chairs and were super comfy. If I were a guy, this would be the place to go. read more

Place has a nice vibe and all the guys there are friendly. and lemme just say that Ruben will get you lookin fresh read more

Thanks, Andrew and Danny! Top-notch establishment! The vibe is great and owner Danny welcomes his clients like a family friend.

Simply put, they're the best in the game. I've been getting cut by Danny and now Los for almost 15 years and have never gotten a cut I didn't like. They also did cuts and shaves for my groomsman and every looked great. If you're in the area and need a cut, this is the spot. read more

Friendly, welcoming vibe and a great haircut on my first visit as a walk-in has made this place my new go-to for haircut. Tommy does a great job and everyone who works there seems friendly and professional. read more

Great staff great cuts would highly recommend Daniel and all the barbers are great and very personable

First time there today and couldn't be happier. Tommy nailed the haircut and look I was going for; he was fantastic. On top of that, everyone is warm, friendly, and welcoming, and it isn't walk-in only like many barber shops. Glad to say I won't be going anywhere else for my haircuts. read more

Finally found a local spot to get a haircut with no worries of disappointment. If you're looking for a clean, stylish, professional cut this is the spot to go. I've been to multiple barbershops/salons since I've moved around throughout New York and Jersey and this shop is definently my number one spot to get a fresh cut. If you're also looking for whats popular/trendy these days, all the barbers/stylist definently know all types of haircuts and execute them professionally. Styles such as undercuts, fades, pomps, etc. Trust me, I used to be one of those hipsters living in Brooklyn attending an art college, which means im pretty damn detail/ocd oriented and have seen all sorts of hairstyles. This is the only spot where they would actually call back if an earlier appointment for a haircut was available to my convience. Best customer service iv'e experienced for a haircut by far and the most welcoming, friendly staff i've met. read more

Marco and the entire staff over at Bello were incredible. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and he understood immediately what kind of a cut I was asking for. I had knee surgery 3 days ago and they were extremely caring and offered me many ways to hold my leg up. read more

Always tough going to a new place -- but my barber of many years appears to have retired, so ... no choice. I was the oldest guy in the shop, by probably 30 years -- but everyone was quite cordial, and Carlos did a very professional job. The shop is clean and spacious, and I particularly liked the vintage barber chairs, and the barber pole (when's the last time you saw one of those?) outside -- nice touch! Good location, on Bloomfield Avenue. Parking might be an issue during peak periods, but where isn't it, on Bloomfield Avenue? Looks like I've found a new barber. read more

I have tried many barbers in the Verona area and after years - FINALLY found the best in Bello. The staff is beyond courteous, the establishment is clean and Danny is an artist when it comes to hair. My son and I have been going here for months and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Danny and all his staff for their phenomenal work, attention to detail and overall great experience when getting a haircut. read more

I have been going to Bello for a couple years now after my barber retired. Tommy took me as a walk in, and I have been very happy with the haircuts he has been giving me. He is a very talented barber, and a genuinely nice guy. Danny, the owner, always gives you a warm welcome when you walk in the door, and remembers everyones name! Tara does a great job managing the work flow, and is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Bello to anyone in need of a haircut . read more

The best spot, thank god I discovered this place.. the crew there is awesome and they usually have me cracking up... The fade my boy Marco hooks me every 2 weeks is legendary... all the barbers here have skills with the buzzer and scissors. The atmosphere there is great, they usually have a sporting game on, an awesome movie, or they playing some great tunes in the background. The owner Is the man, and the receptionist is a sweetheart. My favorite part is they take appointments. The days of waiting at a barber for hours waiting to be called up is over. All barbers usually finish a cut in 30 minutes or less and it's definitely not rushed at all. Plus the parking situation is very easy. Highly recommended. read more

Great barber shop with a solid crew behind the clippers. Carlos is my go to - he does a mean fade. Awesome atmosphere, good banter, excellent time. read more

If you're looking for a solid haircut in an upscale, cool, clean, and comfortable environment, this is the place to go. Best I've been to in the Verona/Montclair area hands down. Been to others in the area that are more expensive, over crowded, impersonal, and try to exude an image of "we don't really need your business". You don't get that here at all. What you do get are people who are highly skilled and very welcoming. read more

Had a great experience with Tommy. Excellent and professional service. Everyone greeted me warmly and took their time getting to know what I needed/wanted in a haircut. read more

Danny is an incredible barber! He has been cutting my hair since high school and I am so happy he has opened his own shop. I wish him all the best and recommend him to anyone and everyone!! read more

Best barber in the local area. Clean location and great service. I go weekly for a shape up and get my hair cut there once a month and am never disappointed. The attention to detail that they offer is something I've never seen in another barber shop. I highly recommend making at least one visit. read more

Dan's been cutting hair as long as I've known him, since 2003. From long to short hair, he's fully capable of any style you request or need. And in the chance Dan's not available, any of his other talented barbers can do the job. I've been to Clay in addition to Dan, and have seen plenty of haircuts by his other barbers, Bello can get the job done right the first time and everytime. The atmosphere is welcoming, and family like. I'll go in 20-30 minutes early just to catch up. Always great seeing the people here. read more

Great bunch of guys. The place is new, clean, and modern. Staff is very friendly and accommodating a bunch of true professionals I would highly recommend this place read more

No more barber games. No more driving into Manhattan and enduring potholes, nondrivers and streets engineered to make you give up on driving. Carlos put me on to this place. I currently go to Marco. First person to greet me in the doorway is the owner. I get the exact cut I want, and I relax with a cigar or in a comfy leather seat. There's no claustrophobia. It's an inviting atmosphere where you can legitimately relax. I finally found a place in New Jersey where I will willingly spend my money to get my hair cut. read more

I have looked all over for a good mans barber shop and one as I was stopped on Bloomfield Ave I saw this place and saw they give hot towel shaves which I am a huge fan and the place is great. I finally found a place to get a hot towel shave and a great haircut. The only problem is the place is so good that it takes a week and a half to get an appointment with Dan. That shows how good it is. I have tried so many places and finally I found the right one. read more

Danny, the owner, has been cutting my hair for about 13 years now. Always does a great job and helped me style it in new ways. Him and his staff are very friendly and professional, always going above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend anyone to give him and his team a shot. read more

Also, Staff is attentive and helpful and will get you in asap.Try Carlos and you wont be disappointed ,but dont tell too many people because then we ll all be booked out. Guys are great. Cuts are awesome. Prices are right. Hospitality is unmatched.

My search for a great haircut is now over- I found the consummate hair professional at Bello- Daniel Ross gave me an excellent haircut- He interviewed me to determine my expectations and explained his plan before he cut a single hair-- The results were terrific--I am totally pleased-- I was impressed by his professionalism and his devotion to his craft- He actually used my "cut" as a tutorial to his staff- The shop is modern and immaculate- What a wonderful experience read more

Great spot for a haircut. I decided to finally give it a shot after it had been recommended to me numerous times from friends who went there. Danny, the owner is a very nice and friendly guy who wants to run a shop with the customers interests in mind before anything else. Tara is the girl at the front desk who was more than helpful with explaining to me the order of the cuts that day (for I was a walk in, at Bello walk ins are welcome but appointments are recommended). I waited about an hour to get my cut (which I expected as a walk in in a mainly appointment shop) So I definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time. Carlos was the barber who cut my hair. He was very personal and entertaining for the length of my cut. More importantly, Carlos was one of the most talented barbers I've ever been to. The cut I left the shop with was the best I've ever gotten in my life. Overall, I was very pleased with my first impression of the place and the talk is well worth it. I recommend this place to all guys I know whether it's for a haircut, a shape up, or just to get their beard trimmed. read more
