Amalia taught me almost everything I needed to know during my first lesson, including parallel parking and K turns which she made me do several times over until it was like second nature. She is very alert and will point out if something you are doing is incorrect, immediately teaching you the correct way afterwards. Amalia is very patient, kind and humorous, which makes the lesson very enjoyable and relaxing. She arrived on time and did the entire 2 hour lesson. I highly recommend Amalia!

Had a lesson at 10:30am. The Instructor was super grumpy and standoffish. Did not introduce himself. Was very short with me. During the lesson I had to force him to explain things to me by continuously asking questions. Even then I would get very terse answers. Mind you, some people might be too shy or nervous to ask questions (especially teens), but if I hadn't pushed this guy to explain I would have walked away with absolutely nothing. The only time I heard him laugh was when he was making fun of a mistake one of his past students made. It was like being back with my abusive parent again and having to tiptoe around one of their miserable moods. Then when I called the office to tell them the instructor was miserable the woman I spoke to interrupted me and started talking over me. I don't care how long he's been with your guys. That's not how you treat people. He did drive me home at the end of it. But I would have much rather he just treated me like a human being and left me at the meet up point, than treating me like garbage the whole time and then trying to make up for it later. I really wish I'd checked yelp before I booked this. I see some other bad reviews on here too. I'm so disgusted. Don't waste your time or hard earned money with these crooks.

From the…read morevery beginning, Greg has been very thorough with the information he's given both us and our son. Even before the 6 hours of instruction began, Greg provided us with everything we needed to know about the lessons and road test. He put our minds at ease with is calmness and professionalism. He made our son's DMV appointment for the road test, picked him up at home on his test date two hours prior to the exam to practice a bit more. He showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and explained what they would be doing. He provided us with a checklist of what to bring to the road test appointment so that there would be no surprises. He called us from the DMV to tell us our son had passed and mentioned a few extra things that he should pay attention to. He even followed up afterwards with additional information he had researched. We are so happy to have met Greg and we highly recommend him and his company. If you are looking for a great driving school, look no further. Greg and Road Rules North are the best!

They don't respond to the first two, and the phone is 50/50 you'll get an answering machine or an actual person. I was advised to complete a website form again, and then received no response. After calling, I finally got an instructor's phone number and was advised to text them. Now, I understand that I can't expect someone to be available 24/7 to answer a text, but after three days of no response after day one, I gave up and tried another driving school, where I was able to IMMEDIATELY reach someone by phone and schedule their services. You must be extremely persistent if you want to go to this driving school. I should have tried another driving school right away, honestly.

I used a school in queens that had my driver picking up FaceTimes while in the car with me. I was over it, figured I'd never do it. But I was also over losing my independence. Morristown isn't as walkable as queens. So I called A-1 Peck. Chris was my instructor and from the first day, he was wonderful. He knew my area was congested so he took me to a nearby town with wide, empty roads, to help me build my confidence. He was kind with corrections and never made me feel like I couldn't accomplish the road test. He'd listen to me complain, made great conversation, all while giving me the skills to not only pass, but drive with confidence once I got my license. (Chris also didn't look at his phone ONCE unlike my driving instructor in Queens). With Chris' help, I passed on my first try after 8 hours of lessons (plus one hour of review pre test). It wound up being inches of snow for my test, but he helped me navigate that so I wasn't totally blindsided. A-1 Peck has such a great reputation with the MVC, that my tester even commented on how nice of a person Chris is. Really, just a stellar, stellar experience. If I had failed the first time, I would have written the same review, because you know that A-1 Peck gave you the skills you needed. Just a note, there is a cancellation fee if you cancel lessons same day (I think 24 hours in advance is the limit) and book EARLY! This school is so popular that I was scheduling weeks out. Luckily I work from home so I'm flexible and could take less desirable slots, but if you need something specific, book WELL in advance. And ask for Chris!!

The driving instructor - Donald started by asking to many personal questions. I'm taking lessons to brush up what does it matter if I people around me and other questions As I drove I stopped a bit to hard well he just screamed at me. I then began to feel unsafe and wondered how he treated young drivers. If he didn't have patience and guidance what am I paying him for, my specific questions were addressed by telling me to read the driving manual. As I couldn't wait for the class to end, the car's tire had a puncture. We had to stop on the side of the road, well as soon as he got out he started cursing out loud as to why these things happen. It was quite a show. Once he finished and got back into the car he owed me 25 minutes because the lesson ended early. But he tells me next time he'll give me an extra 5 or 10 minutes. Needless to say I will never use this company again. If the driving instructor has no patience and handles problems that arise by screaming profanity all over the road, he has no business being an driving instructor.
