I scheduled a free vehicle inspection and asked that they print a report for Lyft ride share. Online it said free inspection. I went and dropped off the car and was not told any price they just took my keys. I didn't ask for a price because online it said free. when I went to pick up the car they tried to charge me. I explained that without telling me the price beforehand there shouldn't be any cost. If they wanted to charge me they should have told me what the price was because it differed from what was listed online which was free. The individual helping me seem to polite enough but another person came over trying to help and was incredibly impolite. I was told I should have known it cost money even though it said free online and was told that I would have to pay even though I was never quoted a price up front. I said I was not going to pay any fee because find me free and then charging me is a bate and switch tactic which I'm pretty sure is illegal. He continued to argue and explain how I was incorrect and stupid so I asked him to walk away because he wasn't helping a situation and that's when he started with the obscenities front of my three year old daughter. I was told to get the F out of there and that if I didn't have a daughter he would step outside and kick my butt. Of course I censored it for the review Now at this point I was so frustrated that I had some obscenities of my own work. I regret stooping to that level especially in front of my daughter as well. So unfortunately at that point I too became on professional I definitely do not recommend that store and will pursue any options to file a complaint for the attempted bait and switch. As for theunprofessionalism I don't believe there's anything illegal with that but if that's the individuals they choose to hire that's their prerogative but of course they will never again get my business and based on the Bell tire corporate structure I will be sure to pass my review uo the chain. read more

Terrible service. Made an appointment, but when I arrive the following day at the scheduled time, my tires were never even ordered from the warehouse and they didn't have any of my information on file, even though I had been helped by an employee the day prior stating he had made the order and appointment for me In the computer system. When I reached out to the customer service phone number, I waited 15 minutes to get a voicemail. Service Representative calls back, only to say his "superiors" will call back in a few days to resolve the issue with me? I went elsewhere to get new tires for my vehicle, and I'd recommend anyone who's reading this do the same. read more

Two months ago, I went to another Belle Tire location to have an alignment performed. However, they found that my outer tie rods were seized so the alignment could not be done. I did a little research, and found that Belle Tire offers credit with Goodyear. A certain amount (varies by location) gets you 6 months same as cash, and a higher amount gets you 12 months. I wasn't thrilled with the service at the other location, so I came back here due to my positive experience in the past. I wanted to utilize 12 months same as cash, so I went in and talked to these guys about replacing my car's suspension as well as the outer tie rods. Alignment too, of course, because that has to be done with the suspension. Getting started was great. Credit approval was quick and easy, and I got a little under what I needed to have everything done. They worked on the pricing a little for me, nothing major, but probably took about $50 off. I agreed to it, and asked them to check my brakes and battery as well, since it was December and the worst of winter was about to begin. They called me about 4.5 hours later and told me the car was ready. When I arrived to pick the car up, I was told that even with perfect alignment, the car was still pulling because the tires were worn unevenly. I knew that I had waited too long to have my alignment checked, and I had noticed signs of uneven tire wear, so that was no surprise to me. They did the best they could, and swapped the two front tires so the pulling wasn't as bad. I asked about the brakes and battery, and after checking the printout for my car, he said there were no notes about it so there must have not been any issues. Upon checking out, I was asked if I wanted to put the entire purchase on the Goodyear credit. I told him I'd like to if I could, and he told me that for first time purchases, they allow you to go a little over your credit limit. He went as far as to call Goodyear credit, find out how much we could go up to, and then added another $20 discount to get the price where it needed to be. I was thrilled. However, I became much less enthused when my car would not start less than a month later. I had to call into work unannounced, waste a vacation day and spend unexpected money to have my battery replaced. It would have been much easier and less stressful to have planned and budgeted for the replacement like I had planned to do initially. Not to mention, it would have saved me an extra installation charge because the battery in my car is wedged in the wheel wheel in front of the tire. Belle Tire would have done it for free because they already had the tires off. I submitted feedback on their web site, and the manager did give me a phone call to follow up. However, there's not much that can be done now so I haven't even called back. I'm just disappointed that after requesting it be done and even double checking when I picked it up that it was still missed. Overall, my experience was not terrible... I have no cause for complaint on the work that was actually performed and it was nice to get 12 months same as cash. I might go back again, but I'll definitely have to annoy the crap out of them with 50 questions to make sure everything was done right. read more

HONEST!!!! I spoke to a gentleman named John and he not only told me that I didn't need new tires (I was told I did at Discount Tire) but John had the Belle Tire staff fix my damaged tire for free. The Manager Travis, was extremely helpful with our issue. We recently had new struts installed on our 2005 Highlander at the Woodhaven Store. We had issues with the struts and took the vehicle back to the Woodhaven store. The customer service in Woodhaven, is lacking to say the least. Therefore, when we continued to have issues with the struts, we decide to try the Southgate stores based on customer reviews and were extremely happy with the outcome. Travis knew immediately what the issue was and replaced the struts. He rode with us to insure we were happy with the performance of the Highlander with the new struts to insure our satisfaction. Worst place ever! they didn't tell us when the vehicle was done while we were waiting at the place. Person at counter didn't have a clue what was going on. Then they did something to the car that made a warning light go on (which was never on before they touched it) they pull the car back in, do nothing, and counter guy tries to shoo us out saying their machine can't reset it. On another recent visit, different vehicle, they supposedly don't hear the (very audible) noise coming from the brakes. I had it in for same issue twice- they still weren't able to fix whatever creates the noise. Save yourself time, take your car elsewhere! read more

We went to go pick up our suv and the parking light was on. So we went back and an employee just hops right into the car closes the door and is not wearing a mask. I quickly put on my mask he didn't seem to think about it. I HOPE I DONT GET SICK because this location not a single employee wore a mask. But he did fixed it. So we leave. We got the alignment done and there was no issue before hand and they said that it was a little off over the phone. So we decide to get the work done. Well it doesn't drive straight. As we drive along we noticed that the car was swaying/jerking. This is the first time we chose bell tire because it was the best price. We usually go to discount tire. I would've paid more for someone to get the job done right. We called Honda to get a curtesy check on our alignment after we see if bell tire gets it done right. BEST BELIEVE if Bell Tire doesn't get it right the second time we're definitely calling this in as a complaint. This will be the last time we ever use bell tire. TERRIBLE WORK- If you like waiting for several hours after a appointment time was set good luck. And that's if they get the job done right. You will be making more than one trip. NOTICE because of the covid we asked if they cover up the steering wheel and seat. We watched them move a car and they just hop right in. They lied to us over the phone. DO NOT BUY THEIR STRUTS. HUGE complaint with the quality of their "quick struts" and the "limited lifetime warranty." Belle Tire in Southgate put struts on the front of my dad's car 12,000 miles ago. The upper bracket of both shocks wore out after about 11,000 miles. My dad has been driving with the clunking noise for months. I discovered this when I took my dad's car for a test drive. Called Belle Tire and they said the lifetime warranty only covered the struts if they were leaking. Nothing else. Looked at ordering new strut mount kits to replace, but they cost more than a new strut from Rockauto.com. And I really didn't feel like compressing the springs to replace the mounts. So, Caveat Emptor. Don't be fooled by the salesman. Belle Tire needs to stick to tires - stop selling poor quality products to customers! Belle Tire has made their last dollar off my parents and my brothers. read more

I cannot express my gratitude for this company enough! This company has been amazing to me every time I have needed them! Living in Michigan, with more potholes than people, I have come to be somewhat of a regular. Every single time I have had a flat, slow leak, and even a pair of pliers (yes metal pliers) sticking out of my tire, they have fixed me at absolutely no cost to me! And not only have they fixed me, but the customer service has been great! From being sympathetic to my situation to joking and laughing with me (because come on, who winds up with a pair of pliers in their tire). I try to go to this location because the guys that work here are very accommodating, and friendly, but even when I've been away from home and used another location, I have still gotten the same great service! One time I had gotten a flat while coming home from a friends baby shower in Bedford michigan. I made the mistake of finding the nearest tire place to me, and wound up at discount tire in Ypsilanti. Won't ever make that mistake again! They claimed my tire was dangerous to repair, and swore that I needed to buy one from them, but they would "hook me up" with a slightly used one for "cheap." Long story short I listened to discount tire for fear of driving my son on a "dangerous" tire. I wouldn't let them keep the bad tire, so a few days later took the bad tire to belle tire to have it looked at as a possible spare, and the guys at belle tire apologized to me for my bad advice from discount, fixed the original tire and put it back on my car. And here's the kicker, the tire they repaired was in much better condition than the garbage discount sold me. Moral of the story, these guys are great, and this company cannot be beat! Don't go elsewhere, even in a pinch! It'll save you money, even if you have to have it towed there, to go to them the first time! read more

Oh the joy...shredded my right rear tire last Friday while on the way to an important appointment. A few days later I was back at Belle buying two rear tires. Not only did I receive the excellent service I have come to expect, but they AGAIN fixed a wheelbarrow tire that had gone flat on our monster wheelbarrow - FREE. My car was done in jiffy time, the guys were friendly, and why would I go anyplace else for my tires. Seriously. I will be back to replace the front tires in a couple of months and possibly for some other front end work I need done. read more

I have used Belle Tire for years and have always been happy with them. I seem to find all the stuff to hit in the road, so I often have tire issues. Today, all I needed was a repair for a screw that was wedged in my tire, not even by the rim, just enough to make a slow leak. Waited about 10 minutes at the counter before anyone even bothered to come help me. I thought maybe they were busy, but there was not a line of cars and really no one waiting. Over 2 hours later, the tire was fixed. No way, it should take 2 hours to do a repair. I have had 4 new tires put on in less than 2 hours. Southgate Belle Tire has lost my business. read more

Unfortunately I hit a pothole on Northline right before Allen Rd last week. My tire was damaged something must have jarred loose in my vehicle. After dying out several times while driving, it got to the point where it won't even start. I bought my tires from Belle Tire at this location and paid extra money for replacement insurance. Before I took it down there, I asked if they had a diagnostic machine to find out what was wrong and possibly repair it. Well I had to keep calling to find out what was going on. Rick finally told me that the tire could not be fixed! They replaced the tire with a different brand because they don't make mine anymore and it cost me $22.26. Although on the phone I was informed it would be $21.22! Also that they did not have the proper equipment to hook up to my vehicle to find out what was wrong! Told me I need to take it to the dealership! It's ok though! I had it towed back home and my husband will figure it out! Needless to say --- you have lost my business and I will never patronize your establishment again! Very disappointed! read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. They sales people seem like they are trying to rip you off, they are extremely rude, and they do not honestly honor their warranty. We had a warranty on our tires, purchased from Belle Tire, one went flat, they claimed it couldn't be repaired and that we would get the "discounted" price of $80 for a new tire. Plus they charged to get a new warranty on the new tire, which supposedly will cover more than the first warranty we had, (which apparently covered nothing?). The "discount" we got didn't even cover the cost of the two warranties we purchased for the tire. Shameful. Find a local place, and ask friends for a recommendation. read more

I was just at this Belle Tire this past Saturday (11/26/16) after my wife had finished her Christmas shopping she noticed that the low air light turned on I'm the dashboard. She drove it up to the Belle Tire to put some air in it. When she got there the tire was almost completely flat. She put air in it and came home and got me (I figured that they would try to take advantage of her because she doesn't know anything about cars...I don't either but I'm better at BSing my way through things). When I arrived I spoke with the assistant manager Mr. Maynard. I decided that I should go ahead and replace my two front tires due to them wearing kinda funny anyway. They worked with me and found me tires that definitely weren't the most expensive they also weren't the cheapest. They explained the difference between the cheap ones and the ones I ended up getting. I also got an alignment. When I left my total ended up being less than $300. I wish it was a little cheaper but they did throw in a coupon and I got a good black friday deal as well. I am not sure about the quality of work when it comes to major repairs..but I would recommend them when it comes to tires. read more

My '05 Focus needed repair on my rear left wheel. We've had work done here on other cars. I had a list of things to be looked at, and they were honest to say that some of it was not needed. I told John that I decided not to get another estimate and just leave the car with them. The car was ready the next day before noon. They said if anything isn't right to bring it back, but for now the car is driving better. They were busy and I didn't hear any complaints. I reccomend them. read more
