Absolutely do NOT go here!!! They take advantage of older people who don't know any better. Last year my grandma paid over $600 for new tires and then had to go back 2 weeks later for a alignment. A month later my husband ( her son and law borrowed her car and noticed that clearly either the alignment had never been done or that they did a piss poor job as the wheel was completely off. Having it been a month later my grandma didn't figure she could do anything about it. Here it is not even a year later and because of their horrible job she now needs all new tires again and the ones she bought are showing wires. TLDR: Exceptional first visit built trust. Ruined their reputation with me on second visit when a different employee ripped me off. I had a leaking tire and called a different location. They talked about needing to take the tire off to see what was wrong and that I might need a new one, which sounds like they are just after my money. So I called this location and talked with a very polite gentleman who said they could help. No "maybe we will have to charge you for a new tire" before even looking at it, like the other bell tire location said. Within 5 minutes the gentleman helping me walked outside and looked at the tire. He spotted a screw imbedded in the tire almost immediately. I was so impressed because I looked for any puncture that morning but didn't see it. I left the car with them and the gentleman called me letting me know a tire pressure sensor was broken for one of the wheels which I asked him to fix too. He patched the tire and fixed the tire pressure sensor which now works great. Total price was $91. My second trip I wanted to buy a single passenger side windshield wiper. I told the guy (different from my first visit) at the counter that I returned because of the excellent service I received previously with my punctured tire. He charged me $60 for the single windshield wiper! Which I installed myself by the way. I asked if I could negotiate and he replied that they don't really have any room to negotiate prices. I have to assume he makes commission or something and always tries to sell the most overpriced option first, and maybe would offer a fair price if I had stood my ground and knew what the standard price was. Only a month or two later, it already has a rip in the wiper. I treated it like a baby! I never moved the blades when it started snowing and ice was on the blade until I cleared the windshield and had the heat melt the ice off the wipers. I ended up just taking the whole blades off and bring them in the house with me when I am done driving so I won't get any more rips from them being out in the cold. Looking online, windshield wipers are priced around $10 to $25 per blade depending on if you buy rubber or silicon wipers respectively. I am personally hurt that the employee would take advantage of the trust I had in them to charge me more than double what is standard. This is my first car and I have been learning the hard way to never trust anyone, look up standard rates before going to a store, and be prepared to argue for a fair price or walk away. Very very slow. Took 3 hours to install 3 trailer tires. They refused to adjust adjust my brakes while the wheels were off at any price. They are normal drum brakes, really nothing at all to adjust them especially with the wheel off. Would not even loan me even a screwdriver so I could do it myself. I walked to 5 different stores till I found a screwdriver. They didn't have the valve stems they said and it took over an hour to get them. Would not return here. After comparing Belle Tire reviews, services, and prices to other service/tire shops, I decided to bring my car here. I called to make an appointment and was told I could also walk in and try to get service but they couldn't guarantee it. I waited a few hours then ultimately decided to bring it back first thing in the morning. I arrived a few minutes after they opened and customers were already waiting in the lounge area. Finally after a couple more hours my car was up on the hoist. I wasn't sure if the problem with my car was low air pressure, low tread and needed new tires, an alignment issue, or something more serious. I was prepared for the worst! Thank God they were honest and professional! I was informed the tires needed to be rotated because they were worn a lot on one side of both rears, but would last me till next summer since it is garage kept in the winter. no charge. UPDATE... definitely dropping my rating after I got my car back and warning lights are still on. I went to discount tire in Sterling Heights. They adjusted my tire pressures since they weren't correct for the high performance ones I have, and told me I needed a tire sensor on my back right tire. All that in less than 10 mins. I'll be going there or elsewhere from now on, but NOT Belle tire. They should've taken care of this. read more

The Manager sold me some Yokohama's (wait til on sale if you can) when my present tires were so bald that they hindered checking for a leak. I made an appointment and brought my own coffee from Tim Hortons. I was in and out in a hurry possibly owing to an appt no doubt and promised them a review. Guys this is that work product promised late last year. I still have some leaks and shrinkage due to cold weather so one of the new tires was patched by Michael J. Cross and company in Dearborn and once again in and out. I have the warranty from them and I highly recommend it. Impressive professionalism and I'm going to my dealership on Monday for ML King Jr Birtday to check the seepage from the cold among other things. once again great management, knowledgeable professionals, and timely work. Played a little game with 2 belle tire locations this morning. Had work done on my SRT a month ago at a different shop. And took my SRT in for an alignment. Belle tire couldn't do the alignment because of parts that were worn out "i.e the parts I already had replaced" and tried to charge me 1400.00 to replace it. I go to this Belle Tire most times and don't have valuables in the car except recently. I have been saving an emergency change bag in my car just in case, but hid it in my glove compartment. NO ONE should have the need to check it since I am the only one in my car and felt it was save. Took my car to get serviced and a few weeks later, I noticed my change bag missing. I buried it under things so it's not noticeable so someone was intentionally looking for it. It's sad to say knowing I go to this location most times, but this was ultimately disappointing. read more

Came in around 4:30 pm Friday 8/24/2018 to have my tires check because a bolt was stuck on my tire and been losing air. They helped me right away and I asked the tech if they can still save my tire and he said they will try. They worked right away on my car and tech said they can still save it with a patch.. what a relief.. brand new tire /car. Finally they took a 6 inch bolt out from the tire...big surprise. It did not take long for them to fix it and off I go. Thanks for the prompt and honest service... why honest?... Beforehand I called other tire shops for my specific tire and this shop is the only one carrying it. I asked them to save one for me just in case they cannot save my tire. With the plan in place they could have just told me when I got there thI need a new one and it cannot be saved, but they fixed it without me spending extra for a new tire. I bought a set of Vogue tires for my 1984 Cadillac Seville which cost me $2,000. They would not align the car because of some bad front end parts. That is fair so I took it to another shop to get my front end repaired. Mind you I did not have these tires put on until my repairs and Alignment we're done. When I did bring it back they refused to align my car even though I had spent good money on getting everything replaced. This was due to the fact that I did not have my car fixed at their location. I brought my truck in to get a tire patched, they said the tire could not be patched (Front). when I went to go pick up my truck my front tire was flat and my back tire was and the bead was off the rim. This was not like this when I brought my truck to them. I went into the store to ask what happened to my back tire I instantly got an attitude from the representative saying they were not gonna do anything about it. I was stuck with no way to drive my truck now. They finally agreed to do something. When they were getting ready to do whatever they were gonna do they wanted me to drive on the rim. I refused to move my truck until they put it back how I brought it to them. They then got very aggressive and started mocking my truck saying "it's a piece of shit". I had a "FORD" mechanic replace my inner and outer tie rod ends, front struts, sway bar links, rear shocks and rear shock mounts on my 2013 Ford Fusion. He went through the car. I made an appointment online for an alignment for 6:00 the next day. The next day I get a call from Chris at 4:30 saying the tech that does the alignments had a family emergency and they couldn't do the alignment. But told me to come in first thing in the morning and they would take care of it for me. Come to find out they close at 6 and the appointment was a mistake of their website. They opened at 8, I was there at 7:30. When they opened one of their advisors basically verified why I thought the appointment was cancelled and that they don't take appointments for alignments it's first come first serve. So they lied to me about the family emergency. After they wrote it up they pulled my car in 15 minutes later. They had it inside less then 10 minutes and told me they could not do my alignment because I needed new lower control arms and quoted me almost $900 to replace them. I told him the guy that didn't the work on my car told me he replaced everything that needed to be replaced and that my control arms, bushings and wheels bearings were all good. Chris the guy that works their told me he the guy that did the work on my car must've checked them wrong. The FORD mechanic. I left there and took my car somewhere else to get another opinion. They looked at it, and showed me everything was good and did the alignment for me and it was $30 cheaper. I would stay clear of these crooks. $900 for a job that wasn't needed and charging $600 labor to do. I called and got a price for the control arms $100 each for Moogs. $200 parts, $90 alignment, $610 labor. read more

After my significant other went to five other tire stores to find no one had tires for his work van, he reluctantly came home totally disgusted. He had called three stores before going out. Each store assured him they had the tire in stock. He got to each of the stores to find out they lied. He also tried two little local mom and pop tire stores to find out they did not carry the correct size for our Ford E-350 cargo van with a 10 ply tire. We see a gazillion or two vans a day and know they have to get their tires from somewhere. I got on the phone and called a warehouse club and was told it would take five to ten business days. That wouldn't work because the tire would not work for another five minutes. We were doing our own brakes on the van and found the tire had started to shred. So my guy made one more call to Belle Tire on Gratiot in Roseville, MI. I overheard him talking to the tech talking about the tires they had in stock. Belle Tire gave him a military discount making the tire less expensive than the other guy who did not have it in stock. Since the tire was off of the van, we threw it in my car and drove up to get the tire replaced. Christopher welcomed us when we arrived in the store. He showed us what he had in stock. He recommended a tire for an additional $30 which would work better in the snow and ice than the tire we planned on getting. He couldn't get to the tire right away but told us to come back around 5:45 pm and it should be done. I arrived at 5:45 pm and found out the tire wasn't quite ready because they were really short-handed today. But when it was done and paid for, Christopher loaded it in the car for me and thanked me for being patient. From now on Belle Tire will be my first call. I will say that I have never had any issues with the Belle Tire by my home. Today, I went to a different one by my job. Told the guy at the desk left rear and right front tires are low. One is about 19 psi and the other is about 22psi. He confirms by saying "soooo, drivers rear and passenger front..." I acknowledged the statement and he proceeds to type in (what I found out at closing time) the opposite tires of the problem tires. He wrote up the wrong tires and the tech worked on the wrong tires. Now I am upset at the front desk guy, I think his name is Luke or Lucas, but when the technician pulled both those tires off and they were fully inflated common sense should have told you to check the other tires. After checking the wheels and tires that weren't leaking, my car was returned to me. Now they are about to close. I sat in the car and the low tire, add air message still appears. Immediately went back in and told the same guy about the message. He says it should clear after driving 10-15 minutes. I've never heard of that before and I have never had to wait for it to clear before, but I said maybe this time it has to. Drove to the gas station to get gas and looked at all my tires. Sure enough fresh hand prints in the brake dust and cleaner tires on the problem free wheels. Called the store back to see what the ticket said and it was definitely typed in wrong. I think I am more mad at the technician for obviously just trusting the paperwork instead of his knowledge of his craft. And he definitely didn't check the other two tires' air pressure because he would have immediately noticed the screwup. Unless he was just ready to go home and said F' It... Wasted an hour of my time, now I have to go back tomorrow or another day and wait again. I'll be going to the one by my house from now on, on Dequindre in Warren. read more

Well my experience was good. I hit a pothole and needed a new tire. Got there about 4pm but they didn't have the tire I wanted in stock. He said he would order it and would be there first thing in the morning. I got there when they opened, my car was taken in in about 15 minutes, and done in about 40 mins. This place is horrible. Dropped a vehicle off and within 10 minutes we received a call that they don't have the right key for the vehicle. Now obviously we had the key when we dropped the vehicle off, we handed the technician the key then poof it's gone. I go back to the store and they basically tell me it's my fault and I'm shit out of luck. I asked how they're going to make this right and the manager Kevin rolled his eyes and laughed. I requested a particular brand, model, and size of a set of four tires in writing. The manager contacted me to confirm they could get the specific tires I requested. We had a very detailed phone conversation about said tires. When I arrived for the installation, I again confirmed with the assistant manager (the manager was on vacation) that they had the exact tires I specifically requested. However, when I checked my car after the install, I discovered that they put a different and less expensive model of the same brand on my car. The assistant manager told me that since I already paid, it was too late to do anything, including refunding money for the less expensive tire they installed. He concurred that I was due a refund or the tires I requested. He claimed he could not do anything about it without the permission of the absentee manager first. I followed-up with the manager only to receive the runaround. The manager initially tried to tell me that he took the liberty of giving me the "latest and greatest" instead of what I asked for. Later, he admitted he ordered the wrong tires. However, he could not provide any means to rectify the situation. Other issues - They could not figure out how to re-program my tire light (TPMS Monitor). First, they said my light was on when I arrived (yeah, right!). Next, they said they didn't have a current download for the tool they use to re-set the light. They said that if I returned in a week, they would make sure my car was included in the download. I pointed out that I bought tires there before and they managed to re-program the light on that visit. Finally, they told me the light would just go away after driving the car awhile. I ended up going to the dealer to have the light turned off. Next, they did a horrible job balancing the wheels. Due to vibrations, I need to have the wheels re-balanced. I believe Belle Tire is a reputable company. It is unfortunate that this location operates in a shady manner. read more

Now, I know I've given this place an unfavorable review in the past....I wonder where it went. Anyway, I'll give a review based on my negative and positive experiences here. First, the negative which was roughly what I reviewed previously. I had a 2008 Impala. Brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation. It cost about $35 which is fine by me for both. In the end they never did the tire rotation because the tires "were too worn". The treads still had half their life left and while they were worn much more than the back, they were fine. I ended up finding out that they couldn't get the back driver side wheel off and that's why it couldn't be done. Still cost me $35 since the rotation does t cost anything.... Took it to the dealer and they got the wheel off in 2 minutes. Strange. Now more recently, the positive. I only come here still because I have a fleet vehicle and they have done and great job on it whenever I've brought it up. Tire repairs, swaps, oil changes. The basics. So to sum it up, 1 star for the past stufd, 5 for the he most recent which puts me at a three. read more
