Had the absolute pleasure of doing business with Belle Tire today. Let me tell you, they went above and beyond. We haul horses professionally and have needed to get some new tires on our truck. We are rarely unloaded and for the past few weeks we've been told "out of stock, we can't get that tire for 3-5days." So when the Pontiac location said this location had 4 tires available, we called them immediately and asked them if there was any way to get our big rig down there before they closed. They said "just get here asap, we will figure something out." So we got out right rolling and pulled in with almost an hour left in their day before they closed. So often, we find a tire places who won't add an additional project like ours in without a day+ to schedule AND then it's a matter of tire availability. We get it, it's a heavy duty tire and we aren't normal customers. Today we were in a huge bind and these guys swooped in and absolutely saved the day! They got us 3 new tires on and sent us on our way. Oh, and did I mention that their prices were $100's less than other places! I just had a quote for 2 of these tires at $700, they sold us these three for $130 more... easily saving us $200!!! Which was so appreciated! We are so thankful for the quality of tires they had in stock, their willingness to go above and beyond for us, and how understanding and kind they all were to us! The guy from the original store even called while we were there to check on us and make sure we were taken care of! We love places like this and absolutely will sing praises when they are due, I can assure this place deserves it! Thank you Ron and the rest of the crew for taking care of us! read more

After today's visit I will Never go to a Belle Tire again over a simple tire rotation issue. I have been using Belle Tire since around 1990. Will Never get a penny out of me again which is fine I will happily taking all My business over to Discount Tire there's a plus that Discount Tires which is in 38 states so works well for those traveling. I will be doing reviews and at least contacting corporate but I'm sure it will fall on deaf ears. In my opinion it's no longer about the customer but more about the dollar. No way in hell will I spend a dollar there even if I paid more at a small mom and pop tire company. read more

I had the worst luck where a tow truck broke down on the way to pick me up and I showed up 1 minute before they closed and they still gave me fast and fantastic service! Dropped off my daughters wheel with a nail in it. She missed a day of work because the spare tire winch is malfunctioning. Belle was very busy and short handed on a Saturday. Called shortly before closing and they hadn't gotten to it so I was going to pick it up and plug it. Don't like to plug but she couldn't miss another day of work. When I showed up to pick up the tire one of the service writers said he'd just do it himself. Above n beyond. He did it quickly and she can go to work on Monday. Thanks to the man. I went there yesterday to get my tires rotated and an alignment. I didn't buy these tires there so I knew it was going to be a $20 charge. After about an hour James the service writer came and got me and told me that my tires were in bad shape and one of the rear tires was almost bald. He took me in the back and showed me I couldn't believe it. The tires that I bought elsewhere had only about 30,000 miles and they were about worn out. He priced me out some new Michelins and I was on my way about an hour and a half later. Glad I went there. My tires were a lot worse than I thought. read more

I called and made an appointment for Monday morning. Low and behold my car battery died in between my call and when I needed to take the car in. Staff worked with me. I took the tire in so they could work on it. Got the car to the shop and remembered I needed a tune up. They were able to get everything I needed to have done. read more

I realize there are unforeseen things that can happen, but I am miffed that I had to drive to Belle Tire THREE times in a week. And it is an hour round-trip for me. Originally, I called Belle Tire Wednesday, May 13th, and asked if I needed an appointment, or if it was first come, first served. The guy on the phone seemed to kind of half laugh and said no, it's just first come first served. So, I drove there on Saturday, May 16th, around 1:30 p.m., and the guy at the counter, without asking me what type of tire I wanted, quoted me a high price. I said I didn't want to pay that much, so then he quoted me a price that was a lot less. I asked if he had tires any cheaper than that, and he said no. (But, who knows.) I said "How long is the wait, and he said "Oh, about 3 hours." I said "THREE HOURS? I can't wait that long!" He then says, "Would you like to make an appointment??" Grrrrr. I would have done that originally if I had been told I could do that when I called!!!! So, I showed up again this past Saturday, May 23rd. Things went smoothly and I got out of there with new tires within a reasonable time. The next day, I noticed a low tire signal on my dashboard. I checked the tires, and they looked ok. The next night, my tire was completely flat, and I had to call a tow truck. Tues, May 26, i drove another 1-hour round trip to Belle, and was told the stem to that tire was defective, and the guy replaced it. Like I said, things happen, but three trips to Belle Tire was very frustrating. I think I'll shop for tires closer to home next time. read more

I am a newly widowed women that thought taking my husbands truck for tires at a place we have been before would be safe, well I was sadly mistaken. My husband spent 6months finding this truck and because they are incompetent my truck is broken and they do not know why or what is broke. i was advised to take my truck somewhere else after they broke it so now after spending 1200 on tires and warranties I have to come up with more money to not only figure out what they broke but then fix it. We came off Lake Erie January 16th 2020 at 4:00pm to discover my boat trailer had a flat due to a large nail. Needless to say the tire was ruined. Belle Tire got me in and replaced all 4 tires in the time it took us to have dinner. Fantastic can-do service! I highly recommend. read more

They kept my car overnight, so when they called me the next day for an estimate I was at work. They said my front calipers on my 2015 dodge dart were rusted out, I had a caliper pin missing and my brake pads needed changed. I can change my own brakes and calipers. I declined their $959 brake service. Later that day when I go to pick up my car, there were plenty of open spaces and mine was parked RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DUMPSTER. I took a video for proof. there was plenty of open spots, and honestly when I pulled in I thought my car was stolen. The next day I take my brake system apart and my brakes have NO RUST. My calipers are FULLY in tact, pins and all. I changed my brake pads (which were less than half used) just because I was already in there and bought the pieces. Usually I love Belle tire. and will I go back? Probably for convenience. I took my dodge dart in for rattling on the front end. I needed new tires and possibly a front end alignment. I went in and was greeted by Mike. He went out to see what tires I had and then showed me the different tires I could choose. He explained the different tires but there was no hard sell at all. My car was done quickly and no alignment was needed. I felt that they were very professional and am very pleased. My husband just took his truck in several weeks ago and had a great experience too. We will always recommend Belle Tire to friends and family. read more

After purchasing 4 new tires from them, went to see them for free tire repair. Next thing I knew that free repair was going to cost me $150.00 . They said the tire pressure sensors were leaking air. Refused repair, and what a surprise, they magically stopped leaking. I felt as though they tried to rip me off. read more

I had an absolute nightmare of an experience with the Belle Tire of Monroe, MI (store #82). In particular, I brought my car to Belle Tire for routine maintenance in April 2013 and they recommended and performed several services, including a "power steering fluid exchange" ($89) and "serpentine belt replacement" ($50). Several weeks later, I experienced severe problems each time I attempted to turn on my air conditioning. I seemed to lose my power steering and my car sputtered while whining/squeaking were emitted from under my hood. These symptoms disappeared as soon as I turned off the AC. I returned to Belle Tire to have them diagnose the problem and they quickly determined that someone had mistakenly put brake fluid in my power steering reservoir, although they refused to openly admit that they made the mistake. I've not taken my car elsewhere between the time they changed the power steering fluid in April and the time they discovered the brake fluid in the power steering reservoir, so their refusal to admit their mistake was unfounded. In any case, they told me that they would flush and refill the power steering reservoir and replace the brake fluid with power steering fluid, and they allegedly did the flush job (no charge). However, when I left their store and turned on my air conditioning, I once again lost my power steering and my engine made horrible whining/squeaking noises. They looked at my car again and told me that the problem was the "A/C compressor" and gave me an estimate of $451 to replace the compressor. I consulted a few mechanics who advised me that Belle Tire likely caused the damage during the April service visit, probably from the contaminated power steering system. After speaking with several employees (and managers) of Belle Tire, who refused to repair the damage that was clearly caused by their employees, I took my car to the dealership service department. I was absolutely shocked when the dealership told me that the power steering system was still contaminated because Belle Tire had not properly flushed out the brake fluid to correct their mistake, and even MORE SHOCKED to learn that the entire problem with the air conditioning and loss of power steering (and the whining/squeaking) was caused by an improperly installed (mis-routed) serpentine belt that Bell Tire had installed in April. The total repair cost (out of my pocket) to repair the damages caused by Belle Tire, including a damaged alternator, pulley, serpentine belt, and to perform a proper power steering fluid flush by the dealer amounted to $631.52. The BIG QUESTION is this: Did Belle Tire make an honest mistake and then simply fail to recognize that they installed the serpentine belt correctly, and then misdiagnose the non-existent problem with the A/C compressor? Or, did Belle Tire employees know that the belt was improperly installed and try to snooker me (i.e., scam) me by trying to charge me for the A/C compressor that I DID NOT NEED? In any case, Belle Tire's actions were either grossly incompetent or outright fraudulent. read more
