Made an appointment a week prior for 11am. told that it would take about two hours to install my 4 tires. Three hours later they finally took my car back. then 45 minutes later they let me know that they had the wrong tires for my car and it would be another hour. if I had been told to expect a 5 hour wait I would have made other arrangements than waiting. staff was polite and apologetic but I an now late to work and can't leave because my car has no tires on it. so sorry Belle Tire I think I'm switching to someone else that can keep appointments better. fix your staff levels or appointments. read more

I was purchasing 4 large tires for My 4x4 Ram.. I reminded them 3 times that I also needed my low beam lights replaced. They called and told me the tires were on and the light was fixed. I get dropped off to pick up and then the guy says.... Looks like we didn't get to the light. Sorry about that, you could drop it off another time. (Because I want to spend another three hours on a weekend to drop it off so they could fix something they were supposed to fix in the first place.). Monday -Took my car in for 2 front tires to be replaced + an alignment. Within 20 minutes of picking my car up, the low tire pressure light came on. Checked my tires when I was leaving work and one was almost completely flat while the other was low. Took it BACK in Tuesday, they said they replaced my sensor valve. Tuesday evening BOTH tires were extremely low. I then had to take it to the Belle Tire in Otsego (closer to me) where they let me know that BOTH sensor valves were absolutely SHOT. They fixed it for me there. Though the Kalamazoo location had kind workers, I am EXTREMELY frustrated to have had to visit Belle Tire locations 3 times within 36 hours for 2 tire replacements. So happy to be able to go to this Belle Tire location again. I was experiencing some shaking and road noise in my SUV. Since I have had my vehicle for 3 years, I picked out new tires on-line, made an appointment, and brought my car in for the install. Once they had the car on the lift, my "tire guy" asked me why I was replacing them. Now, most places would have just done the work and charged me; however, Ricky told me I had at least another year left on my existing tires and suggested they first rebalance all the wheels and do a 4-wheel alignment. I was getting liw tire pressure warnings, so I went to Belle Tire on West Main in Kalamazoo. I've always bought my tires there. I was told it could be 2 hours and that was ok with me. An hour later they had finished the work. My rim had a rough edge that seemed to be cutting into the Tire causing a slow leak. They fixed that, put sealant on and provided new value cover. No charge. The guys working at the counter were very friendly and professional. Sitting there I could observe how they handled walk in and phone calls. Kudos to a great team. read more

I brought my car here due to its close proximity to my home. My car had a broken hose that led to my radiator. I had already gone to many auto shops looking for the part. It was a dealer only part... lovely. They were able to get it replaced quickly and it was incredibly smooth. I read some of the reviews about the bad experiences and I realize that a few of them are coming from people that do not understand cars. Please understand that not all these reviews are actual reflections of a bad business. If you are not a mechanic, please don't comment as if you know everything. As for the other comments.... Took my car in for 4 new tires. Had to take it back the same day because the tires were unbalanced causing my steering wheel to shake at high speeds. They say they were off by AN OUNCE. Believing they fixed the problem, I didn't bother to check the tires until next morning. Looks like they removed more than an ounce??? Steering wheel still shaking at high speeds, but not as much. I bring it back for a second time, on the next day after service. Counter worker told me I'm wrong, and I actually need to warranty the tires and upgrade to better ones... WRONG! Set up an appointment a week in advance and said my car would be done if I dropped it off at an appointed time. I arrive a week later after a snow storm just prior and they prioritize all the people who came in after I set up my time and said I would have to leave my car there for the week after I was told a time that I'd be able to leave there and it would be done during the day I was at work. Unless they were able to set up an appropriate time and prioritize someone who came in with an appointed time I will probably not be utilizing their services. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. This is a lengthy story so prepare yourself but let me tell you about negligence. In mid december of 2022 I noticed my front driver tire was going flat, so I took it in and got a new tire. While my car is in I ask the gentleman to make sure they inspect my tires & rotate them. After I got it back and paid the $198 for it, a couple of weeks later the front driver wheel is flat again (this is a different tire but the same spot). I take it back in again, I tell them this time not only to re-inspect all my tires but to also please inspect ALL my wheels as I was worried that I may have a bent wheel of some sort. They said I had a nail in the tire and they patched it for free & reassured me my tires are safe and wheels are not bent. I was very relieved at the time because I trusted these workers to make sure I was safe on the roads. 4 days later I dropped my car off at a mechanic as I thought I had a bearing going bad (which I did not). After I had the mechanic do a full inspection on my car he called me to inform me that I indeed have something going on with my passenger rear tire and that my tires in general are not great. I explained to him that I just had it at Belle Tire on West Main, The mechanic told me to take it back and speak with them as my mechanic is not a tire shop. The same night my car was released from the mechanic shop, Larry(Assist Manager) tells me to drop it off tonight to have it looked at asap again after I explained to him all of this. At this time I am thinking that my car will be looked at the following day. My car did not get looked at until late Saturday morning (a day and half later). Mind you I was having to share a car with my boyfriend and we both work 40 minutes apart, so you can imagine the inconvenience with gas prices and what not. So I get a call Saturday from Larry saying they again do not see anything wrong and to come take a look ourselves while they have it in the bay. I arrive and Larry takes me out to my car parked outside. He started showing us the tires and explaining that he had 3 technicians inspect them & that they see nothing wrong, no bulges and what not . I mentioned the issues with waiting a day and a half, I asked if he could put it under the bay to show me there are no issues with the tires or wheels(which is what I was told on the phone). Larry immediately got argumentative saying we needed to make an appointment for that as their bay was full, and then of course we got argumentative back(with good reason). Here's the worst part, I decided to do a walk around my car before he was going to send me home with nothing wrong and I bend down and look at my tire (the one that was supposedly having issues) and there is a MASSIVE nail in my tire. So here I am back again after having these inspected 3 times and the third time "being inspected by 3 technicians" Dave was very nice but I still do not feel satisfied or compensated for all my time that was wasted. Plus all Dave could do was offer me 10% off new wheels. He offered my boyfriend a free service but I'm not sure how that makes my situation any better. They did patch my nail though, which they do for free anyways. Thanks Belle Tire on West Main for making the last month miserable and super inconvenient & unsafe while we had two massive snow storms. I got there at 8:15 pm and there was no one there. they were closed already. my vehicle was parked on the side running. they left for the night with my car running, didn't call and tell me they were leaving or at least turn it off. I called to speak to store manager David but he never called me back. Jeffrey tried to deny his negligence and basically acted like a complete asshole when I confronted him the next morning. No one took responsibility for this and I was basically treated like crap and ignored by the store manager. I would not recommend the West main location to my worst enemy. they suck read more

Not a great experience. They shortcut my tire replacement and failed to replace the valve stems. Two leaked. Had to make an appointment to get them to fix the frst one (WTF?). Took 2-1/2 hours while I waited. Then the second one leaked. Had to make another appointment. Took 2 hours to fix. Still have two old stems that they want me to replace. BE AWARE! We have always used Belle Tire for all our tires and vehicle needs. Used to be pleased. Had brakes completely redone in 2018 on Jeep. New tires installed as well. Jeep brought in for rotation at least twice a year. My daughter drives the jeep and we took it in for tire rotation 6 weeks ago. I had the Jeep a few days ago and washed it and detailed for my daughter. I got in to drive it and immediately noticed a brake issue. I called Belle Tire and asked if they inspected brakes on tire rotation and they said they did. I told them the issue and they said bring it in We will check it out. The attendant came out and told me that we needed, All 4 rotors, Brake Pads and Calipers replaced and that the cost is $1400.00, but luckily you have free brake pad replacement. Obviously I was extremely pissed. They just replaced all of this less than 30,000 miles ago, and the jeep had seen them at least 4 times since and they never mentioned any issues. They try and play you and wait until everything is gone to give you a heads up. So, I told them where to take their Quote, and that they just lost all of our 4 vehicle business for good. Took the Jeep to our Local awesome automotive shop. They inspected it and said. Front rotors and pads need to be replaced, we will adjust the calipers for you no problem, no need to replace. Rear pads have at least 10,000 miles left on them. Bring it back in then and we will check it out. Total Cost. $268.00. BELLE TIRE Fing scammers. BE AWARE read more

Absolute crooks. We previously had to deal with these jokesters and at the time were stuck purchasing a 259.00 tire for a 2016 Camary. This morning woke up to a flat tire that I knew needed to be replaced for my 2018 Subaru Forrester. I first called Belle Tire as I knew they were the closest to me. When I talked to the rude guy on the phone he told me that first they did not have my particular tire in stock. Flat tire- need a new one today. Then when asking if they had something comparable they just could not do that. Then it was we have to match all of your tires so if you want to buy four you can. My other tires are still good and the one that needs to be replaced would be good as well had it not been for the piece of metal stuck in it. read more

I had an awesome experience at Belle Tire on West Main in Kalamazoo! I can't speak highly enough about Jesus and Nico! They both were super helpful and very kind. I brought in wheels and tires to have TPS sensors that I brought with installed, and there was no charge when I came back to pick them up. I asked if I could schedule to have them switch the wheels and tires I had on the vehicle for the wheels and tires they just installed the TPS sensors in and they also did that the next day for no charge! As a side note, I did not buy any of these products from Belle Tire, they are just that great! I am more than happy and would recommend them to anyone. Brought my car in due to my tire pressure light being on(tpms). Thinking it was due to a valve cap being seized up on the valve stem and not being able to have air put in the wheel. So I dropped my car off for a new valve stem to be put in along with a free tire rotation. After picking my car back up the tpms light was still on. I assumed I just needed to drive it a little for it to turn off. Two days go by and it was still on and one of my tires looked low. I looked at the tire to find a nail stuck in it. The psi was at 16 when I refilled it and the light never turned off due to bell tire only putting/checking the tire that they put a new valve stem on. So I brought my car back to have them fix the nail in my tire. After waiting an hour for my car to be lifted in the shop I found out that they had lost the anti theft key for my lug nuts. Another hour goes by as my car was being searched by multiple employees looking for the one key for my lug nuts. After searching all over the shop with no luck they told me they could cut them off or to go to the Chrysler dealership to get a new one (I did not have the paperwork to get a new one). The next day comes and I head back up to bell tire to have them cut off the anti theft lug nuts which was the only thing to do in that situation. They replaced them with a new set but at the cost of small dents in my rim and a few scratches. But after 3 visits to bell tire and more then 6 hours of having them work on my car the problem was finally fixed. Now I can't bash all bell tire locations cause I have had some great service at other locations. With saying that I would stay away from this bell tire on West Main St due to their poor service and creating more problems for me in the end. read more

Took my vehicle here recently due to a power loss issue and a burning smell. Was told they couldn't find anything wrong. I drove 4 miles home and got 300 ft out of my drive way the vehicle completely died. Took it to a dealership and now I have an alternator and a starter to fix. I called them to discuss them failing to diagnose it and what they could do and was told it worked when I came in and when I left so there was nothing they could do. They're not liable for not being able to diagnose your issue. The dealership said the power issue led to the starter and alternator. I took it in while it still worked and now I have more issues to fix. Save yourself the trouble and take your vehicle to a real mechanic. They literally said they didn't diagnose the power or run a full computer diagnostic bc they had no reason, hmmm, besides the reason I brought it in. read more

Went in to have the front driver side differential replaced, three other shops said that it was the driver side differential, belle tire agreed and had the best price so we went there, they instead replaced the passenger side differential which had no issues whats so ever. The same issue that we brought the vehicle in for was still there. So i brought my trailblazer back in, and find out that the mechanic did the passenger side instead. Now instead of fixing the mistake they want 3700 for the driver side that we came in for in which should have been repaired already. We have already paid 1800 for the wrong part to be fixed. The guy at the desk was nice, the mechanic trying to save his own ass for his mistake is now trying to say both sides where bad. Not true and we have the paper work. Belle tire on west main is not the place to go, they wouldnt even own up to their mistake. read more

We brought our vehicle in there to have a flat tire fixed after purchasing tires there. While running errands we picked up a piece of razor blade in the tire. After getting the vehicle back I asked what was done. We were told that it was patched. After being happy with the repair we came out the following day to use the vehicle and found the tire was flat again. After taking the tire back in we were told that it was never patched, air was just added. This is extremely concerning as we took the highway home and having an approximate 1 inch gash in the tire, air was leaking at an aggressive rate. I wouldn't ever go back to a place that has "trained professionals" that do this kind of work. I would definitely stay away and go somewhere else that knows what they are doing. read more

I called to get back in and the person answering the phone was rude and did not help. They were so friendly when I was buying all of their goods and services, but when I needed to have their work looked at, they would not accomodate me at all. I have also previously had service work done along with rotation and balance, there was no charge for the rotation and balance. That is what I call treating the customer right! I loved it here. I had to get many repairs on my car. I went to firestone, Goodyear, and then belle tire. I went to firestone originally for an alignment and then it was brought to my attention that I needed much more fixed on my car. The staff was so mean to me at firestone I cried at the counter and I left the store crying. Then I went to belle tire because they had the best deals for tires. I am a 20 year old female college student, so a lot of the times people will try to scam me. At belle tire it was different and they always worked for me. They wanted me to get tires that were 435 but I only had 380 to my name and he gave me a deal for 366! Then at belle tire it was brought to my attention that I needed new shocks. Martin told me they were originally 200 but if I brought my car in within the week, he could give it to me for 178. So long story short, they were actually willing to help me instead of take advantage of me. Marty got my car done within an hour. I will go to belle tire as long as I can for anything I can!
