they rejected me they said they close at 6 I come in before that time and they had their doors wide open etc and as I come inside they asked what I needed and I told them what I needed and the guy said that "welp come back tomorrow" because he was done for the day when it wasn't even closing time. It was going to be for a quick tire checkup but they rejected me and I left the store not happy, bc why would they say they close at 6pm etc but have their doors wide open and reject someone for a quick service ? I wouldn't come back again, there's other businesses either way. read more

For one, I was here last month with a friend of mine. He needed tires on his car. They seemed pleasant and friendly and all was well. Well, that changed last Thursday. I went in to see if they could service my mini cooper. I needed an oil change. Walking in the lady at the counter ( Christine) seemed a little flustered so I waited a couple seconds before approaching. No one else was in the shop. She didn't greet me like she did the last time all smiles, but hey whatever. So she irritatedly asked "what do you need"? I said hey I have a mini cooper that needs an oil change do you guys do that ? She said " idk it depends " I said "well it does take a special filter " she then huffs and I mean loudly and acts even more agitated and she goes "I'll go get one of my guys " so service guy comes out she just waves him over to me. He goes outside to look at my car. He tells me in fact, they do not have the filter. I ask if I buy the filter from advance auto parts next door can they do it ? He says yes. I ask if they will take something off for me having to buy my own filter ( such as the price of the filter) his response? " idk you have to ask Christine " I thank him for his time and leave. The only way I knew her name btw is because he said that. I in no way am going to ask Ms. Attitude anything. I ended up going to Valvoline where they didn't have the filter either BUT I bought it, they discounted the measly $11.99 it would have been for the filter and I'm on my way. I'll NEVER go to Belle Tire for anything. I shouldn't have to work that hard to spend my money. Not to mention, this is Joliet. There are Soooooo many other places to go. Good day all read more

Absolutely awful. Don't risk them messing up your car! Its not worth it. Go somewhere else. Maybe even a different belle tire, but definitely not this location. They'll break your car and they won't fix it. read more

This shop is listed under MUFFLER SHOPS but, after calling them, I was told they DO NOT do mufflers because they do not have the proper equipment for it and do not have a welder. The gentleman on the phone started to tell me something about their policy on mufflers, but someone else in the background told him they did not work on mufflers at all. I got a reply on here from Jenn stating they could replace the entire muffler/exhaust unit but no welding. Suggest, if interested, you ask for Jenn or manager. read more

I just want to say thank you to the staff at Belle Tire. There was some confusion about my oil change appointment, however, they still fit me in for the oil change right away. Mistakes will always be a part of life but it is how much effort is put into making things right that matters to me. They really did all they could and everything worked out great. Belle Tire in Joliet was just built and you can tell everything is fresh and new. I almost don't want to review them because I don't want anyone else to know about how good they are! Then they will be busy when I need them. I saw that they have a free air station on the corner of the building and went there to fill my tires. Well, it wasn't working but an employee came out and said just pull in and we'll take care of you - no charge. It was great, so later on I went there for a tire rotation and balance, but the guy said it won't help because my tires were shot. He gave me a quote for new tires, and I went back the next day to get them. It was so nice to deal with them there. They were so professional, and provided very fast service. I'll definitely go back for any car service I need in the future. read more

I purchased my tires April of 2021. Belle tire is still rotating them to keep them wearing evenly. Christine knows my vehicle in every detail. The records they keep are excellent. And when I call she can inform me of when my last rotation was, plus any other work needed with the drivetrain. Thank you for the top notch service. I will always recommend this company. read more

Do not come here unless you are prepared to buy tires. This place will not help you unless you buy tires. I tried getting a sensor replaced and a stem valve and they would not change it unless i was getting new tires. First they said they had no time to do it but if i was to get the tires replaced all of a sudden they have time to do it. Just don't bother stopping here for any tire help! read more

Horrible service upon walking in, the lady at the register was very rude as well had me waiting to drop off my car after I had an appointment and then they called me to pick it up just to wait a couple more hours in the lobby. My battery went dead. Got it started and went to O'Reilly to get a battery test and new one installed if they did that. The tester didn't work and the guy suggested Belle Tire. Never been there. I went to Belle tire to have 4 tires mounted to rims for a John Deere lawn tractor because I wasn't set up to do so . Entering the place I noticed all was clean and people waiting for their cars and workers quickly tending to people coming in . I asked if they mount tires for a lawn tractor and he said let's see what you have ... he said we currently don't have the tool for that small of a tire but let's see what we can do , long story short they figured out how to do it with what they had and finished all of them . So now I'm waiting to see what it was going to cost , expecting expensive but was pleasantly surprised when he handed me a receipt and said no charge , just keep us in mind for my tire needs. I highly recommend this establishment, just like the old days , not trying to see how much money they can get from you. Will be back when the need arises!!!!! read more

Driving through Joliet on a trip north, we experienced a blowout flat. After putting on our donut spare, we drove to Belle Tire to purchase. From Chris who identified our tire options and ran our ticket, to Xavier and Gio who made quick work of the change, we could not have experienced better service. I needed an oil change and all the usual light maintenance. Usually I take my car to the dealership but I decided to try Belle since it is very close to my house. Best decision ever! The service was excellent. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. I will be going to Belle for all my oil changes etc. from now on and strongly suggest everyone else does the same! Update: After posting my review the issues were corrected by the store in a timely manner and at no cost to me. Had a 4 wheel alignment performed after changing the driver side front strut assembly only. Car was picked up after hours, immediately noted that steering was off and visual inspection of the suspension found grease all over front suspension on both sides. Returned to store for reperformance of alignment and was told the numbers were found way off and they were corrected. Was told the grease was from torn CV boots on both sides. When asked how the numbers could be so far off after alignment was performed and how both CV boots were ripped after being in the stores custody, service rep had no answer to either question. I only performed maintenance to one corner of my car. How did all the alignment numbers get screwed up after alignment was done and even if driver side CV boot could be my fault, passenger side certainly isn't. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

Due to having a newer car every shop that I had gone to was unable to service my vehicle. I contacted Belle Tire and Christine made sure that they ordered everything they had to in order for me to get in asap (which was just a few days after contacting them).
