My family and I have had multiple experiences with one of the guys being incredibly rude and condescending in the past but this location is convenient for me so I tried to give them another chance. A few weeks ago, I had a vibration in my front end so I asked them to balance the tires when they rotated them. When I picked it up, the guy looked right at me and said they checked and the balance was fine. The vibration didn't go away so I took it to another shop and the first thing they said after they did their inspection was "2 of your tires were definitely out of balance." So the guy at Belle Tire straight up lied to me. My in-laws have already washed their hands of this location and I will be doing the same now. read more

Had my sons tires done here. Great, also bought the "Warranty ". Brighton Ford did an oil change and did a tire rotation. Went back w a tire issue , they rotated them "back". This now has voided the warranty as they were "not rotated properly". Warranty my arse. Good guys , but don't buy the crap warranty. read more

Typical corporate scam. I picked up a metal concrete pin in my tire. My tires are getting to the place where I will get new before the snow flit's. Not bald, but 1/4 of treat life. I needed to get the tire repaired until I was ready. They would not repair it, said "they couldn't". I was 24 miles from my tire shop. Put fix a flat and air and drove home. My tire guy fixed it and said "the tire was ok, but get new before winter". Because he is honest and a good person. Not a corporate hack. ALSO, didn't try to take advantage of a woman. Do not go here! I knew I should've went to the Howell location instead, but this was closer to home. Had an appointment and was quoted an hour and a half. Five hours later and it still wasn't done. Found out they didn't even start it until four hours past my appointment. Absolutely no customer service. Full of excuses and very, very rude. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE LIARS!!! I went for an oil change and they over torqued the oil filter, this caused a crack in the oil filter housing. I had just purchased the car used 8 months ago had 2 inspections and 2 oil changes done and never an oil leak. Left Belle tire Hartland at 5 pm and by 7 am the next day I had oil all over my driveway. They keep saying it was due to a wearable part and they did not crack it. So they never noticed any oil leak prior to working on my car and in less than 12 hour the part wore to the point of having a crack??? LIARS and now want to over charge me for the part and to install!!!! No one else will do it due to the liability. Trying to call corporate is a joke! Now I fear taking my car there for the tire rotations will cost me more because they can break anything at anytime and deny accountability!!! read more

The store was very busy, but the repair was done within the timeframe quoted and a completion call was made in a polite and timely manner. Done with this place. Dropped off a tire for repair, not sure they even touched it. Gave some weird answer as to what was wrong with it. Tire had lower pressure when I got it home than when I dropped it off. And would it kill anyone to look up from your computers and just say "be with you in a moment"? Why do I have to stand there being ignored for minutes? I'd pay to have tires repaired - just because you don't charge doesn't mean you do a crappy job. I'll be going elsewhere from now on - this performance has been repeated too many times. UPDATE: the tire had a nail in it. They told me they fixed it and it still had a nail in it! I was a tire tech for 5 years. I dropped off a tire with a small hole in it at 10:20am, I called 3 hours later and they said another hour. Here we are 8 1/2 hours later and I told them to just give me my tire back. I PERSONALLY sat in there parking lot and watched a total of 6 tires get works on in 2 HOURS. Everyone was busier walking around or hanging in the back. Also when I worked there people had to back other cars in the bays. I usually go to Discount tire because I value quick service but Belle tire is now substantially closer. I figured the drive would be trade off for time. Dropped off Saturday and they didn't have tire. Let them know I could leave it but I needed it Monday morning because of work meetings and picking up kids. They got it to me just shy of 3 pm. I had 1 tire replaced, 1 patched. The last 15 minute left update lasted 90 minutes. I wouldn't go back, my time is more valuable than that. read more

This shop is pathetic I had a guy named Trevor stay away from him and his constant up selling . They all are constantly trying to upsell you things you don't need. I had a tire all I needed was a plug they started whining how it needed to be replaced, lying it needed to be replaced . I went down the street to another tire shop and had it plugged for $10 these people at Belle tire are ripoffs. They cost me a bunch of time as they did nothing. read more

This Belle Tire and its manager like to take advantage of females. My daughter called and asked for a price on oil change for a 2020 truck taking 5w-30 Full Synthetic and was quoted $52.99. When she got there they did everything and charged her $119.49. When she questioned it the manager started making excuses that the guy she talked to didn't have her VIN so he couldn't verify type and quantity and the price quoted was conventional oil. She told him she was specific about the type and quantity but the manager refused to do anything. Well, after years of dealing with Belle Tire (mainly New Hudson), Hartland and Tevon have lost all business from this household. The 2 complete sets of tires I need this coming fall will be from Discount Tire. I have seen this particular store pull crap time and time again. I went into this store to get three tires mounted on my Dodge Charger. I dealt with Mike Hewitt. He was no non sense and able to take care of me in a decent amount of time. They were pretty busy but I was still done within a couple hours. He charged me less than I was quoted which was nice. Thanks Mike! read more

Last week, I had a screw in my tire, I do leave for work at 6:20 in the morning, knowing I would have to wait until the Hartland store would not open until 8 am, which is on my way to my office. So I sat in the parking lot from 6:30 until 8 am until they opened. Talking to the Assistant Manager he stated he could not repair the tire until 3 pm that day, not acceptable and he appeared really not to care. Aired up the tire and called the White Lake store, Talked to Bruce there, he said no problem, bring it in! Having to backtrack 14 miles and being waited on and quickly getting the tire repaired. Excellent customer service Bruce and Hartland Belle Tire just lost out on a 1000.00 sale of new tires. Hartland you suck. Never again will I step into that store. Called ahead to see if I could get in for an oil change. Yes,we can! Was there in 15. Trae told me it would be and hour and 15-30. Which is crazy long as it is. I could work on my computer so, ok. An hour and a half goes by. I went up to the desk to check-in. My car is UP next and maybe another 45 min. MAYBE? No, thanks, give me my key back please. So, if i had not checked in with them my car would have started to be worked on and I would be stuck there? You should of asked if I was able to continue waiting. Dirty waiting area too. Plus, you should have told me on the phone the wait time. Can in get in soon is code for less than a half hour...not 2-3 hours. I am a very understanding person and patient, but the fact that no one even apologized for all of this made it that much worse. I will never go to this Belle tire location again. read more

Took my 2003 Ford escape in for a vibration issue, told them to only fix vibration issue, which they ultimately did, but got a quote for $2300 to fix the brakes (claimed only 5% left), calipers, brake lines ball joints and a couple more problems. I always do my brakes, check everything for wear and tear, etc. Once I got the car home, took the wheels off, checked everything they said was bad, found it ALL to be in perfect condition with 95% brakes left. Needless to say, this place tried scamming me out of money not needed spent. I called and they laughed at me and said, at least you got a free inspection. Stopped here with my newer vehicle because I was losing air pressure in my rear tire. They checked out my car for me and found a piece of glass in the tire and were able to patch it and didn't even charge me for it. Customer service was great for not even having an appointment. I use to go to this location regularly for tire repair and alignment wok. Sadly this store has gone to hell. The sales staff is rude. They don't act like they want your business until they know that are going to get a sale from you. They tried to charge me $60 just to put a tire on the rim. I didn't need the the bead seated or it balanced. I had this done in the past for $10. Another time I went in for an alignment after I had installed a set of adjustable rear control arms on my car. I informed the salesmen that I had added the adjustable parts on the car. I waited for the job to be completed at the Tim Hortons next door. I waited there for an hour before they even took the car in fur the job. After a 15 minute of them having the car in the shop they pulled it back out. I then received a text saying it was ready to go. I headed back and and was told that he couldn't do the rear because the factory parts do not allow for adjustment. He never looked at the rear end and never read the note stating that I installed "Adjustable" rear upper control arms. Last thing is that this store only cares about its "Drop Off and Scheduled" customers only. They do not care about emergency repairs anymore. 20 years ago this was top priority as these are people that you wanted to come back and buy a new or full set of tires from. I was told it would take 3 days to put a patch-plug in moms tire. I wish I could give them zero stars but I can't. You will get better treatment from Brighton, Howell or Fenton vs the Hartland location. read more

Hate to bash this store because the guys up front are capable and nice but the actual service performed is horrible on two occasions for me. We had a leak in our tire and left the car there all day for them to tell me it's a rim leak. A day later we have a flat tire. I took it to Howell Belle tire and low and behold there was a 2 inch nail in my tire. How the hell do you miss that, maybe they didn't even look at my car and moved it along the assembly line until I picked it up, idk. Not going here again and never recommending it. read more

I had my car looked over by another mechanic that told me the only thing I needed was a control arm replacement on my front driver's side and an alignment( Belle Tire quoted me at just under $300). Well thinking I can put it on the Goodyear card and not be hundreds of dollars that I really don't have out of pocket I took it here telling them exactly what I needed and they said no problem and they'll look over it for free... I told them that's not necessary I just need the control arm replaced and an alignment. Welp they called the next day saying they inspected my car and it needs work well over the value of the car and my control arm is just fine... I told them I wasn't expecting this and told them the other mechanic did not see these issues... I broke down and cried when they said they already started taking things off my car and here's how much it would be to fix... Thinking they wouldn't just put stuff back because they already ignored me when I told them what I needed I told them I don't have much money and asked for I guess the cheaper of the repairs... They still wanted over $500... I begrudgingly paid it with money previously allotted for my utilities and the rest of the credit card... It's been a few weeks or so since the repairs and I feel 0 difference in the way my car drives save the alignment because my car no longer pulls right... I'm now super behind on other expenses for no reason and I feel like if I was a man I wouldn't have had the issue of them not listening and upselling me to the point of not being able to afford my regular expenses weeks later. I will NEVER come to this Belle Tire or another ever again until they start listening to what people say and stop upselling people into debt just to meet their commission or sales goals as I'm a person not a dollar sign and I will be also cancelling that Goodyear card. read more

I understand that we are in challenging times and good help is hard to find, but wow!!! I was told yesterday that my son's car needed $1100 in repairs and that it "had a lot of life left in it". My son experienced issues driving home after the work was complete, returned to Belle Tire this morning and we now have a quote for an additional $1300 in repairs. Apparently they are not familiar with the mechanical make up of a car and how the parts interact. I will continue to pursue the reversal of yesterday's work and a refund. Trust them with nothing other than tires!!! read more

Doesn't actually rotate your tires, I'd suggest marking them then taking pictures before you drop them off so you can check if they're rotated or not. When I caught them in a lie they responded "hmm, guess youll have to bring them back in" read more

I regret choosing belle tire they let me down. They did not solve the problem at all and charged me $200. They also didn't do what I asked them to do. They didn't tell me how much it would cost before hand either. I feel like I got scammed. They won't negotiate the price or do anything about it. They do good work but are very slow. Needed a tire fixed because it had a screw in it and a slow leak. Got there first thing in the morning and couldn't just drop it off. Manager said it would be a 3 hr wait. He only had one tire guy. There was no one waiting. Called the bell tire down the road and they said 2-3 hrs as well. I called discount tire and they said we will get you right in and out in 30-45 min. If you have 3-4 hrs to wait BT is your place. If not go to Discount Tire. read more

Don't get suckered in because they are a few dollars cheaper then discount tire. I purchased all four new tires for my Honda CRV in February as well as paying extra for the better warranty. I got a flat last week and took the tire in to be fixed. They called me an hour later to let me know it needed to be replaced and it would be a few days before they could get that tire in and it's all covered under my warranty. I got a call telling me it was ready to be picked up so I stopped after work to grab it. This is where they get shiesty and the charges begin. With their three year no questions warranty you still have to pay to put a new warranty on the replacement tire that still should be covered for another 34 months, you have to pay sales tax on the new tire even though it was "fully covered under warranty", amping other little charges. Never again will they get my business and it was a quick reminder of why I should have stuck with Discount tire who have been absolutely amazing to us over the years. read more

Terrible experience. Went in to have my truck tires replaced. Several times I was assured I would have the EXACT tire put back on my truck. The tires were ordered and a couple days later I dropped my truck off to have them put on. When I returned after work the tires were on. They were NOT the same tire. Because of work I couldn't take the time to have them removed and proper ones ordered. Again I was assured at least 5 times that the exact tire would be put on. Terrible customer service. I requested a manager, got the runaround then was finally told someone would call me. Never received a call. read more

Incompetent on every level. I took my car to the Hartland Belle Tire to get my tires rotated, and what followed was the worst customer service experience of my life. I needed a leaky tire looked at and my tires rotated in order to travel to Georgia in a couple days to start a new job. No big deal right? I explained to them my key to get the wheel lock off the wheels was broken. No problem. I took my car in at 9am. They said they'd look at it in a half hour. Awesome. 3:00pm rolls around. Started to get a little concerned. I called them up and they said they were busy and they were about to look at it. Cool no problem. 7pm rolls around. They close in an hour. They call me up telling me they couldn't even get the tires off and I had to come pick it up... They waited 10 hours to tell me they didn't have a tool to get the wheel lock off? Wtf? I assumed a business that serviced people's tires would've had the tools necessary to get a wheel off a Ford Fusion, one of the most common cars in the country. Apparently my expectations of the Hartland Belle Tire were too high. They were closed the following day, and now I have to drive 750 miles with a tire that slowly leaks. If they had communicated that they couldn't get my tires off sooner I could've gone somewhere else and be done with the issue. But apparently communication is a foreign concept at the Hartland Belle Tire. Knowing what I know now, I would've preferred a nutless monkey look at my car. I'm not sure who's in charge of running that place, but it appears they've gone on vacation and have left their pet horse in charge of things because it's a miracle it's still running. That being said, I'm not going back to the Hartland Belle Tire anytime soon, and I recommend anyone thinking about going there stay far, far away. That place is a sewer, where dreams of getting simple car repairs come to die. I would've put down zero stars, but that isn't an option. read more

I called about an issue with my car and the man on the phone told me that he can investigate what the problem may be. I bring it in the following morning and the men at the counter told me that it couldn't be looked at and that there is nothing they can do because I attempted to recharge the A/C myself, but there is was a leak (Thus me calling, explaining to the man on the phone that I attempted it, and him saying it was okay for him to look at). I have returned to Belle Tire Hartland since they are close to my house after staying away for a few purchases and going to Discount tire in Howell. Had an AM appointment yesterday and instead of taking my car there as planned, I pulled my own wheel and dropped it off for a tire replacement. They were supposed to text me when ready yesterday afternoon. 28 Hours later and no text, I call to get the status expecting to have them say it is ready and the text was missed...no it is still waiting to be ready. Told them my car is in the driveway on blocks and I need this wheel back. After questioning me about an appointment, he must have checked and confirmed, then said they had 3 jobs in front of me. I lost it a bit and told him I would be there in 15 minutes, they asked for 30. Will definitely be going to Discount tire for future purchases. Unbelievable and totally unacceptable. They lie and look for excuses...this place is TERRIBLE!!!! read more

Unnecessary upsells! Ive been taking my vehicles to this location for 5 years. For basic services such as tire repairs, alignments, oil changes, etc they do a good job. My complaint is that they repeatedly try to upsell, even for parts that are not needed, or have been recently replaced elsewhere. It's as if they just look at the mileage and not at the vehicle until I challenge their recommendation. For this reason, I find them untrustworthy. read more

I am from Chicago and I was in Michigan visiting family when I got a flat tire. I called Belle Tire in Hartland and Bruce was able to get my car in ASAP knowing I had to travel back to Illinois the next day. I thought I had to get new tires but Bruce was honest and explained that just a patch was needed and that the tires were still in good shape. No pressure to spend on tires when it wasn't necessary. I really appreciate the team at Belle Tire for accommodating me at the last minute. I highly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to them opening up in the Illinois market some day! read more

My family has used this store for years, they used to always do such good work and were very reliable. However in the last few years that changed. I have taken 3 different cars in for brake replacement and repairs, all of which ended badly. The first car the brakes only lasted about 2 months - I don't drive much and I am definitely a good driver. Thankfully they replaced those no cost, which I really appreciated. However, when I got my car back, EVERY TIME, they had failed to screw the lugnuts back on the wheels correctly and we're ALL loose!!! That is hazardous. The second car lasted about 4 months before I had to replace the brakes again, however they didn't charge for the replacements of the ones already done. I brought my boyfriends car in for brakes, they messed up the caliper and also forgot to tighten all of the lugnuts on his car as well! As a result, 2 broke off, and his wheel ended up coming off while he was driving at a slow speed. A new caliper will likely also be needed as a result. After that, I don't know if I can trust them with my safety again. Probably will not be coming back to this store. read more

DO NOT GO TO BELLE TIRE IN HARTLAND! I took my wife's Jeep Patriot in to the Hartland location for new tires, an alignment, and to learn if the rear struts were bad. The rear of the car was making a noise like a broken spring and I wanted an estimate on repairs. We dropped the car off first thing in the morning and were called later that afternoon to tell us the tires and alignment were done but they broke the Jeep logo in the middle of the tire and were not responsible for replacing it. I asked about the noise and they told me they hadn't looked but if I wanted they would now. On Monday, after calling them a again for the estimate I was told that all four struts were bad and needed to be replaced with another alignment to the sum of $1,000. I asked the salesman (I believe his name was Don) why the fronts needed to be replaced and after a bunch of BS he finally admitted they recommended I replace the fronts at 50k miles but that they were not actually bad. He also was so gracious as to wave the fee for the alignment after I pointed out they just did one two days ago and the bill came down to $380. I decided to not go with them as you can imagine. I had already ordered new tires for my car so I brought my Jeep in - this was the biggest mistake I have ever made with a vehicle. Before I brought my car in it drove like a dream and went straight...this will be important later. Shortly after they started working on my car they called me to tell me my front left tie rod was damaged and needed to be replaced. I wasn't a hundred percent sure it needed it but I didn't want to find out later they were right after it snapped on me. Belle Tire put the tires on, did an alignment, and replaced the tie rod. They called me and told me my car was done and that I was good to go. I paid them the $830 I owed and got into my car only to discover the steering wheel was cocked 5-10 degrees to the right and the car pulled hard left. I contacted Belle Tire and was told to bring the car back and they would look at it. After looking at it the salesman told me they had put tires that were out of round on my car and that unfortunately it happens. They also told me that the alignment was "within their specs" but could have been done better. Belle Tire did another alignment and told me they would have new tires that weekend for me. I brought my car up for the new tires (3rd visit for this vehicle) and they put the new tires on and told me they did another alignment. I went to leave and now the car pulled hard right. I called them again and got Todd the manager. I told him I was tired of this, my car drove straight before they worked on it, and I wanted my car fixed. Todd told me that he was trying to work with me and he didn't know what my problem was. I drove back to Belle Tire and the mechanic that just told me my car was 100% good to go did a test drive with me. After five minutes on the road he told me there was something really wrong and at a minimum it was bad tires again. We went back to the shop and I looked over the paperwork they gave me from that morning. I asked the salesman if they did an alignment and he looked me in the eyes and said yes but he wrote on my receipt I declined it so they didn't do another one. About this time Todd comes out and becomes even ruder and tells me that they need a couple hundred dollars more for another part they think may fix the problem. At this point I lost my temper and contacted their corporate office. On Monday, I received a call from their customer service manager and was asked to bring my car to the Howell location. Belle Tire was going to pay for a rental car for me as an apology and so I didn't have to miss any more work. I brought the car over and the manager and I went for a test drive. He acknowledged my issue and told me my car was the top priority. The next afternoon I called and was told they would call me later that evening. That evening the assistant manager called me and told me that the second set of tires were also out of round. They upgraded me to Firestone's and the problem was fixed. I told him I would be in at 8 am the next morning to pick it up and he said not a problem. I took two hours off of work the next morning to go get my car and the manager tells me they weren't able to fix my car and they were working on it right now. A tech brings my car up for a test drive and asks me what is the deal. I explained to him what happened at Hartland and he told me that they got a lot of people that came to the Howell location after having a problem with Todd. I told him the customer service manager had alluded that Todd was an issue and asked me a bunch of questions about if I was offered the chance to be shown the broken part before fixing it or if the broken part was offered to me afterwards - the answer is no. Long story short the car is still broken and Belle Tire told me to go pound sand...DON'T SHOP WITH THEM! read more
