Hardly any patrons at 9 am on a Sunday. Lovely spot on the patio, buffered by ornamental trees. The menu had so many delightful options it was so hard to decide. I lean towards Hispanic flavors on the mornings after big nights out. I often look for some form of a huevos rancheros.... Sort of my measure of the merits of a breakfast joint. Although not a direct hit, the Chile Verde Benedict was definitely in the ballpark. The sauce was light and flavorful, and interesting how they do the tortilla stack to give the bulk of a eng muffin. I upgraded the side of potatoes for their supreme grits. Wow. No northerner that doesn't 'get grits' would deny these cheesy gooey savory mix of ground corn. Hubby got the Smashed Avocado Benny and loved it. Even the hash browns are fancy in their cylinder form. Service was friendly and prompt and did not mind all my questions and indecision...she got it...she loved the menu options and the joy the food brought. Next time coming in after noon to get the bubbles. By the time we left a line had started to form for groups of 4 or more.

This one has free parking, it's near perimeter Mall so if you are out and about in the morning, this will not be a terrible option for you whatsoever. They have a nice amount of seating and they have a bar to sit at as well. The bar does have a fairly decently stocked liquor selection so you can get generally what you're looking for. They do have specialty cocktails and specialty drinks so if you don't know what you want, you can look at that as well and get an idea. The last time I went I sat at the bar and had some good conversation with the bartender, I really wish I remembered her name. The customer service was really good. I went for lunch, and it wasn't too crowded at all. The food took a little longer than I thought it should, but I mean if they're making it fresh and hot back in the kitchen, I can let that go. Food was good so I definitely gave it a pass. Habanero pork belly fried rice - I've had this a couple of times and it's actually really good. I don't really like the pineapples in a soul. I would typically get that taken out, it is very filling and flavorful. I'm not sure what sauce they have on there, I don't recall, but it was good. And if you like pork, belly and rice, this is a great selection. Now. Don't make it seem like if you get this you're going to burn your mouth because this is not that kind of dish whatsoever. It is not spicy to me, but it does have a very flavorful bite to it. Denver omelet - The different outfit was good, it was an omelette though. It wasn't something out of pocket or earthshaking, but it was a really good omelette and had plenty of filling. Corned beef hash - The corned beef hash was good, it came on top of some hash browns. I got mine with some sunny side up eggs and some wheat toast and it was pretty good. I got this for a carryout one day and I have no complaints. Hash browns - so on most meal selections you can get a side, I've gotten bacon, I've gotten grits come. I've gotten hash browns, everything has been pretty good. The hash browns were shaped and fairly crispy and flaky on the outside but very tender on the inside. Grits - the grits were good. Nothing to write home about but they were pretty standard grits then they were fairly creamy. They still need a little bit of doctoring up but that's not terrible at all. Overall, I like this spot for lunch, it's not too far from me so I can stop in and eat in comfort. If you're in the area, this will not be a bad option, I would definitely suggest it.

Came in and sat at the bar area, not liquor but more of a breakfast bar situation. The server greeted me after I was seated and we had a good conversation before I got the menu in my hand. She was really really cool. If you're coming here, it has plenty of space on the outside as far as the parking goes and it's free. On the inside. There's plenty of spaces as well if you want to bring a larger party. It's very nice and very clean and very bright and good aesthetics to it. Egg Barrington - So this was like a Benedict kind of dish. It came out good and the sauce came out hot and it had a very savory taste to it. Came with grits, the grits were very good and creamy, needed a little doctoring up with some salt and pepper but that's not a big deal. No problem at all. Oddly enough, one of these also came with a salad. Which at 9:00 a.m. My salad is very interesting LOL but the salad was fresh and the dressing was pretty good but I didn't really come ready for that so I didn't really eat it but I tasted it a few times and it was pretty good. California club - It was like 9:00 in the morning and I have no idea why. I wanted a club sandwich but it was a pretty good club sandwich though. Nothing amazing but it was a solidly built club. Very nice size as well. Had home fries with this and there were plenty of them and they were very crispy. I really like this spot, I've been to it a few times. Just not to that specific one. No complaints.

On my last day of my visit to Atlanta, we decided to visit this breakfast place. I had been to…read moretheir Nashville location last year and it was so delicious. I was glad to see there was one local to my friend. This time I got the apple cinnamon French toast with the potatoes. My friend got a pancake that was huge. You only need one. I will definitely be back.

I was excited to support a Black woman entrepreneur, since the landscape of Black-woman-owned franchise ownership is thin. But, oh well, it was founded by two American brothers, Kevin and Keith Mahan, and the cafe was recently sold to Denny's. Which brings me to my next point, it tastes like Denny's! That's when I discovered this was not Black-owned because the food was so basic, no soul, no flava, no trace of a Black woman made this food. I immediately pulled out my phone to look into the restaurant's history. And most of us can agree that Denny's is only good when you've been on the road for three hours, have to pee, and you're like oh-kay, "I guess I'll go in here and get something to eat before I get back on the road." Additionally, it's priced like it's something more, but it's not. Like I REALLY could have spent that $105 on my cooking, which actually slaps! Charging $5 for a potato needs to come with some onions, peppers, garlic, rosemary, or at least some salt and pepper. Sheesh. The bacon was gross, like how do you manage to make bacon gross? Well, Keke's nailed it. No flavor on anything, and by the time you finish piecing together your bland a-la-carte order, expect to pay about $22+ per person. Sigh, but on a lighter note, our server, Shandria, was sweet as pie and served us in a timely, friendly manner. Kudos to you, girl! Looking back, Zero STARS. Would not recommend unless you've been on the road for 3 hours and need to pee, there's nothing else but a Waffle House, and even then, I'd choose WH, and I don't even eat WH. Sigh...

I also love the Ocean Blue Thai Tea with coconut milk, which is such a fun and delicious option. The London Fog is pretty good too and makes for a nice switch-up when I'm in the mood for something different. Under the Breakfast Signature EggWhiches option I got the Rio Grande that comes with jalapeño cream cheese, choice of meat & egg. I chose the french toast bagel because I've never had a French toast bagel (again trying something unique) and it surprisingly went well with the Rio Grande. This eggwhich was soo good and flavorful. I don't know if the flavor was coming from the jalepeno cream cheese, the French toast bagel or combination of both but I highly recommend this combo. My husband got the Italian Stallion sandwich from the lunch menu which he enjoyed as well. Both of our sandwiches were big and filling. I had to save half of mines for later & it was still good a few hours later. Besides the food options from the menu there are fresh pastries, a-lot chips & drinks selection, cold meats, grab & go deli options & cheese spreads to purchase. The staff were all so friendly. The owners mother was helping out during our visit and she was very warm and friendly. I love supporting family run business.
