    I have never been so enraged at a business. The owner, Robert, is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of coming across in my entire life. I don't understand why people are giving this guy business. Based on his behavior towards me, and many others as you can see on this Yelp page, he obviously does not care about his customers. I came in with a simple question, and instead of answering politely, he responded by screaming at me, berating me, and making fun of me. He should not be in any sort of customer service industry. It seems like he hates his job, and his life. Also, I do not recommend anyone shop here due to their insane mark ups on prices. You can get the same or better items at any other pet shop for much better prices, while supporting businesses that actually aim to serve their customers adequately and respectfully.

    Came in to find something yummy for my dog. I asked about one product which he didn't have but then decided to buy something. The owner lectured me about healthy dog food from the moment I walked in as if I was a complete ignoramus. "Vets are bad, Purina is bad, they're all lying to you about quality dog food" he said. He then tried to figure out what I was doing wrong....must be doing something wrong if your dog has skin allergies! He didn't want to hear what I've been doing, what's been working, what knowledge I had carried after 15 years of raising dog and struggling with this issue. When I asked him then what is the solution, he asked if I had kids. "Well, it's very complicated with humans as it is for dogs." No duh!!!! When I challenged him he asked me to leave. He didn't not give me a receipt. I return a few minutes later to ask for a refund and he refused. So I threw the bag of cookies to the floor behind the counter (not at him). He says he has it all on video. Great! Maybe he also has on video that NO ONE was in his store! I'm surprised this store is still open. So sad to see someone so unhappy, with a chip on his shoulder "trying" to make a positive difference when it comes to pet health. I do not recommend this business. Will not return. What was supposed to be a fun experience getting a treat for my dog turned into a most unpleasant exchange. I understand business is hard and sometimes we're not always in the best of moods but this was unacceptable.

    Today was our first and last grooming service at this business. The owner was absolutely unprofessional and clearly doesn't like working with people. I am a hair stylist who works one block down from the store and wanted to bring my 12lb sweet girl in for her first grooming with them. I assumed like EVERY other grooming establishment i could dropped her off 30 minutes early while I had a break in my day. The owner completely came at me rudely saying they do not take any appointments early or late and as I am a new client I needed to talk to the groomer first about my dog. The groomer Megan was there drinking a smoothie on her break and totally ignored us. Instead of understand I'm a new client and approaching the situation in a kind, understanding and helpful manner because I don't know how they run things, he basically spoke to me condescendingly and literally told me I shouldn't assume I could bring her earlier. Everything he said to me, was rude and with major attitude. Why would you talk to a new customer like that when all I was trying to do is bring my dog in early for her appointment? After 10 minutes of arguing with me, I asked for a refund and he did not want to refund my over priced small dog grooming. He had me pay ahead of time because I was a new client. So finally, he asked the groomer to come out and talk to me and she wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I tried to show her pictures of how I like my dogs haircut and she literally was like I don't know the length looking at a picture.. so now she was being rude. So after our 30 second conversation, I left the store and he asked if I was going to be able to pick her up on time. I responded yes, I will have my fiancé pick her up because at this point, I never wanted to come into the store again . Now the haircut is only 15 minutes early after all the arguing! Why did I need to wait around to have a 30 second conversation with the groomer when that was the conversation? I was so startled by the encounter and now leaving my dog with these people in a very uncomfortable situation. I literally started crying in the salon in front of my clients. When my fiancé picked her up, he even had the audacity to ask for gratuity . My fiancé told him to his face no and that he needs to work on customer service, and good luck with your business . There are so many great groomers in La Jolla at a better price and 100% better customer service. Her haircut looks okay but no bows or bandanna and at this price point to get a basic haircut and rude service this wasn't even worth it. Plus the drama he added to my day with their bad attitude. Take your business else where

    I got my dog groomed here. It was not only double the usual price for a non long haired dog, the service was poor. We get our dog's teeth brushed very often. They're usually white. I wouldn't complain about the price if service was as high as the price but they clearly didn't even brush his teeth correctly.

    Whenever I take Tricki the petulant papillon out for a walk she always pulls on the leash. Taking obedience classes in the past didn't work because she knew she was supposed to be on good behavior and actually passed with flying colors in class while still becoming a whirlwind of trouble on our walks around the neighborhood (What a little stinker, right?). We stepped into this pet store to browse and found a nice harness that fit Tricki well and had a front loop for attaching your leash to prevent pulling on the leash. The lady and gentleman in charge of the store when we were here were very kind and friendly and helped adjust the harness so that it fit well on Ms. Tricki. After a day of using the harness I still feel like she'd rather dislocate her shoulder than walk at the same pace as me but she's getting better! The price was considerably more expensive than getting it on Amazon but I did appreciate that they had the exact size and color here in addition to the great customer service so I thought it was worth the extra cost.

    I saw the reviews, so I felt inclined to share my really positive experience with the store! I went into the store hoping to learn about the best diet for my new kittens. I am a new cat owner. The owner, Robert, was beyond helpful in teaching me about raw diets, kibble versus wet food, product ingredients I should look for/avoid, tips for transitioning kittens to new food to avoid stomach upset (pumpkin!), and freeze dried versus frozen raw food. I left with so much amazing information! I wanted to bring my boyfriend back to pick out the food together, but Robert was still happy to share all of his knowledge, even though I wasn't making a purchase that day. I had a great experience :)

    My wife and I were through Little Italy then we saw a spa for dog it's called Bella Woof Spa we step in the doggy spa it was nice greet by the owner he was really showing us products like chew toys including different kind hind for your dog to chew. We brought a snack for our dog Goldie.

    We have followed Bella Woof from little Italy to La Jolla. They are by far the best groomers in San Diego. I have a French bull dog who is allergic to everything and is very sensitive and emotional. We tried many different places before finding Bella woof. My dog refused to go to places after 1 or 2 times. So I said I am done. Rob, Megan and April run a fine grooming facility. Very clean and one dog at a time which means your dog isn't caged and gets 1 on 1 attention every second of the way. The store is to die for. They have everything you need for any dog. Not to mention there cute leashes and shirts/outfits. They even sell stuff for allergies, ear problems, anxiety issues and health food. April was a trainer at the SD zoo. She also does training classes varies time a week. Definitely check them out. You won't be sorry!!
