On my first visit, I ordered an iced latte with peach syrup and cold foam. My boyfriend ordered the iced apple crisp latte (I think that was the name of the seasonal special), which was quite shocking because he tells me he HATES coffee. News flash: He doesn't, or just realllllly liked this specific latte. I can't exactly recall what syrup combination I got in my hot latte the next day. It was also great. I'm sick of coffee shops being lazy and using Torani or Monin syrups. Clerk's makes their own, and they are delicious! I also thought the prices were fair. There was a cute little nook by the window and the space is adorable. Service was efficient and the baristas were helpful, providing great recommendations. Can't wait to make another visit soon!

I've eaten at the Cider Mill which was also a 5 star experience so I had high hopes for their bakery. I mainly came to have the PBJ latte which was incredible, if I could order PB cold foam on everything I would. The service was incredibly friendly and fast. We ended up ordering brunch as well with the breakfast wrap and the Calabrian panini. The focaccia blew us away, I was licking my fingers. We bought sourdough and a cookie to-go because we just couldn't get enough The bakery is clean with indoor seating and very homey decor

Okay so this particular establishment is currently doing a Yelp experience which I will be…read moreparticipating in 4 days from now, but I wanted to sneak in early kind of incognito more or less just a check the place out as a random everyday customer. First off it was super easy to find, I was a little disappointed because there wasn't very much parking out front however once I went in and saw that there was a back door with a huge parking lot, yeah I got over that pretty quick. It's a small little coffee shop, I think there was maybe five or six tables in a dining area, a couple of tables on the sidewalk out front, and a small counter in the back with three people very busily working making the espressos and the cappuccinos etc.. I didn't catch the name but the lady I was talking to behind the counter was very pleasant, and seemed like she actually enjoyed being there which I'm saying because a lot of places I go you can tell with the people that work there are just in a bad mood maybe they don't want to be where they're at.. she seemed like she was enjoying herself. (If that makes any sense at all) They have a very small selection of pastries and donuts and stuff on the counter, I kind of expected it to be a little larger and the girl and I were talking about it she said that another hour from now they will get a delivery even though there will be more stuff it'll all still fit in that little display case. I mean it's not a bad thing, they mainly serve the caffeinated things, these are just little pastries to go with it, not like I was at a donut shop... I grabbed a few macaroons, a pistachio muffin and a little coconut pie thingy. I haven't tried any of it yet but it definitely looked good, then I'm going to go on the assumption that it is, so if I don't come back and update this, everything tasted wonderful. The place itself was super clean inside, very well lit, and like I said everybody seem to be having a good time. The only thing I could maybe count as a downside is that for what I purchased, without tasting anything yet, seemed a bit pricey... However... My business brain sometimes kicks in and I can imagine how much it cost to rent that little corner of that building, in New Hartford New York which is a buried decent upscale section to be in for that area plus they're overhead, and the amount of product that they could possibly move being a smaller store so yeah with all that, the price is what it is. I'll definitely come back, in fact I'll come back in 4 days because I'm participating in the Yelp experience thing, and I'm looking forward to it. Some of the drinks I was watching them make looked rather delicious.

We ordered a Lavender Haze Latte, Pistachio Matcha, and a Lemon Pustie. It was my first time trying a pustie, and it was very soft and delicious. Both I and my partner got paninis, which took about 15 minutes, which felt like a bit too long for a counter service place, though I understand that paninis take time. The BLT panini was a bit greasy, but overall the flavor was good. The Chick-fil-a panini was not as greasy, but overall underwhelming. It was served in a classic American basket with chips, which felt out of place for a Cafe inspired by Italy. They primarily serve pastries, but I have never tried any of them. The coffee was very good... on Google this is the first place that pops up if you search for affogato in the area but they do NOT serve affogato, which I knew coming in due to having been here before, but just putting this in here in case anyone else is looking for an affogato spot! The Cafe is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking... doesn't feel very pedestrian friendly but there is a beautiful terrace for customers which adds to the European vibe.

After finally visiting, I can honestly say the pictures don't do this place justice. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and somehow elevated at the same time. It felt less like a coffee shop and more like hanging out in a friend's beautifully decorated home. I spent a few hours there editing a YouTube video, and it was exactly the type of environment I've been searching for. Since it was my first visit, I wanted to try a few different things. I ordered the strawberry vanilla matcha, which was surprisingly good. It was a little sweeter than I expected, but the flavor was excellent. I'm not usually a matcha girl, but I'd definitely order it again. Their menu is extensive, with several drink options, flavored matchas, pastries, cheesecakes, and even the viral fruit pastries that I saw several customers purchasing while I was there. One thing that really stood out to me was that they actually offer food. I ordered a jerk beef patty and a jumbo apple fritter, both of which were delicious. They also had other savory options available, including spinach pie and additional patties. As someone who arrived hungry, I appreciated having more substantial options than the typical coffee shop pastry selection. The staff were wonderful. They mentioned that they love welcoming new guests, and it definitely showed. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and patient while I stood there trying to decide what I wanted to order. I never felt rushed, and they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The only thing to keep in mind is parking. Since Milano is located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, you'll most likely need to park on the street. If you're visiting before 6 p.m., be prepared to pay for parking. Overall, I had a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the customer service. I'll definitely be back, and Milano has quickly become one of the strongest contenders in my search for the perfect late-night coffee shop.
