Been coming here for a bit now, and I have to say I love how this place as evolved over the last few years. The team has curated a delicious and refreshing drink menu that caters to so many different tastes, there is absolutely something for everyone. Personally, I am a big lover of their hot chocolate, they make it perfect temperature, where it isn't steaming hot but hot enough it's very pleasant to drink without hurting yourself, and they do it so consistently. The baked goods they get are phenomenal, and their own in-house burritos, breakfast squares, and quiches are fantastic and filling! Service is great, the team is friendly and helpful! My favorite part though is the atmosphere of the cafe. Always good music, great art hanging everywhere, it truly feels integrated with the community. I have driven by this place several times and wanted to try this cute coffee shop. Finally got a chance to try. While, it was a cute artsy place was really turned off by litter box smell and a sink in main area filled with dirty dishes. Not sure if there were cats there but would have helped to let customers know who may have cat allergies. Coffee and Tea drinks were OK but definitely nothing special. Had the potential to be something great. read more

Love the interesting coffees and teas. They had a toasted marshmallow matcha that was to die for! Also their waffle with maple butter are amazing. Love stores that have book exchanges got this fabulous take on taming of the shrew in iambic pentameter no less! read more

Got my first news of this place opening back in early 2022 when stopping in Utica for coffee. Since then I couldn't wait for my next work outing to upstate NY to stop by Superofficial. Sadly, I waited and waited and the time wasn't coming. I watched on social media as Superofficial churned out drinks for folks on the daily. I watched with envy. How could all these people be enjoying their drinks when I have to look on from afar (RI) after being so excited to try this new coffee shop for so long? The months trickled by, and the anticipation only grew. Finally, almost a year after Superofficials opening, I had my opportunity. While traveling back to RI from Buffalo I was in dire need of a pick-me-up and more than willing to make a quick detour off I-90. The shop is in a great space, sharing the building with an art studio that decorates the walls nicely. I ordered a go-to for me whenever I see it on the menu, an Espresso Tonic (with citrus bitters). My drink was made with care, no foaming, no premature melting ice, just creamy espresso over delicious tonic water. The taste reflected the care. A delicious warm weather (or sunny day) refresher made perfectly. Along with the great drink, if you truly care about your beans and how you brew them, their selection of Sey coffee is stellar. The Barista is fantastic at helping you make a choice based on your preferences and brew method. I'm happy to say I have a box at home waiting for the right moment to break into. Theres no other coffee shop like it! Most people think of a fancy drink as something with 4 pumps of mystery syrup, but you wont see a wall of "flavors" here. Each drink is made with actual ingredients by people who have studied the science and art behind their craft to make a simply delightful drink. Superofficial is easily better than the swanky coffee shops of NYC. They make great use of a small space and welcome well behaved dogs inside and out. They also have a good selection of fresh baked goods from around the local area as well as a kick-butt breakfast burrito on the weekend. What a lovely cafe! superofficial is a beautifully designed eclectic cafe with an attractive seasonal drink menu and a wide array of coffee and milk options. The space is filled with thriving plants, old board games, and DVDs, as well as a mass collection of art and jewelry from local artists. There is outdoor seating as well as limited indoor seating, including an amazingly comfortable baby pink couch which I adore. superofficial also sells niche canned drinks, cafe equipment, and a small selection of cooking items such as sauces and oils. So happy Superofficial (Super Official?) is finally open. This coffee shop is located inside The Copper Easel on W. Dominick St. They have a really nice selection of coffee and tea, and the barista is so helpful and ready to answer any questions and find you the right beverage. They have some cute merchandise for sale; it's co-located inside the art gallery so there is a lot of beautiful art and photography to look at while you're waiting for your drink. There is indoor and outdoor seating, great now that the weather is getting warmer. I tried the iced cherry mocha latte, which is not on the menu yet but the barista will make it for you! It was excellent, not too sweet and just what I needed to get through the 2 o'clock crunch. A welcome addition to the downtown Rome scene. read more
