Fantastic coffee. Very surprising house coffee. This food truck was very underrated but coffee was great.

Another day, another microwaved egg. The E isn't the only thing missing from this place. Not all hope is lost though, they break out the plug-in griddle on weekends. 120 volts to egg freedom- that's when they will actually fry an egg. Today they fried my nerves, and to make the sandwich even less egg-cellent they put TWO TINY LINKS for the sausage on a sausage egg and cheese. Not appetizing. The owners response- " Been doin it that way 20 years" Great customer service, Pal. That doesn't mean you've done it RIGHT for 20 years. Very nice staff and pleasant place to do work. There's no bathroom inside the shop itself but there's one in a connecting hall less than 10 steps away that's very clean. I got a London fog with herbal tea and it was delicious. The staff was courteous and brought my food to where I was seated. Very relaxed calm environment and when you step outside your car to head in, the aroma is appealing. They have a lot of items to choose from and fresh fun bakery goods each day. read more

Super phenomenal dark roast coffee. Came back each morning of my two day trip. Worth the extra 5 minutes to avoid hotel coffee. Had the breakfast burrito the first day and it was pretty good. You definitely know you are in the north when you ask for hot sauce and they hand you three Franks packets..... Good place, highly recommend. It's a cute place in Rome, it's not competing with many other businesses, but for Rome you'd expect the prices to be a bit lower and perhaps a more dynamic menu and hours to draw in the younger crowd. The place closes at 3-330 pm and they are missing out on teens coming in after school, just a thought. I would purchase gift cards for my nieces but they'd probably just go to waste because they wouldn't be able to make it in during the limited hours. Service is fine. Coffee is pretty good! Lastly, why is there not a convenient menu to review? It's lying flat on the counter and you don't really notice it and you have to hurry when there's a line. We're not regulars and we'd like to review it when we do come in. read more

What a great spot this is for a yummy specialty coffee beverage and breakfast/lunch/snack. The front of house staff were all very pleasant, especially the young woman who took our order. She knows how to treat people and was very very pleasant & welcoming. My mom & I each had lattes which were delicious along with quiches and salads. Coffee is good, food is good, but service is only fair and prices are crazy high. I think that Spressos is a good enough place, but they're way overpriced in my opinion. We have many friends that have been there and it seems like we all get the same vibe. My wife and I recently stopped in for breakfast to go - she had a smoothly and I ordered a breakfast sandwich - but the sandwich took a ridiculously long time to come out. How long does it take to make a sandwich? Seemed too long, but maybe they were having an "off" day when I was there. All in all the quality of food was good, they make a good cup of coffee, but cost and service are worth noting as deficiencies. read more

Stopped by to get some coffee. From the outside, it doesn't look like a coffee shop but from the inside it does. They have a large selection of coffee flavors. I ended up going with the cappuccino and cinnamon roll. The cappuccino was delightful and the cinnamon roll was very frosty. Overall both were good. Five stars for food and friendliness. The staff is so sweet and wonderful, and they will remember you after you've been in there just one time. There are always creative seasonal drinks; around Halloween they have a witches brew latte with chocolate and lavender that hits the spot. I can't say enough about their breakfast sandwiches, which I would recommend getting on one of their house made croissants. The bacon is crisped just right. The eggs are so fluffy, and the cheese is a nice, light cheddar. You won't find a better breakfast sammie anywhere else, except maybe Ozzie's in Old Forge, which is over an hour away. However, two stars for the service, in the sense that it takes FOREVER to get your food, whether you're sitting in or getting it to go. Doesn't matter if it's deserted or packed (although plan on waiting even longer if it is packed), you will find yourself in the middle of an intolerable wait. Recently, a coworker and I went, and he got a latte and I got a piece of quiche, which is premade and just needs to be heated up. We waited twenty minutes. Seriously, I don't know what's going on in the kitchen, but it is slower than molassss in January. And that's not the exception - I have regularly waited 15-25 minutes for a panini. If they could just take care of this one little quirk, it would be five stars all around. read more

Left early to pick up order to get to work on time to set up for meeting -- girl at counter says we don't have any order for you ... checks in back ... oh that wasn't for today. Ummm yes it was -- well did you want to wait? Or come back? No -- I'd like you to do your job because now I'm late for meeting and have no pastries. Asked for owner to call me -- no call. Never again. Suggest you don't either. Update - spoke with owner this morning. Owned mistake, spoke to employees, agreed better training needed or how to handle 'in the moment' to make it right. I appreciate the follow up and will give them another try because I do enjoy what they have to offer. read more

Awesome food and cafe! I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla pizza with a chai latte. They brought out a chicken quesadilla pizza. They wanted to remake it and I said it was ok. So later they offered me a free pastry. I took them up on the offer and got the chocolate creme filled macaroon or something. Man was it good! This place is really hopping. The entire staff is so personable it makes it such a nice place to go - they will remember your order & your name if you go there a few times. You always see people there that you know, either beyond the counter working or sitting enjoying a nice coffee. Great customer service here!! We had a 10 item lunch order we placed during the lunch rush over the phone and it was a piece of cake. Ready in 20 minutes and took us out of the line to ring us up quickly. All the meals were individually labeled for our passengers and well packaged.
