The Grilled Ham and Gruyère Cheese Sandwich on a crispy crunchy Sourdough bread was delicious. Waitress brought over some Dijon Aioli which really took this sandwich to the next level. The side salad was a meal in and of itself. Loved the dressing that came with it. The classic Turkey was no slouch either. Ingredients were fresh with just the right amount of meat and complementary ingredients. Looking forward to coming back again and trying other menu items. So many items on the menu I would love to try that makes another visit a must. This quaint cafe is a great place to come for brunch or lunch. Staff were warm and friendly too. I also got a small hot Chai with oat milk. My daughter got a prosciutto sammy and a strawberry lemonade. Not gonna lie, just for a few items, it was close to 35 bucks. The price point is pretty high here. I can appreciate the prices but it was pretty steep for a few things. My chai was good. The oat milk and tea was balanced. It didn't over power one another. My bagels were very soft and fresh! I did ask for them to be toasted and they weren't. The bagels were very chewy so it would have been nice to have a crunchy texture to the bagel. My daughter's lemonade was refreshing and tart. I didn't get a chance to try her sammy but can anything with prosciutto be bad? It was neat stopping into this local coffee joint. It's darling and cute. If I had my own spot, I would probably have a similar spot. You're going to find some sweet treats and good drinks here. I enjoyed my drink very much. I visited during Labor Day weekend, right before they close until spring. The pumpkin cream cold brew was great. Aside from baked goods, Shorebreak had sandwiches available and were also selling squares of Utica tomato pie. Service was friendly and quick. Went back in for something sweet and got some wonderful donuts. There is nothing fancy here but they make some of the best bakery items around. The family owned and operated business adds to the charm. They are warm and friendly and it was so nice to met them and try some of their baked goods. My plans for Mother's Day fell through on the Friday before Mother's Day. I called The Farm House…read morethat morning and was able to get reservations for four on Sunday morning at 9am. When my family entered the restaurant, we immediately like the rustic country decor. We were immediately greeted by a woman who confirmed our reservations and showed us to our table. The restaurant was quickly filling up and it took a few moments for a server to come to our table. After about 15-20 minutes it seemed like the staff got it going and food was coming out to tables and customers that ordered the Mother's Day brunch were getting their food quickly. My kids ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. One with game and one with sausage. My daughter is very picky with her pancakes and ate them all. I had the brunch. I had eggs Benedict, spinach omelette, ham and cheese omelette, bacon, fresh fruit, and two croissants. The food was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to stopping by again.
