Cute shop on Main St we were full from eating nearby but cannot resist trying new places and pastry was calling. So many great looking pastries I went with the lemon blueberry fresh blueberries in a light fluffy just enough lemon crème filling a flaky pastry shell so yum! Other one was chocolate peanut butter rich and filling delicious. There were gluten free options, coffees, juices, man's other drinks. So glad we stopped! Wishing them all the best but knowing those pastries will make it happen. read more

This cute little coffee shop is about 5 minutes from our Vrbo. Walking to this joint was so nice this morning. It's just a straight shot. Walking in, you are instantly greeted by a cute barista. You notice all the goodies in the display cases. The pastries all looked so good! The brownie and rice Krispy treat was massive! The cookies looked delicious. The muffins were hearty looking. It was hard to pick what kind of goody I wanted. I got my husband and I a bagel with cream cheese. I also got a small hot Chai with oat milk. My daughter got a prosciutto sammy and a strawberry lemonade. Not gonna lie, just for a few items, it was close to 35 bucks. The price point is pretty high here. I can appreciate the prices but it was pretty steep for a few things. My chai was good. The oat milk and tea was balanced. It didn't over power one another. My bagels were very soft and fresh! I did ask for them to be toasted and they weren't. The bagels were very chewy so it would have been nice to have a crunchy texture to the bagel. My daughter's lemonade was refreshing and tart. I didn't get a chance to try her sammy but can anything with prosciutto be bad? It was neat stopping into this local coffee joint. It's darling and cute. If I had my own spot, I would probably have a similar spot. You're going to find some sweet treats and good drinks here. I enjoyed my drink very much. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu while I'm staying here at Slyvan Beach. read more

Shorebreak Bakery Cafe is a great addition to Sylvan Beach Main Street. There was a real lack of a dedicated coffee shop as well a bakery in town, but Shorebreak does a good job of filling both roles. I visited during Labor Day weekend, right before they close until spring. The pumpkin cream cold brew was great. Aside from baked goods, Shorebreak had sandwiches available and were also selling squares of Utica tomato pie. Service was friendly and quick. While I wish I could stop in for a coffee and a pastry in the dead of winter, I understand the limits of operating in a seasonal town. See you when the snow melts, Shorebreak! read more

I wouid give 5 stars for friendly service but no stars for your ridiculously high prices . Two small coffees and two donuts over $18? I should of walked out and headed to dunkin donuts at savon at the roundabout for medium coffees and two donuts for less than half this price. Your rent must be so high that you have to proce gouge customers. Business 101 better to make a hundred dollars ten times than a thousand dollars once and then never again. Go to flos diner folks just a couple miles west of the roundabout on Rt 31 home of the 10 cent coffee before you head to the beach and get ripped off. There menu prices for a full breakfast is reasonable and the difference in price will leave money in your wallet to enjoy the beach. read more

Brand new cozy store with places to sit and free parking while you shop. Sandwiches were very good had their Chicken as well as their Roast Beef. Both were great tasting. Baked goods great variety. Pastiaciotti chocolate and lemon were both delicious. Chocolate chip cooking was also good. Outdoor seating. Give it a try when in the area this summer. You won't be sorry. Was excited to see a new coffee/bakery spot opened up since the last time we went to this area. Overall it was decent enough but for the price we paid I would likely compare other nearby spots before returning. The drinks we got were quite tasty but wish the vanilla honey latte had more honey flavor in it. Secondly the breakfast sandwiches were good but were quite small. Service was quick and friendly and I can see why this would be a go to spot for locals as the I assume to be owner seemed to know quite a few customers even when we stopped in. They bring a new school bright and inviting/flashy vibe to an area that seems a bit outdated. The prices were just hard to be justified for what we got in terms of quality. read more

I settled on 4 stars because aesthetically, despite the small space, it is a cute little shop. The price and quality, however - 3 stars. My husband and I got 3 donuts and 1 pastry and it was $27. We were in town for three nights to do some boat repairs. We stopped here twice--once for breakfast sandwiches and coffee, and once for baked goods. Everything was delicious and the staff were very welcoming to everyone who came in to the shop. If I lived in town I would be a regular here. read more
