(Note cleaner used has worked fine with every other pair of glasses ever owned). Also opted for the add-on of magnetic pop on/off sunglasses. They are convenient, but the magnets are well within the field of vision. When complained about the issue was told there was nothing to do but perhaps let the manufacturer know. Finally, despite several visits for re-adjustments they still fit poorly. Back to old glasses. Waste of time and money. If you proceed anyway: Be VERY careful on your selection and stock up on the "magic" cleaner.

I am very happy with Dr. Woener's efficiency and consideration. Jess is kind and thoughtful. I like to chat with her. She answers your emails very quickly. I splurged on a pair of prescription sunglasses which turned out very well. While the prices may seem high, they do have sales and while they did not accept my vision insurance, they also provided discounts which made the pricing very attractive. I don't see OP as often at optometrist offices anymore, so it's worth stopping by when shopping for new specs.

I later discovered that my prescription had expired and it will be two months before I can see my ophthalmologist. I contacted the store right away to cancel the order, but they refused, citing a questionable "cancellation policy." Corporate customer service has been equally unhelpful -- they can't even locate my order, despite my credit card being charged. As of now, I have received no refund and no resolution. This experience has been deeply disappointing. Unless they correct this and issue a refund, I'll be sharing my experience across every relevant consumer and review platform to warn others.

But I decided to switch over to The Eyecare Center due to its convenient location and positive reviews, which I stand by. It's very easy to make an appointment online, which is a big factor for any kind of health care services. I've been in situations where I've had to wait forever to get an appointment and/or could only schedule an appointment with someone on the phone, which can be difficult since my schedule is very busy. For me to schedule it myself, it's very easy to do online as I can plan out and also, easily cancel when need be. The Eyecare Center also takes VSP insurance. The Eyecare Center is located near the Bellevue Botanical Garden in the Wilburton neighborhood, and is right off of NE 8th street, which is easy to get to, with plenty of parking in the private lot. There's also the B line bus stop right in front of it, making it accessible for all. Staff are always friendly and I always see the same eye doctor. The annual exam takes about an hour with the usual eye tests, dilation, etc. They do also sell eyewear here. No complaints about The Eyecare Center.

He decided to stop accepting new patients 2 weeks prior to my appt. I called to ask if they would honor the appt given it's long standing and was told "no." I asked them to check with Dr. McManus given the length of time the appt had been on the books. They said he had specifically told them to cancel all appts (she emphasized all). She (Megan) seemed certain he wouldn't consider it and wasn't willing to approach him about this. Bottom Line - don't expect this clinic to honor those things they've committed to. In my business, I encourage employees to come to me with these types of concerns and would never have turned down someone in this situation.

Everyone here is very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Liaw really took time to listen to me and understand my situation. She also addressed the extreme dry eye that my fancy neuro-ophthalmologist completely blew off; she gave me a prescription that after YEARS of suffering, finally works. Choosing and purchasing the glasses was also a good experience, and I did not feel like I was being upsold or pressured to get more than I needed. I'll be happy to return here in the future.

I'm really glad I ended up coming to MI Eyeworks and working with Dr. Corrado. He is very professional, kind, and explains every step of the exam. His eye exam, though still very thorough, was also extremely efficient compared to ones I've had in the past, so I was in and out of the exam room in under 30 minutes which was great! I ended up booking with MI Eyeworks instead of going home to my normal optometrist since I lost my computer glasses and needed new ones ASAP. I also decided to get sunglasses, since my insurance would cover two frames/lenses and I didn't need to replace my regular glasses this year. Leah, who helped me pick out frames and did pricing and pickup, was also very pleasant to work with. She helped me backorder frames since the colorway I wanted was sold out. The initial estimate was 5 weeks, but their supplier managed to get the frames in less than one week! The turnaround time for the glasses was extremely fast, with both glasses being ready within a week of my appointment (my other optometry had a 2-3 week turnaround).
