Iv been here before and got an amazing beautiful haircut. I had a mid length hair cut with long layers last year, I wanted to do somewhat the same thing but add some face framing to it that will flow into the long layers into the front. INSTEAD, I unfortunately got long chunky, CHOPPED, out grown looking bangs. Layers? No, looks like some random peices cut into my hair. I everything inside felt rushed. it was very clear that I had wavy/ curly hair, so when they half blower dried with roller my hair, it was still very poofy( last time they used roller and blow dried and it came out slick and straight) . My friends said I could try and pull the front peices off as curtains bangs, but they are just so chunky it wouldn't work. I WOULD have gone back to ask if they could fix it somehow but what's cut is cut, and there's nothing to fix. read more

Jackie is my go to for hair, when I told her that I wanted to go dark and add 22" extensions she made it happen. I am beyond happy, I needed this kind of transformation. Holy smokes does my hair look good and is still healthy from going from brunette to mostly blonde. I decided with Cordias advice on a more subtle color and it basically looks just incredible. She took all afternoon sculpting my hair and color and it never felt rushed even though I had long thick curly hair. Thank you again Cordia and Bella salon. One thing I'm bummed I missed out on is I believe they were running a special with a coupon and a goody bag for first time clients and I totally missed out on that :( read more

This is long overdue, I feel bad writing a scathing review but I'm so over this place. The salon looks nice and the stylists have a cool aesthetic, but eek! I kept giving them more chances to give me a decent haircut (simple a-line bob) and have spent so much of my hard-earned money on these horrible haircuts, I'm livid over it. Chelsey and Jackie both gave me mediocre cuts and let me walk out of the salon with one side of my hair inches longer than the other, so I figured I would give Jeanie a shot....what a mistake! She literally gave me the worst hair cut I've ever had- it was shorter in the front than the back and cut off the corners so it was like a bowl cut that was all raggedy and uneven. She had to get the owner to come and help her salvage the disaster and I STILL walked out of there looking like my hair got caught in a blender. She didn't even know how to blow dry my hair and was trying to straighten it while it was still wet... and she still charged me full price for this horrible experience?! The stylists here clearly need some additional training, I have no idea how it's an Aveda salon. You couldn't pay me to step foot back into this salon! This Salon is absolutely Gorgeous! I came in because my husband treated me with a gift Certificate for Christmad. I knew nothing about Aveda or the products. I got the best service as soon as I walked in the door. I was offered something to drink and told about some of the products and services they offer. I had booked a Exfoliating Massage and had no idea what to expect. Sara is who worked with me and gave me so many pointers and recommendations for my skin and even my hair. The massage was relaxing and made my skin feel brand new. After my Massage Sara helped me with lashes and showed me how to put them in. I was so happy when I left and the products she suggested were not badly priced considering it was a High End Salon with the best services. I will be back! From Good, to Bad, to Worse I was going to Bella Salon for 2.5 years. I literally spent thousands of dollars getting pedicures and manicures there. As I watched their nail techs fall off one by one, for whatever reason, I eventually was left with very few choices for who would do my pedicures and manicures. With much apprehension, I went to Joneal, the nail technician. The first issue that occurred is that the front desk staff could not set up my appointments they way I need them. They could not even come up with solutions on how to get me in for a manicure even if they could not schedule it right after my pedicure. The second issue I had was that I ask Joneal to be more aggressive with exfoliating my feet. Today, when I wanted her to exfoliate more, she insinuated that it was my fault that my feet were so rough. When I came home after my pedicure today, I discovered that my feet were still rough. So I called the salon and complained to switch my appointments to another nail tech. Apparently, the feedback got back to Joneal and she went the owner of the salon. The solution was not for Joneal to improve her technique. She went to the owner an lobbied for me to never to return to the salon. Even though my solution was to switch nail techs, their solution was for me to find another salon. Their reasoning was that the new nail tech I requested to switch to was not good enough and still had a long ways to go to prove herself. What's worse is that they did not offer me a refund. I had to call back and request it. I could say that they need better staff. However, the real issue is that they do not have the bandwidth to make their customers happy by making simple tweaks to their techniques. Their solution is to ask the customer to leave to maintain the illusion of customer satisfaction. Last, the woman who called and asked me not to return, who was not the owner (Jeannette) or the nail tech (Joneal), insinuated that I yelled while at the front desk, which was totally untrue because I NEVER raised my voice and I always behaved in a professional way. So long, Bella Salon. Just know that when you fail a customer as easy as me, you're actually on the downfall to your own demise! read more

First timer review... Stylist - Nice, professional and talented. I got a great cut. Mask on the whole time and she cleaned everything as we went (including the shampoo chair as soon as I got up). Great job. 5/5 stars. Pandemic protocols - Questionable. Multiple clients without masks on. Multiple staff with those clear face shields without fabric masks underneath. I was asked to sign a waiver limiting their liability but it seemed like they were not serious about taking basic precautions. I asked the person at the front desk about clients without masks and they said that they didn't know how to handle that situation. That tells me that management has not trained them and therefore doesn't take the pandemic threat seriously. 1/5 stars. I really liked my stylist but I don't know if I'll be back - ever. I certainly can't recommend them. read more

To Bella Spa; I have appreciated the Pure Sculpt Treatments. The package I purchased booked me for 12 treatments. A mix of Brazilian Wood Therapy and the Pure Sculpt Therapy. The 12 treatments spanned approximately 8-9 weeks. Along with the spa treatments I also received a couple of different fascia blaster tools and a vial of personalized oil mix. I used these after the first week to assist in between appointments. The results were noticeable to me after week two. Along with the treatments I was guided in my wellness journey employing 'whole' foods and some mild exercises. Being a more mature individual, I have practiced this way of wellness during many seasons of life. Even during a season of training and running half marathons. I have never seen these types of results with food and exercise choices alone. The manipulation and distribution of stored fat in the subcutaneous fascia was the key. read more

This was the first time I had Jackie cut my hair and having a new stylist is always a bit daunting - but when my old hair stylist took days to set up an appointment - I went on the hunt for other options. They had me with "booking on line" and every thing just kept getting better from there. I was greated by warm, smiling and welcoming staff as soon as I arrived. My appointment was spot on time and even included an aromatherapy scalp message. Had a picture of a style and cut I wanted and Jackie delivered beyond my expectations!! I was very impressed with Jeanette and her staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. I needed my roots touched up and I also wanted my highlights toned down. I recently returned from a 3 week trip to Greece, and the strong sunlight affected my highlights turning them brassy. Additionally, my hair looked dry and flyaway. First, they washed and conditioned my dry, damaged hair. I sat under the hair dryer to allow the treatment to absorb. Then they applied a rich dark brown color. I sat under the hair dryer to help the color to set. The results were amazing. My hair turned into a rich brown color with highlights that shone in the sun. All of the dry damaged hair was treated and turned my hair into soft, healthy, richly color. Thank you so much. Sara awesome personality made me feel right at home and was a precursor to the service to come. The salon is modern-day chic and very clean. Faith led me back to a very well designed esthetician room. She asked me questions about how I took care of my skin and decided to do a relaxing facial. Not once did she ever leave my face unlike some other places. When there was a break between products, she ensured I was getting a relaxing massage. This was one of not the best facial I ever received here in Carson, Reno, or anywhere else in the world I've traveled. Yesterday's facial was with Ivy who was so sweet and accommodating. She was really thoughtful and considerate to my comfort before we got started. Great conversationalist. I appreciated the most that she wasn't pushing me to buy more or add any services. I mentioned my embarrassingly blonde eyebrows and she mentioned tinting but ultimately I felt it was absolutely my decision when I asked if she had time to do it at the same time as my facial. And I love my brows!! She was really intuitive with the color she picked-about the same as I would fill them anyway. Super satisfied with the service and the staff at the salon. They're all really friendly and greet me by name even though I've only been in twice so far this year. Always offering refreshment-it's the little things. Came here for a pedicure with my stepmom this weekend and this is a beautiful salon! They offered us something to drink while we waited and everybody was very courteous and seem to be happy doing what they do. We were able to get to pedicures at the same time and both the ladies were wonderful and did a great job. The shop is very very modern with beautiful pieces of furniture. At the end of our pedicure we were brought into what they called the relaxation room which is very nice. I don't live in Carson City but I would give this place another visit read more
